We used to like the restaurant and visit at least once a week during summer days, especially after visiting theatre nearby. Nevertheless, when we were walking by and wanted to stop for a good bottle of wine and food tonight, we were refused to enter...before the regular closing hours with a notice that tonight we are closing 2 hours earlier. Restaurant was full of guests and did not seem to close soon. The waitresses were rude and did not want to discuss anything. I think you could find better place with more delicious food and more friendly staff. Better to go ahead for any of ambi or la collezione places, i.e. la bottega gastronomica nearby.More

On a sunny day this is wonderful place to enjoy the garden. Very relaxed and we had a nice lunch with pasta and salad. It’s just a shame that the waiters are not very interested, you would expect better service in such a nice place.

The worst experience you could ever imagine. Firstly waited over 30 mins then the waiter told you, oh we forgot to order your food. Secondly, refuse to handle us the Bill at the beginning. Only asking you, card or cash. Instead of let you check...the bill, no, just ask you pay. Finally we had Bill, instead of 425czk wine they „accidentally“ ordered you 650czk wine. And they also put other two drinks in the Bill which we couldn’t even possibly know. Then they claimed this is ours. Once we found out, first thing they did, is the manger „disappeared“ in our table and never came back to explain. I don’t Know how to explain this dining experience. INTERESTING!More

Very nice spot right underneath the Prague TV Tower. Outside seating on the garden is very relaxing. Good food, decent prices.

We really enjoyed this lovely restaurant, the food was delicious and served promptly, the staff were very friendly and welcoming; we also got a free entry to the fantastic TV tower from the manager Iroslav! A great night out alround!

Meal was fantastic, so was the beer. Situated in a garden under the tv tower you can’t go wrong! Service was great and we was made to feel very welcome. If you go to see the tv tower make sure you try the food here...in the garden!More

Such a nice location under the TV tower. But just disgraceful service. Don't be excited about the beautiful location. Nothing to add.

We went to Miminoo today. They had a specials board at the front of the restaurant. Nothing on the board was actually available to eat. The waitress told us that everything had been sold out over the weekend. We left to eat somewhere else, i...would imagine the reason there were only 3 people in the whole restaurant at lunch time is because it’s very annoying for customers to have a board of specials by your entrance way and not actually sell any of this!!! We went back to go up the tower for a glass of wines We asked in Miminoo if it was ok to take our small dog. We got told it’s fine. They have a entrance price for dogs. The receptionist showed us the way to the restaurant. We went up and got told that you can’t have dogs. Why would the Receptionist waste our time sending us upstairs and not just tell us this? Every member of staff we encountered were rude. There’s a reason this place is dead, we have been to two separate large events here, including a wedding, and everything is great. It’s clearly set up for that and not for day to day- like a hotel restaurant is. I wouldn’t even bother going here unless you want to end up very frustrated!!More

Visited this place before we went to the Zizkov TV tower. This is the kind of restaurant that will offer you food with interesting name (sometimes you will have problem to pronounce it), with interesting design on the plate and will cost a fortune, but...once you put the food in your mouth the taste won't be that interesting. We ordered burgers and I feel like I have eaten much better burgers in my life. Miminoo's version was nice to look at, but it didn't taste as good as it looked. Also, the service was weird. We went to this restaurant as a part of the promotion we got - for the discounted price we could eat here and then get discounted tickets to the Zizkov TV tower - after the waitress found out that we went there as a part of the promotion, she started acting arrogant and disrespectful. In the end it was her boss who was trying to save the situation. He came with our bill and made us pay only for 1 of our drinks (instead of 2). Other than that, I don't think I will come back.More

Even if you might be tempted to visit this restaurant, while visiting the TV tower, avoid it. Their staff is extremely unfriendly, unpolite and many times even slow. There are plenty of other restaurants and nice coffee places in the area.

Extremly rude staff, they want you to wait to be seated (I am fine with that) but then they let you stay there while looking at you for minutes. Ask a question, the answer is either rude or “we dont have it”. Slow, food average....Great place though, it is a shame to display such a lack of customer orientation. Still far from west european level of service and I am talking about minimum required. Their motto is “we do not care, there is a lot of other customers out there”.More

My son and I were visiting Prague (3) last week. Our B&B hosts gave us a list of dining recommendations. Minimoo was one and it was three blocks from our apartment. The service was a bit slow getting started. Having said that, the dinner we...had (a Chicken dish and a Pork tenderloin dish) may have been the best dinner we have ever had. The food, quite simply was mouth-watering. After dinner, I asked to speak with the manager (Hanka). I told her how much we enjoyed our dinner and that we would back the next night (before we left Prague) for another dinner. She was very appreciative. The next night, we returned and had another great dinner. We were treated to two glasses of a wonderful Prosecco. After dinner, I met up with Hanka again to pay her our compliments. She gave us a bottle of the Prosecco. Unbelievable. We will always go there when visiting Prague.More

I live very close by and have been here several times. Every time I swear I'll never go again but get roped into giving it one last try. The garden is lovely, the menu looks great. The issue is that in summer they have far...more tables than either the kitchen, the bar, or the number of staff can manage. This has been a consistent issue for many years. You can expect long waits for service, 45 mins to an hour for food, the food is average. Suggest visiting for drinks only at off-peak times. I don't blame the staff, I blame the set-up and the number of customers they are expected to serve.More
