Lovely authentic Czech cuisine.
Good beer and dessert!!
I reccomend the potato gnocchi and goulash.
The apple dessert was delcious!

Just by the tram tracks, close to a stop, ten minutes from the centre of Prague and ten minutes from the lovely Hotel Villa in Prague 5 is this gem called in English, Forks and Knives (or really Wolves and Knives).
The small and modest yellow frontage belies the spacious contemporary interior and large, private terrace, of a sophisticated restaurant whose menu reflects its sophistication.
Friendly staff, wonderful Russian borscht, and both roast and sous-vide duck to die for, this was an unexpected and delicious treat.

Went to this restaurant with a group of friends during our visit to the city. It came at the recommendation from a hostel worker. Was good food but a little overpriced for the amount you received. Everything was cooked excellently, I had the chicken gyro, just wish there was a little more food on the plate.

Third visit and last. First two visit underaverage, last try was disaster, stinky duck from the fridge with cold sauce. I had to send it back to kitchen

I went with my friend for the lunch here and she got amazing Sviečková, but I was not that lucky with my choice and I got rizoto with overcooked rice and dry chicken.

I come here almost every day for lunch. The food is great so it would a shame not to write a few words.
Good food, nice place, in summer woth terrace, plesant people working there.

4 of us ate here after passing during the day and deciding it looked a nice place for our evening meal.
Round the corner from our hotel so nice and convenient.
3 of us ordered the chicken steaks and expected chicken breasts but found ourselves getting a wing and a piece of breast.
Our food seemed to take a long time coming with locals coming in after us but getting fed well before us.
Food acceptable, service average not somewhere we would return to.

If you want traditional food for a good price, look no further. We had the roasted duck and the grilled goat cheese with eggplant. I recommend this place!

This location is not really touristic, it is rather a lunch spot for businesses nearby. We organized gatherings on two different occasions there for group of about 20 people. On both occasions, the service was excellent, friendly, effective, and the food superb. If you are in the neighborhood and hungry, you cannot make a mistake.

I have been there two times this summer and the menu has changed little bit and home made rapsberry lemonade too. It was my favorite but now it is more sweet and less tastfull. We had a burger and it was not as good as we were used to for this restaurant and the menu is not as good as it was. It is pitty. Hope they will come back.

Today we back again the same place (after 10 days)..today we received amazing welcome back..free food from house and raspberry drink ...and the friendly waitress provided Toys for my 4 year old son..everything was excellent including food..we had tartar, chicken wings and vepro-knedlo-zido ..will be back again for sure ..
