Amazing people and amazing food. Prices are well balanced and fair. It's a cozy place. Vegetarian options could improve, though.

The menu looks great but fails to live up to the photos. The Bohemian dish with duck, ham and sliced pork was salty. The duck was very dry. Salad was brought out together with the meal. Average service. Ok decor and ambiance.

Remember to bring enough cash and there is no network in there. Food is nice in general and the price is reasonable.

A good find on our last night. Food was very good and the service was lovely. Busy when we arrived, so lucky to get the last table.

Great goulash and dishes but they had a 15% discount in the door that they didn’t respect it. We asked for it and he said yes but you should have told me before. He didn’t wanted to do it. Bad experience at the end, the...waiter was mean.More

This was a great little find right in the heart of the city. Food was great, service with a smile too. Our only negative was that they add a 13.5% service charge that is not advertised anywhere visible and it’s not optional. This really adds...up on the bill.More

We ate here as a family of four. We had two mixed grills, spaghetti bolognese and chips. The service and food was first class and the downstairs cellar setting was great. Would definitely return and would recommend a visit.

My partner and I vistided this restaurant twice on our Christmas trip to Prague. The restaurant is situated in a picturesque cellar. The waiter on both occasions was very friendly compared with the other places we visited in Prague. He made the effort to talk...to use and make us feel comfortable. The food was typical Czech cuisine and was very fairly priced. One other noteworthy point was the availability of Kozel which was a nice change from the Pilsner Urquell typically offered in Prague. To top it off we were given complementary shots of Czech spirits. Superb!More

We are just came out from this place. We ordered 4 potato soups, 2 fried cheese, 1 salad, 2 patatos with bacon and onion, beer and water. The waiter refused to serve us because according to the restaurant policy it was too little. It’s absurd....I spend how much I want. Absolutely not recommended.More

We have been treated extremly bad. They did not have ANY change and were very rude. When we asked if we could pay seperatly they said they don't have to do anything "you're not my boss". Would not recommend. Also its very pricey

We stumbled across this when looking for a beer garden, first time round we drinks and returned the next day and had some food also. Excellent service, shout out to the barman outside, 14 of us and plenty of drinks. The food was amazing and...they have shows on some nights though we didn’t see that. Cheap food, cheap beers.More

We found this restaurant on our first night in Prague. It appeared to have a street level area and a basement. We chose the basement. It was empty and the waiter encouraged us to stay saying Mondays were always quiet. We enjoyed a pork knuckle...each and it was great. We told the waiter that we would return to have the sharing meat platter. He gave us a 15% voucher. Upon leaving we saw that the menu rack at the entrance had been restocked with similar vouchers for instant use and we wondered why he did not credit us with this discount earlier for our meal? Two nights later we returned and decided To try the street level area. A different brusque waiter initially made to show us to a table and then told us that all seats were booked by a party and there was no space available. We found this strange as there were a number of vacant tables. My wife cynically suggested that he had seen the discount voucher in my hand and had changed his mind on this obviously busier evening. We went to a restaurant directly over the road from the Pushkin and got a window seat. We did not see any party go to the Pushkin over the next hour and, although busy, there always appeared to be a table or two spare. Did the expected party not turn up or was my wife’s ‘feelings ‘ correct?More

My wife and I found this on our last night in Prague. It is a lovely restaurant down stairs in a basement. It has a vaulted ceiling which makes is more attractive. The waiter was very friendly and efficient. I had pork knuckle and my...wife had a pasta dish which were both lovely. Prices were reasonable. The beer and wine were also good. Recommended!More
