I love mexican food and here It tastes exactly like in Mexico! The best service and very cozy restaurant! Love it! Also....the best hungover food, haha
We had a plate for two and it was delicious. I don‘t think, that the food or the drinks are overly expensive...also the service is very nice and the owner is speaking german too! I can‘t relate to some of the reviews here...it‘s tiny but...soooo great! Would definetly come back!More
Greatly overpriced and was visited mostly by people with vouchers - not a good sign. Food was seriously not good. Guacamole was advertised as "Fresh" and what we received was few days old mash that lacked the color of fresh guaca and mostly the taste...was old and almost gone bad. Owner had great knowledge of tequilas and rums. Go for tequilas or rums but seriously stay away for any food!More
We came for lunch, and had a special treat-- a large tray with several different wraps with meat and melted cheese. Everything was excellent-- well prepared food, polite and efficient service (she spoke very good English), and Mexican background music. The place is tiny-- just...a few tables, but it is well worth a visit. The restaurant is in the posh area of Vinohradska.More
What a place. Most of the so called "mexican" restaurants in Prague are really unacceptable if you are looking for some decent tex-mex meals. In Sonora, it is all differrent story. Good enchilladas, very acceptable burritos, plus a very good choice of rums if you...are into the spirits. The place is small, cosy, and not so far from tourist attractions if you use the underground.More
My friend and I are in Prague and we wanted Mexican food. We found Sonora and it was great! The food was very tasty and reasonably priced. The staff was very friendly and attentive. I had the chicken burrito with Mexican rice.
Here I have ate the most spicy soup in my life (and trust me, I am a spicy-gourmet). Generally the food is great and it comes in huge portions. The beers are OK, but the choice of strong alcohol is quite impressive. The waiter is...at same time and the owner of the place and he represent himself as big tequila-master. However, I brought a guy from Mexico who is also into tequila-and-stuff and they did not agree on many points...More
You can sit inside or on the street terrace. Good selection of daily lunch specials plus the menu. Prices are fair. Beware if they say it is spicy it is hot. Large amount of liquor selections behind the bar and display around the restaurant. Nicely...decorated and clean toilets. This was my third time there and I have not been disappointed.More
Only got 2 pilsners but menu had a great tequila selection and food looked good too. Staff was nice but didn't speak English.
If you like rums, tequilas and mezcals, this is a place for you. The selection is wide and the staff knowledgeable. But don't miss the food on the account of the booze :) It may not be 100% authentic but it sure is tasty and...very well prepared.More
Great neighborhood restaurant which is reasonably priced. Nice food, big portions, friendly staff and an amazing selection of Mezcal and Tequila that you will not find anywhere else. I think they are only open mon-fri so check opening times before you go.
Have been there celebrating my birthday with my girlfriend for the first time and then several times again and we could not really say a bad word. Design of restaurant is typically Mexican.. After coming there you got the feeling of not living in Prague,...but any ciudad! Especially if you drink a bit of their great tequila. :-) Our favorite is plato combinado which consists a lot of different Mexican meals. Some of them are pretty hot and some of them are hot even "twice", so pay attention! :-) Staff was always kind and relaxed. Now as I see the web is not ready.. will have to check them again to find out what is going on. Till last visit I may only recommend!More
We visited the restaurant for a lunch. Having garden is nice. Except that there is nothing more than average. I had a burritos and it was kinda w/o any specific mexican taste. Same for soup. Actually the interior looks pretty nice but we sit out...of restaurant.More
Brilliant little hideaway, if you like quick Mexican food this is the place. Nice music, chilled atmosphere, the staff attentive and relaxed. Not fine dining but if you want a quick fill here's the place. Would recommend!
