We discovered this lovely restaurant close to our hotel. Downstairs in a spotless basement with lots of character and tradition. Nice to have the option of non-smoking. Staff very attentive and food both delicious and good value for money would definitely recommend and return.

We had read great reviews about this place and were really looking forward to having a drink there. It is a small venue and sadly therefore there is no getting away from the smell of cigarette smoke. Saying that we stayed for a drink and the service was good. There is an extensive drinks list with a great selection of... More

We visited this restaurant twice on our visit. We are non smokers and thankfully they had a non smoking section which wasn't impacted at all by the smoking section. The services was excellent and the food was delicious. Would highly recommend.

Having just arrived in Prague this was just the ticket. 2 minutes from our hotel, cheap but good quality food and great service! A great start to our trip.

This is one to pass over. I've been here a few times and it's been disappointing each time. On two occasions they've served the wrong food, and the orders that were correct were utterly atrocious. Their four cheese pizza is the most disgusting thing I've ever eaten.

Al Capone is reasonably priced and offers good quality food and nicely served drinks. The food was fresh and not overly seasoned with good service also. I enjoyed it so much I returned a second time but it was full unfortunately. This is definitely one to try!

Great food, first day I had chicken and mozzarella cheese on a bed of mushrooms that was so nice. I had the next day salmon and spinach pasta, wasn't so keen on this but that was by taste buds nothing to do with the quality. Staff are really friendly and helpful. I would go again if I went to prague.

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
