Called into the rustica while passing (the ladies needed the bathroom, the gentlemen needed a beer!) what a quaint little place, ended up staying for a few beers and had snacks, the food was good and so was the beer, this place seemed to specialize in Italian food, and the pizzas that other people looked gorgeous.

Found this little restaurant around the corner from the Boscolo Hotel. Superb homemade pizzas and very good pasta; all very inexpensive. Service was a little indifferent with x2 out of the x4 meals served approx 20 mins after the original ones had arrived. No explanation or apology offered which was a little poor but I think the restaurant was under... More

Visited this place for a quick bite to eat. Food was ok, ordered hot drinks as well which were fine too, but then I asked for a glass of tap water to take my medication and was charged 30.-Kč !!!! I travel around the world and it seems that only the Czechs are greedy enough to charge you for tap... More

Nice rustic ambiance and good Italian food. The pizzas are huge and even the pasta portions are quite large. Recommend

It is located just around the corner from the hotel. As we ventured out looking of a meal, we saw it and just walked in. We always like to try pizza in each city we visit. The restaurant is in the lower level of the building. It was quite busy on the night we were there, but we were able... More

My last night in Prague I had intended to eat well, but having been on my feet all day, I looked at Trip Advisor to find a restaurant near my hotel. Rustica showed some negative reviews, but I realized there are always a few. I had bad vibes when I saw that Rustica is under a hostel, maybe part of... More

Went with another couple, we each had a salad, pizza, and pasta dish. Salad was ok not enough greens, but still good. The pizza was thin crust and excellent. The pasta dishes were all homemade pasta, and very generous portions, we split one and the other couple each had there own dish, we could have all shared one pasta for... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
