Was told by my new boss that we would go to a nice restaurant for lunch (he knows that I was a chef for 7 years in New York).
I was very pleased by the decor, elegant but not cold. The smiles on the staff...even looked genuine, which is always nice, and they were not taken aback when I asked them about details of the food, or what they would recommend. Very natural and friendly, which I really appreciate.
Very interesting selection from the barnyard, forest and sea.
The veal sweetbreads were succulent and served with a melange of vegetables that added color, texture, and even flavor. I appreciated how the dish pleased multiple senses, as any work of art should.
The service was without error, soup poured at the table - Ah, how delightful...
The yellowfin was perfect, with a slightly caramelized outer sesame crust, while very rare and fresh on the inside.
As our Prague corporate offices are located just next door, I hope to visit this great restaurant again in the near future.More
