Dinner for 6 people at this lovely golf hotel restaurant. Service was excellent and the food was delicious. I had the Rabbit appetizer and Duck as the main course. We all had other apps/mains and dessert and 3 bottles of wine – total price was about $230. Very reasonable!

I would highly recommend wellness (masage, whirpool, sauna) and hotel restaurant. They adjusted our menu to vegetarian. When you book a room, you then need to make a special reservation for wellness and restaurant. Flowers in the room were provided free of charge. Nice and professional staff. Good selection of wine. Breakfast is continental in the form of bufet. Free pick up from the airport (we haven't used it but we're offered to).

Very nice staff, great choice of menu and cosy athmosphere

I liked the place in terms of location - terrace with French windows leading to the garden/golf course. I would love to come here for a family/friends lunch/dinner as the place is really lovely. Great choice and the food was very nice. Perfect and very helpful staff! The desserts are all gluten-free! :-)

it's on a big name with a small hotel

first when you get to the hotel lobby it's 3×3 meters and the bar also 3×3 m with two halls one of them used for breakfast time maybe hotel have 30 rooms too dark bad color, most of the stuff is rude . carpet had bad color. no time to clean your room in morning time .food prices start from 150 /kc up to 470 kc up for one main dish .located in one of highway corner u can use bus+matro to reach the city. totally the bed in the hotel is not belong to a hotel and rusturant, and gulf course, the they have a bed size peace of lutax or sponge

I had booked a table in the winter garden for the end of June for 14 people. All seems good. Some days later I received the following email: i have small trouble, i have to change your reservation from the winter garden to our beautiful Chateau´s restaurant. Becouse of big reservation in our winter garden, where they pay for the rental.

A Prague oddity with charming staff

We had received a gift of the tasting menu to celebrate our birthdays at the Chateau St Havel. The restaurant is definitely not central, but after looking at their beautiful website, we were keen on our meal there. The building itself is lovely, but the location is all rather odd. It is between the railroad and the highway. As we walked through the little park to get there, the buzz of cars was rather assaulting on the senses. When walking into the hotel/restaurant, the first thing we saw was a children's playground. This was the not spiffy hotel that we had seen presented online. But the service was very friendly. The food was good - but not great. The presentation was often lacking. For every course I thought, "I hope that this will be the wow dish!" There was no wow dish. The biggest wow was the amuse-bouche which was a piece of smoked duck with puréed peas. That was lovely. The eel was also good. The lamb was fatty and a bit too salty. The dessert (cheesecake) was a culinary disaster. The wine pairings were the best part of the meal - with the orange Portuguese dessert wine being the biggest hit. I keep coming back to the service because it really was great. While we were there, a large Russian group arrived and was very loud. The staff kindly moved us to another room where it was much quieter - even though we had not requested the move ourselves. They were attentive to our needs and made us feel welcome. But as for the kitchen, not yet there....

delicious meals & extraordinary service

harmony of flavors which begins with starter, continues through main dish and ... dishes with profesionaly balanced combination of ingredients, can recommend Nut crusted zander fillet and /or Saddle of falow deer. caring staff who know how to make lovely surprises if requested on demand prior your visit :-)

Company christmas dinner

Everything went superb. We had wonderful time to chat and eat - not to bother with annoying details (staff, food quality), because everything was perfect! The winter garden was so beautifully lit we ale felt to be a royal family.

The hotel is an interesting concept- old building in lovely scenery (but very close to a busy road so you hear the sound of civilization). The restaurant and food is above 4 stars the place nominally carries- vert tasty, interesting menu and preparation. Interior...I do understand that they could not intervene more than allowed but having said that- elevator needs fixing (squeaking and shaking a bit) and stuffy smell coming from wall to wall carpet needs to be sorted out. Room was spacious, bathroom was basic, all amenities were there, you even get Nespresso cooker in the room which is cool. Service is good- they are responsive and polite. Beds... if you are a person of above average height or bigger build you will have a challenge. Beds are single person bunks which means they are very narrow (less than 1m?) and it is challenging to turn in them. Two bunks are put together but the gap is in between... All in all- place has potential and some charm. And still some work to be done to get where they should.

The food was good here. i ordered a simple pasta and liked it. but the best thing about this place is their great service. but the only bad thing about this place is that they give us tap water and expect us to pay extra for it?? this is the first time I have ever done that.

Good but service was once better

Yesterday we went to this restaurant after having visited it last year during our summer holiday. We were gifted with a voucher for a spa treatment and a degustation menu. Food ranged from great (eel and rabbit) to average at best(dessert and veal). Overall interesting, we seated in a terrace opening and the lake and park and everything looked very pretty. What we did not enjoy much was the service, after last year a guy and two girls had been simply amazing and made our evening perfect. At the beginning of the meal my partner pointed out i cannot absolutely have cheese, and clearly i got a gorgonzola souffle together with the veal. The waiter apologized. When the main waiter was busy, the other came gave us plates without saying what it was, and luckily my nose recognised the cheese... I simply think such a restaurant should have amazing waiting staff, because clearly you pay a premium and there must be more reason other than just the quality of food. Overall we had a pleasant evening after all and the place is worth a visit.

Superb quality and value

This was the highlight of my stay, especially as a food and wine enthusiast!. Incredibly good value for inspirational cuisine from the country's leading TV chef, backed by a superb wine list. Breakfast was adequate, rather than memorable but the terrace offers a lovely al fresco dining experience, any time of day.

Breathtaking Valentine's dinner

It was our first stay in this beautiful hotel for a Valentine's night associated with 6 course special menu paired with wine. Finally I would say it was a breathtaking night we got there especially because of the dinner. We sat in the nice romantic conservatory with view towards patio and an ancient park. The food was absolutely perfect and interesting by its composition, but the absolute star was a complex experience of the whole evening. In addition to the great preparation and presentation of the meal, Mr. Tuhacek was the real experience of presenting the well coupled wine, no common access to famous wines. Every wine was unexpected and unusual, accompanied by an incredibly detailed description of winemaking and wine itself. We have to admit that the really high-standard experience of the whole evening was thanks to Mr. Tuhacek and his well-informed but effortless interpretation. The rest of the hotel and its services are great. Rooms are nice, clean, calm, the hotel is well suited for either private or business stay. We definitely plan to come back for another nice dinner.

Nice environment and typical food

Restaurant is located in a very nice golf club and has a nice decoration. Prices are not high and food is good. Nice place for a business meal.
