This was an interesting bar. Lots of stone and pictures of evil doers on the walls like Jack the Ripper, etc. I loved the underground aspect of it. The beer selection was good but I wasn’t a fan of the menu. It had a cool...vibe though. A good spot to meet friends and socialize. It was a stop on our Prague beer tour.More

Stopped here as part of a beer tour - such a cool pub, with some parts dating back to the 12th century. Beer was excellent - the Pilsner amazing! Food was pretty traditional. We tried the fried cheese and fries which was good. Not a...massive veggie menu, but that is to be expected in a traditional Czech pub. Staff really friendly too. If you want excellent beer in a proper traditional setting, this is your place.More

Not the friendliest for locals as previously stated, I tried my best to speak Czech to a woman who was behind the bar and was ignored a menu as others were being served, but that’s an individual as a younger lad was good with me...another time. I’d keep your head down cause 2 gentleman got started on for not speaking Czech. It’s nice cause it’s one of the very few Czech pubs in the area. Beer is very cheap and I had the beef goulash which was nice. I was on my own so I could imagine if a group of tourists came in, they’d not like it. I’m giving it a good review cause I didn’t find anywhere with cheaper beer (55 crowns).More

We walked in this low key bar in a side street of Prague old town and loved it. The bar is cosy and there were even locals - rare find in over-touristy Prague. We sat at the bar having beers and eventually ordered food -...delicious chicken schnitzel and pork belly. Highly recommend the place and good luck being seated by the waiters as a tourist;-)More

Visited this place for a beer, not disappointed. Good price in this cavernous bar which also does food.

It was a warm afternoon, feeling thirsty, so we jumped to have a glass of beer, or two, to the pub (or rather a restaurant-style pub:-) A nice staff, understood and replied jokes, a silence inside outside off the busy hours, more then affordable price...of the Pilsner Urquell beer (have a half liter instead of a small one, pays oou!)More

On first entering this place it all looks a bit 'spit and sawdust' but when you settle in, it's all part of the atmosphere. We were just looking for a simple meal and drink, and chicken escalopes were just that. Simple delicious, served quickly and...good value. This place (stated on menu) only accepts cash so make sure you have it before you eat. Find cellar area after, and it's almost spooky! Great placeMore

Wow. I have travelled the world and by far this has been the worst place I’ve ever been. Landed in Prague looking to celebrate my birthday. This bar is right next to our hotel so somewhere we would have spent a lot of money. We...were refused seats as we weren’t ‘regulars’ then we were told we couldn’t sit anywhere. Not sure why they even served us as it was clear we were not welcome. We were so hopeful of a great night but these guys treated us disgusting. Not sure why they didn’t want us there other than ‘no Czech. No seat’. Disgusting human beings. The scum of this earth. I would give it zero score if I could.More
