Never been to a restaurant where the staff makes you feel like family. Food locally raised by the owners and excellently cooked. Excellent show, high energy. Local dining at its best.

Our tour arranged for our New Year’s Eve celebration here. I was skeptical as to the entertainment. But guess what? I had great fun! Love that foot tapping folk music. My vegetarian selection proved quite tasty (after they corrected the error of giving me the...greasy chicken soup which upset my stomach - yeah don’t know why it took time for me to realize those were chicken bits). And they involve the audience in dancing games which are fun especially when you’ve been drinking. Several of us in this senior group ended up carousing and leaving with our champagne bottles! It was fun and I felt fine next day.More
Wow! The evening was perfect. Food and wine was excellent, the dessert was a family recipe! The show and musicians were great! An absolute must if you are in Prague!
We had to eat so why not enjoy some Czech dancers at the same time. We had their Traditional Menu with roasted meat. The goulash soup was great, meat was cooked to perfection, potatoes, sauerkraut and red cabbage were wonderful. Cold beer and coffee &...dessert to finish it all off. The dancers and the orchestra were great!More
what a wonderful traditional evening very unusal combination of items for the meal which on the whole worked very well. very traditional music we think a cimbalom was beng played aswell great traditional dancing with as much wine as you wanted very well run and...very enjoyable oddly at the moment you can only pay in cash we had been in email contact so we were aware of thisMore
Is this on the "Tour Bus Circuit"? Well yes but we haven't enjoyed a night out more in 30 years. We called about 6 weeks in advance to make a reservation but Bozena (owner) told me it was sold out with 2 large tour groups...but she would make us a table on the side right next to the dancers and musicians. She even wanted us to come early so we could meet her and the staff. This is a family restaurant where Michal is the chef and Bozena seemed to manage the staff ensuring everything worked like clockwork. What an experience! They served a good quality Czech beer and wine (bottomless glasses) that never seemed to stop. The restaurant is all about preserving Moravian Culture featuring traditional costumes, music, dancers and of course food. While we waited they brought out aperitifs for us which my wife raved about so they promptly brought out another one for her. The appetizer was a plate with eggplant wrapped around goat cheese, ham and a big mixed salad. Then the soup course (potato cream) followed by grilled meats which were very tender. Finally a dessert of cream and a tart. The music and folk dancing was excellent! So, come here and make believe you are a tourist. You won't regret it!!!More
After 3 years I visited this restaurant again and very happy about it.Great hosts, amazing and more than enough food, excellent wine and lovely live music and dance.Highly recommend this special place in Prague
Excellent food. Our group enjoyed the beers, wines, vegetarian, and traditional dishes. The live music and dance is incredible. Highly recommended!
Me and my husband visited Michal on Friday for dinner and had made reservation directly with the restaurant (not with a tourist group) because we wanted to see the folklore dance show and live music. The waiters are very friendly and try to accommodate your...needs, the food comes out fast and is delicious and plenty, the musicians play their heart out and the folklore dance is very entertaining. There were games so the viewers were also included in the show and we had a great time. Absolutely worth the money!More

Food was great, wine was good, entertainment excellent. So glad we picked this restaurant and made reservations via email ten days prior. They were booked up on a Thursday, but could accommodate us on Wednesday. Suggest at least two weeks if reserving closer to the...weekend. It was a great start to our European vacation. In fact, I enjoyed our Prague visit more than Germany, Luxembourg, France. Historical city, very clean, exciting.....take a afternoon boat ride on the river....More
Dear SigEpBrother, many thanks for your visit and review. We are very happy that we could be part of your European holiday and that you enjoyed Prague.
Tables are set so that half the group is back to the otherwise average show. Food is OK but wine and beer are bland.
Thank you for your message. We always strive for maximum satisfaction and quality of our services and we regret that you were not satisfied.
We were a party of 4 friends attending the folk evening and what a great night we had. Service and food was excellent and the music and dancing was great. The party of Italians that had everyone also singing and dancing made our holiday. Would...definitely recommend visiting this restaurant.More
