Excellent quality food and beer for a very reasonable price. Had the half roast duck (with all the Czech trimmings!), with a pint of local lager and a cup of tea afterwards, all for approximately £13.00! Atmosphere was reasonably lively and the staff were very...helpful and accommodating. There is a lack of green vegetables/salads on the menu, but upon request they were able to produce a side of green beans for us. Great place to visit for dinner if you want something away from the main tourist attractions.More

The traditional food section is filled with delicious foods. Especially the traditional sirloin. Would recommend it 10/10 times.

This great little restaurant was the location of our Welcome Dinner to Prague with our OAT travel leader, Vashek. We were seated quickly and served water and bread immediately. Directly following, our server took our drink orders. I ordered the Staropramen which is brewed by...this restaurant. It is one of the most popular throughout the Czech Republic. We had a fixed price menu that consisted of an excellent salad, chicken schnitzel with a sauce, and mashed potatoes. For dessert we had chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream. We were offered coffee or tea at the end of the meal as well. The food was delicious. The salad was different than the typical American salad. It had tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots, and other veggies ... no lettuce. It had a very light dressing that was delicious. We had a group of eight at a long table, and the it was easy enough to hear everyone. The server looked to be about 12 years old, but I am sure that is just me getting old! The service was excellent. I was highly satisfied and would definitely recommend the place.More

Very nice place to come. The food is a little salty but they have plenty of beer. The restaurant has a very nice and modern atmosphere and I would definitely come back.

Had a dinner there during my weekend stay in Prague. The restaurant offers very good unpasteurized Staropramen (beer brewed in Prague) and mostly traditional Czech dishes. I ordered ribs and not only they were tasty but the portion was also good. Prices, service and equipment..... everything was OK as well. Can easily recommend this restaurant to those who are seeking for a good beer and a tasty food.More

Best in Prague with local traditional food. Pork cheeks in creamy sause with potato dumpling were just heaven to my mouth. Best beer. Cheap prices. You can have a dinner and beer for 200k.

Enjoyed a nice meal here sitting outside on a warm balmy evening and watching the world go by. Friendly waitress who spoke far better English than my Czech. But unfortunately not good enough to get the right meat order! The fillet steak was delicious but...not the beef option we'd actually ordered, and in fact nearly double the price! She was apologetic and it was probably a genuine error, but came away wondering if it was a great wheeze to enable an upsell. Nonetheless was still all tasty and good value so no complaintsMore
