I went there for a private dinner with our bussines partners. The stuff was just magnificent, food spectacular and atmosphere just great... Advice? Get some super tuscany wine :)
Went there for lunch with my wife and we had an unforgettable experience. Everything is top-notch: food, service, wine cellar, deco, ambiance, live kitchen, crockery, cutlery, location, bathroom (like a spa!)… i do not know where to end. Chef De Carli, his wife and team...are taking you on a special journey that will remember for the rest of your life. I could feel that everything offered is well thought with a true story to each ingredients or objects. A very few places or people are able to offer this experience. Casa De Carli is one of them. Casa = home. I believe that what Chef De Carli wanted to take us. Well he did it! Prague is very lucky to hold such a gem.More
My husband and I both decided to get one of the specials, the risotto with asparagus. We were told that it would take 45 minutes to prepare so we decided to get an appetizer also. We ordered scallops and when the dish was brought it...had two small scallops on it! We had ordered rosso di montalcino wine and were given a scant 3 to 4 ounces each. The food was delicious but not worth the cost of 85 US dollars.More
Away from the tourists in the quieter Jewish quarter in Prague; a welcomed respite from our day in Old Town. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful when choosing Italian wines. We ordered a special, a scallop appetizer, this was the best scallop I have...ever eaten. I am from a coastal area, I have eaten my fair share of scallops. It was perfectly cooked and creamy. Our other dishes were also fantastic: simple, elegant, and small portions. The homemade table bread and dips were also exceptional. I would highly recommend this restaurant!More
A tour guide suggested this restaurant and our group of six had the best time in this small place. In fact, this was the best meal during a two -week trip from Prague to Paris with Viking. The waiter was very friendly and engaging and...provided excellent service. Then, the food was just outstanding. Everyone enjoyed their choices- my sea bass was especially delicious. Then, at the suggestion of our waiter, we ordered the chocolate cigars and chocolate molten lava cakes for the table to share. Outstanding!More
Our concierge recommended this small lovely restaurant to us. We were thrilled as we were looking for a little change of pace. The food and service were impeccable. We had two wonderful fish dishes prepared to perfection and couldn't have been more satisfied. The restaurant...is small and they are happy to turn people away in an effort to keep the servers and kitchen help chaos at a minimum. They prefer to give their customers the best possible experience and trust me it showed. The servers were attentive and friendly and the food outstanding.More
My wife and I have been married almost 27 years and we normally pick nicer restaurants but not really over the top. This restaurant is over the top in service and food but not in price. We sat outside which was fantastic. We split a...candied walnut/roasted beet/goat cheese salad and my wife ordered the rabbit risotto and I ordered the Osso bucco. The waiter brought out bread and breadsticks with olive tapenade and roasted tomato tapenade along with a serving each of beef carpaccio. What a TREAT. Not ordered. Not expected. No charge. but fantastic. The main dishes arrived and both were delicious. We topped off the dinner by splitting a Tiramisu. Out of this world. A little pricier than most places in Prague but still 100 Euro for 2 glasses of wine, salad, main course, dessert and tip.More
We had dinner here after a Prague food tour during the day so we were craving a change of pace after a day of Czech food. The waiter was great and had some amazing wine recommendations from a great, unique white by the glass to...a very nice bottle of red from Piemonte. The burrata and Vitello tonnato (always a dish I order) were outstanding starters and then we shared a rabbit risotto (perfectly al dente) and then an off menu carbonara. Very fun spot and we were pleasantly surprised it was casual with great service. The dining room pictures for some reason looked a little fussy to us but we went upon several friend’s recommendations and so glad we did as it was not fussy at all.More
I only want to say something.. THAT FOOD WAS AMAZING....my vitello tonnato was probably the best i hade in my life ( sorry mum ) highly recommended.
The best: The staff and service was super! The worst: The waiting! Two quite simple dishes took more than 1 hour to prepare. Food was okay, but no more than average.
We enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Casa De Carli. Sat outside – lovely setting. The service was very friendly and attentive. All the dishes were very inviting and tasted wonderful. Highly recommend.
I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner of sea bass here - it was perfectly prepared, and plated beautifully. The ambiance is upscale but charming, and the staff were friendly and attentive. A bit pricey but well-worth every koruna.
Easily lives up to its Michelin Assiette (Plate) rating. Friendly staff, tables on the cobblestone street, in an upscale neighborhood made for a pleasant evening. The octopus seafood salad was very tender, and tasty. Highly recommend.
We were a group of 9, and the excperience was amazing. The food was not only beautiful to look at, but tastet really good. The service, the wine, the whole visit was the best food-excperience we had in our 5 days visit in Prague.
