There are lots of good restaurants in Prague. Monarch is not one of them. Food tastes bland. Starters : herring is poorly thought out and poorly presented. Tartar is just ok - terrible for a place supposedly so good with meat. Main course: fish is...More

The way they price there steaks is very confusing, but it was one of best steak I have eaten in my life. It was cooked to perfection, so juicy and tender. The wine list looks amazing and the service was great. Would highly recommend!

The quality was quite good, but the prices were extremely expensive and we were hungry afterwards. Paying 20€ a person with no wine and be hungry, in Prague, seems a little bit too expensive.

It is no longer a tapas bar, which confused us a little. Fabulous, juicy steak with caramelised fat. Potato purée and carrot side dish were really delicious as well. Personable wait staff on the second trip

Food was neutral for the inflated pricing. Service and meal coordination was way off. Setting was quaint but the energy of atmosphere was very much missing... unfortunate.

Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the
medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is
bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický
square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle
in the background, is probably the most beautiful
square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere
of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and
squares, and stone towers blend together with the
