There were 3 of us that went to dinner at this restaurant. We ordered 2 cocktails and a glass of red wine. All drink were good. For appetizer we got leak soup and carrots. I would say they were both good but nothing to rave...about. Bread they served wasn’t very good. For dinner I ordered shrimps. Shrimps were cooked good and they came with a appetizing mango salsa. My son ordered the U.S prime dry aged bone-in ribeye, and enjoyed it. The steak was a bit too salty, but overall there was else nothing to complain about. Good portion for one person, and overall a solid steak.More
What an amazing place this is....we had not been able to get into our planned dinner place, full, wandered and saw this place across the road and it just looked warm and welcoming. The waiter we had (alas I forget his name) was brilliant. The...steaks were insanely good, we got a tasting board of several kinds. They also serve some fantastic wines and gins. Highly recommended, will for sure be back when next in PrahaMore

I take good care of reviewing the restaurants I visit when traveling to a new city, almost never disappointed. This time I got tricked with the Michelin and the reviews. The service was very rude and un helpful, we had the local beef on a...mignon fillet and a burger. The mignon was dry and chewy didn’t even had a side dish unless paying way more for it. Definitely not recommended. Way to expensive for that quality. Also ordered the burger, it was good, enough for any half priced restaurant in Prague, definitely not expected for a Michelin recommendation. Overall a total failure. Probably just my experience in holy Friday.More

modern style design restaurant in city center serves amazing properly matured rib eye steak, not cheap for prague but definetly worth every penny.
Thank you for your kind review. We are glad you enjoyed dining at Monarch. Hope to see you again. Monarch Team
Super tasty and never the less tender Meat. We shared a Big plate with Four different cuts of meats. So delicious You have to try it to believe it
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us a 5-star review and for sharing it. We are glad you enjoyed your meal at Monarch. Looking forward to seeing you again . Monarch Team
Terrible Steak! We took the dry aged prime rib-eye which considered the best kind of meat in this restaurant. It was super dry and we ate like 50 grams from the 400 grams. The wine and the service was great and because of it I...gave 2 stars instead of 1. We paid 3200 KC for wine,French fries, carpaccio and the steak - I felt like someone stole money from my pocket.More
Not sure if it was the service or the food that made dinner perfect. The best steak I think I have ever had and followed by an amazing pudding off whipped semolina with cinnamon and gingerbread ice cream
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us a 5-star rating – it’s much appreciated! Looking forward to seeing you again at Monarch. Monarch Team
Our experience at monarch was very mediocre. A fine dry aged ribeye steak (with a lot of silverskin unchewable parts) Their tartare on the other hand was amazing. Sauce and fries were good too Overall a good experience, but not worth the super high prices
It is the best restaurant in Prague, far away from other that claims to be good restaurant ! The best absolutely. Excellent food, meat specifically, excellent carpaccio, the best ever eat, big list of excellent wines, either moderate price and high price. The salads both...amazing, the green vegetables was amazing in his simplicity, the grilled vegetables also amazing, presented in a unique way. The sweets excellent. I think that, the concept of this Amazing restaurant is to offer excellent quality food with fantasy when appropriated, and not just impressive plates that confused the consumer with different tastes. Simplicity and fantasy is the wining way to get the best results in gastronomy also. We visit 3 other So called Michelle's restaurants in Prague, but there is a wrong concept in the city. Food culture is missing. Monachi has the right approach of excellent food with amazing tastes and it serves the so called "food culture" for excellence.More
Starting with a great mineral water (22, artesian water from Spain), then smoked tartare (5 star) and t-bone + filet mignon (stunning). One of the best meat ever eaten. Friendly staff, good wine selection, spotless clean. Not the cheapest but worth every penny. Highly recommended.
Thank you for visiting Monarch and thank you for your kind review. We are always pleased to hear our guests were happy with our service as well as meal and drink. Looking forward to your next visit. Monarch Team
We had a great time dining at this restaurant. The food is amazing and The steaks are excellent! The service is also very good.
We just don`t understand all the good reviews for this place. I am Norwegian and used to high prices, but the prices on this restaurant are just insane. The far cheapest on the menu is a burger, and that costs almost 20 euros, which is...close to what you have to pay in Norway. A t-bone steak costs close to 50 euros, and that is just wild (and I am not even sure if side dishes are included in that price).. The wine prices are also sky high. I think the average price for a bottle of wine is more than 150 euros, and it was difficult to find wines that costed less than 40 euros. Probably a lot of great wines, but still.. I must also mention that we asked to have the burger medium done, but it was almost totally raw. Not worth the money, not by far.More
the place is well structured, it is not expensive especially for those who know what they want to drink, the dining room staff is very knowledgeable about the history of wines and is ready to follow you step by step, the food is well done,...I highly recommend the meat because it is cooked in impeccable way, we were very happy with it. recommended place for lovers of good wine and natural winesMore
We visit Monarch Restaurant in January 2022. We ordered the New York Strib with potatoes, salad and port wine sauce. It tasted like heaven! We also ordered a bottle of wine, and it also tasted sooo good. In the end we ordered a dessert. The...service was very good and the location was perfect. I would definitely recommend this place! 😊 - DanishMore
