If your wanting an Authentic American Burger's this is the Place! Having tried a few burger places in Prague this is by far my FAV! The waiters/waitresses are very friendly and attentive to the customers, they make you feel comfortable and are not overly pushy to order! Having a Raspberry Cocktail it was Amazing, and their cider from a Local... More

They boast about their service on their website but we could not disagree more. I was there with my 3 friends a week ago and we ordered hamburgers and the biggest problem was the service and that they did not listen. Even though we explicitly asked for medium-rare, they just waved that away ang nonchalantly said that ALL the burgers... More

Many different hamburgers. Interesting toppings. Cold and uninteresting fries. OK coleslaw. "salad" was 4 slices of tomato and shredded lettuce, no dressing. Excellent service but outside tables have smoking so if the wind is blowing in the wrong direction... Excellent drinks menu. Loved the Zizkov Mule. Gluten-free possibility (no bun for the burger but extra salad.) Lovely space overlooking Riegrovy... More

We were tempted to come here from having read the good reviews on TripAdvisor. It is a reasonable distance from the old square but certainly makes you feel like you've earned your meal after it! My partner ordered a plain burger, no salad just burger and bun, which the waitress was happy to accommodate for. I myself went for the... More

I went there for the burger, since it was well known for that. English menu is a plus. Burger was pretty good , maybe a little small, fries were average, completely hard. Overall experience is great, although a little overpriced.

This place rocks, filled with locals and a few tourist that find it. It's small and quaint, service very friendly and helpful. But now listen, for a place known for their burgers, I would almost never even consider getting a fried chicken sandwich - but we read other reviews about it and decided to try it. Oh Lord it's good,... More

Book if your coming at a busy time to avoid disappointment. However you won't be dissatisfied coming here. Food, Beer, Atmosphere & Service are great. Only a bit of local knowledge would get you here. Don't miss out, come and enjoy.

I ended up to this restaurant after a long day walking around.Dinner time ! The place was busy but at the same time calm and relaxing. I think there was no music that night. The selection of burgers is great. They offer porc ones too, i sticked to the beef. I ordered a blue cheese burger which was delicious. I... More

Description
American Burgers & Cocktails, Czech Brews and Good Times!

In 2010 husband and wife team Dean and Lori opened The Tavern, the first bar & restaurant of its kind in the Czech Republic for fans of classic American diner-style burgers, cocktails and a great selection of Czech craft brews all served up by the friendliest staff in town!

Choose from our menu of mouth-watering, sizzling fresh-grilled 100% chuck burgers dripping with cheese and homemade sauces on our own toasted butter-buns, or try the crispy buttermilk-brined Southern Fried Chicken Sandwich, our award-winning BBQ Smoked Pulled Pork,* or zesty Chili-Cheddar Fries – but be sure to save room for Lori’s Bourbon Pecan Pie or a slice of Salted Caramel Vanilla Cheesecake!

At both The Tavern and our sister restaurant U Kurelu, we offer creative and classic American bar fare and welcome everyone into lively, fun neighborhood joints filled with crankin’ tunes and smiling folks. Please swing by for some delicious food and drinks and share some good times with friends!

Come hungry, leave happy and y’all come back now! Ya hear?
