Any craft beer lover MUST stop here at least once while you’re in Prague. The staff is highly knowledgeable and generous with their service and education of customers. The craft beer scene in the Czech Republic has taken off significantly over the past several years,...and the level of quality is fantastic. Everything U Kunstatu serves is made locally! Sour beers (mostly kettle soured) and hazy IPAs have gained a lot of popularity lately, but the long held traditions in the region of making excellent lagers still holds true in the local craft scene and are well represented on the menu. Bonus cool fact: the whole place is in the ground floor of one of the oldest buildings in Prague, with parts dating to the 12th century. Apparently the Roman foundations are still visible in the cellar.More

Located in Old Town down a side street, this establishment has a great selection of many different styles of beers and other beverages. You can sit inside or out in a nice beer garden area. We enjoyed chatting with the staff and they know a...lot about beer. Venture downstairs for a look at Praha architecture from the 12th century. I highly recommend a visit or two during your stay.More

My girlfriend and I went for a drink after dinner to U Kunstatu, a place we had discovered a few years ago. They have some indoor space and a very large outdoor terrace, a wide selection of beers, ciders and a few other drinks, and...some typical Czech bar food (not my cup of tea). We ordered an IPA from the tap and a bottled cider. Both were extremely refreshing and delicious, staff was particularly friendly and efficient and we overall had a very good time, despite the chilly weather. After paying, the bartender told us to go downstairs to check out the cellar of the building, which apparently is the second oldest in Prague. Prices are okay, a bit steep for some beers and in general higher than your average Czech bar, but you pay a premium for the central location I suppose. In any case, if you love craft beers this is definitely a bar you have to visit.More

Possibly a nice place. But they did not let us have a table in the patio. Telling that every single table is booked. Good luck! Be a bit more creative

Good selection of about 8 Czech craft beers on tap, and an excellent selection of tens of different beers in the fridge. Staff is friendly. Location off the beaten path and chilled. Definitely recommend a visit.

Lovely rainy Sunday afternoon spent with a 6 beer sampler! We both chose the style and range of beers and we weren’t disappointed! Light Lagers, dark lagers and porters were. diverse and delicious! Sat at the bar - staff were attentive but not in your...face! Make a detour.... worth it!More

This brewhouse is located in an alley in the old town. Interior decoration is quite plain. I can imagine sitting on the courtyard would be amazing in a warmer weather. We tried two sets of beer samplers, each with six glasses and then voted each...sample. Fruity beers were not very beer-like to our taste and pale lagers got the highest score. It's wise to limit the samples with six because we were confused with too many options. A little bit pricey for Prague, but worth it.More

This is a great place to get a full-scope taste of the Czech beer scene. I recommend getting a flight tasting and telling the server what type of beer you like and they will hook you up. Every beer I tried, I liked. Totally worth...the price. Great atmosphere as well!More

Excellent cheese plate and hummus with beer tasting. We highly recommend the 24 Double porter and the Cherry porter if you like dark beers!

One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the
