It's about 400m from the National Gallery's Trade Fair Palace. After a few hours of looking at the massive art collection there, we just wanted an easy lunch that was accessible to a vegetarian. Bistro 8 was perfect. It's on a street that parallels Dukelskych Hrdinu (where the trams run), so walk uphill a block from near the Strossmeyerovo tram stop. Very cute place, seems to attract a lot of university students. Breakfast all day plus salads, coffee, tea, and some alcoholic beverages. We had eggs and a Caesar salad. Food is only a bit above average, but service is super-friendly and value is terrific.

This came recommended the evening before by a local. There’s two not so far apart so that made for a sat nav debacle. Excellent choice of food and you can eat on the street or inside. Coffee is excellent and the big breakfast called the lumberjack was full of flavour and goodness. My GF had the shakshuka. She makes this alot at home and was really impressed with flavour and portions. I’ll be eating here again.

Very nice cafe bistro for your morning breakfast. Food was great with brilliant service!
Would recommend this place to anyone as they do a variety of breakfast options.
All I would say is the rear room could do with a touch up of paint and TLC. The place would be perfect then!

My wife and I visited Bistro 8‘s (Vinohrady) for brunch. The atmosphere is great and very authentic, the waitress extremely polite and attentive, and the food just great!
Great selection of milk alternatives, the cappuccino with oatmilk was just amazing!

I went twice in a row in October and enjoyed fantastic vegetarian meals both times. Savoury pie and cake the first time. Soup and vegetarian lasagna the second time. It is a warm and welcoming place with tasty food

I went for a brunch with my friends during our Prague trip, and I would say this is a place you MUST eat at!
The staff is really nice, and will help you to understand the concept and how to order/choose.
The food is delicious, prices are more than fair and the plates are really classy and pretty!
The place is also really awesome! We had such great time.

We stayed in a hotel near by the bistrot and we went there for breakfast: I loved it! Homemade cakes, pastries and cookies, so many different coffee... And everything we eaten was very good! The staff was really kind and friendly! The atmosphere was cozy and informal: highly recommended!

I was traveling with my friends and we find this bistro in a touristic guide and it was a reaaaaally good idea to go in it !
It’s delicious, beautiful and the bistro is so cute ! Employes are very nice with a huge smile and everything is good ! My stomac told me thanks to eat that !

Very popular place with locals. Lots of choice of tasty dishes. My companion has celiac so gluten free was a must and we coincidently ordered the same delicious local dish. Very friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Seemed very popular with local people - always a good sign in my book. Very reasonable prices. It’s in area 7 so a fair step away from the old town (area 1) but close to where we were staying and I’d recommend you take a trip there.
