About
The brewery and restaurant U Tri ruzi in Prague is situated in the historical center on Husova street close to the famous Charles Bridge and Old Town Square. Right after your entering the feeling of the unique atmosphere of an Old-Prague brewery will overcome you. The feeling is intensified by wall-paintings by artists Jiri Bernard and Pavel Jakl who drew and painted pictures about the history of brewing in the Czech lands as the rich history of the house (the brewery U Tri ruzi).

At walking distance from the famous Carl's bridge you can find this little brewery where you can have a relaxed dinner after a long visit in town. It was suggested by a beer-fan friend so I came with lots of expectation: both the beers and...the food were very good. Don't expect a long list of choices as the traditional Czech cuisine is not so inventive and because the beers are produced by them but you won't be disappointed. I like cozy places rather then big crowded ones and I will definitely return on my next visit in Prague. Friendly staff was definitely an added value.More

Lovely brewery, bar and restaurant in old town. You can come in for the beer and sit on the tall bar tables or have a meal on the bigger restaurant tables (there’s more room upstairs too) First day we had the Goulash served in a...bread bowl, wow, the fresh horseradish really spiced this delicious meal! I think we visited here nearly every day just to try different food! Oh and the beer is awesome! We went through all three combinations of Pilsner, Red and Dark. Definitely recommend.More

I think the best chef works here in Prague, the food was just amazing! The servers are very friendly and the atmosphere with the wall paintings are incredible! The local beers are extremely tasty, I loved it even though I’m not a beer person! Cheers!

We've been here twice out of 3 days in Prague and would go again and again till I've tried every single option on the menu. We had confit duck, goulash and pork ribs. All really delicious. Portions are big enough, priced reasonably. The place itself...is also nice. There's an upstairs we didn't see, downstairs has a pub feeling, very cozy. Service is good. Definetly a repeat.More

On our 4th day in Prague, having had a really good experience with the bars and restaurants, we ventured into here on recommendation of my guide book. We were refused as there was no room.for us. 70% of the bar tables were 'reserved' Got very...short attention from the barman. Clearly we were not welcome. Disappointing bar. Avoid. There are other better places to spend your hard earned.More

Pork knuckle looks very impressive, but it only how it looks. Taste was not so great, meat was tough, there was a lot of fat, and that smell.. oh. It's not worth 540 kc. If you wanna try classic "veprevo koleno", you can try it...at "U Fleku", it is not so big there, but taste is much better. Burger meat was tough too. So it is very pricy tourist attraction, not real Czech food. But the beer was goodMore

Stumbled across this place at lunch today. We were skeptical as we know old town is a tourist trap. However we were pleasantly surprised! Goulash was delicious and my partner had ribs and he thoroughly enjoyed them. We would definitely recommend this place

Nice place with great paintings on the walls. Decent range of good quality beers at a reasonable price, the food looked great. Well worth a visit.

Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the
medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is
bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický
square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle
in the background, is probably the most beautiful
square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere
