Only stayed for one beer, but it was a great drink and experience sat by the bar. Reasonable price and staff were friendly, would definitely come back to try the other beers.

One of my favourite pubs in Prague ,a pub that brews it's own beer and offers great service is U Tri Ruzi. I love the look of this pub ,a very cool looking serving bar ,brew vats prominently on display ,cool wall art ,stained glass...features wonderful decor and furnishings and housed in a great looking building dating from the 15th century . My twin brother Stephen and I were in Prague in the run up to Christmas ,with heavy snow fall we trudged through the thick snow and luckily managed to grab a table in this pub were we ordered their own brewed Vienna red beer ,these were served in tip top condition ,we chilled out and took in the great pub we were in while sipping our beers . This beer was excellent ,rich, malty and very easy to drink ,a quality drink in a quality pub,it was just so good being in such an historic pub and sat with my twin brother Stephen who is the best beer companion in the world. We really enjoyed our beers in here and the great vibe so much so that we ended up staying for another beer each before we moved on and as on every other visit to here we had a great time. U Tri Ruzi is easy to locate along Husova. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday,11am till 11pm. Well worth checking out if you're in the area.More
Opposite the Dominican Hotel. Excellent beer and pork ribs. Paul and other staff very nice and helpful
It's not that the food wasn't good, but for a place recccommended on every blog or city guide, I don't really see what all the fuss is about. The duck leg was fine, but not excellent, and I expected to find on the menu a...few Czech dishes that weren't there. They do have an impressive choice of beers, though, and the Vienna Red was very good. The first time we went, we where not so amiably told that we could only order to drink, because the kitchen was closed. It was 20:43 and every other place nearby was still open and serving dinner.More
The place is really nice. It gives really local vibes, with really nice beers, really nice food (reaaally nice) and extremely welcoming staff. The guys working there were helpful and made suggestions about what to order. We had the goulash which was served in a...bread and it was extremely tasteful. Tried three different beers and the dish with the pasta. Well doneMore
Very centric place, good atmosphere, great beer and tasty food. The only thing is that they DO NOT accept credit cards, quite suspicious that a well known restaurant in the centre of one of the main touristic cities in Europe does not accept credit card,...we had to use one ATM (tourist traps) to have dinner.More
Its been ages since I was in Prague and this is one of the places I always try to get back to. Good location near the Old town square but reasonably priced and they make their own beer here. Its arguably the best beer in...Prague but that's my opinion and I am sure could be argued about for ages! Since I was last here there is more seating here upstairs, (good loo also). I like the lager so I had a few of those, then went for the beef cheek which was very tender. Good waitress too! The service is good, but maybe a bit more like you would get at a pub rather than a five star hotel.More
Just visited the place and leaved ten minutes later. We asked on the ground floor if they accept credit cards and they said no despite the fact that outside the place it said differently! Let me mention that two days ago there was also a...sign that said “Today cash only” which we understand can happen. However we proceeded to the first floor (restaurant) and asked another waitress again and she said that they accept cards normally no matter what the guy on the ground floor said! So we made our order, the drinks came first and two minutes later the waitress announced that they no longer accept credit cards! We immediately asked her to cancel our order and she answered back with attitude that there is an ATM across the street (which implies that you have to withdraw cash paying also a good fee). We replied that we left our drink as they were and we were not willing to pay in cash and she ironically answered us “you don’t have card to withdraw money or you do not have euros? Good luck with that”. Let us remind her that even even in the Christmas markets they accept cards and nowhere else did we have such a problem and that it is almost 2023 so good luck to this brewery with their rudeness to their customers and technology.More
Very unpleasant dinner, with my husband, during a 2-days tour of this fantastic city. From the very beginning, it seemed like we weren't welcomed at all, like they didn't want us to sit. Our waiter was particularly arrogant. Two of the dishes we ordered from...the menu were not available and the food we ate was definitively below standard. Before leaving, just because we thought that the cash register was downstairs (at the main entrance), while we were approaching the stairs, the waiter rudely accused us of wanting to leave without paying, unacceptable! To conclude, they refused us to pay by card, only cash allowed..in a modern city where you can pay by card even at the Christmas markets, this was the last surprise.. the only positive aspect: the singer, who entertained us with his splendid voice and guitar during the dinner.More
I wandered in solo. I think maybe they weren't sure about seating me because some tables were reserved, but since it was pretty early (17:50ish) I think they took pity on me since I'm crippled and by myself. Or maybe I'm grossly over analyzing. The...food is quick, the staff is nice. I enjoyed my dinner although the potato dumpling things could sink the titanic. Heavy and starchy. Not what I'm used to, but really not for me. I can recommend this as a safe place to eat, but not a must-eat. May depend on the crowd, etc. Lots of places in the old town, so I wouldn't go out of my way but definitely satisfying.More
We got there for the dinner after a long walk and it was a very good choice. Kind staff and good beers! Unfortunately the pork knuckle wasn’t available but the goulash was a spicy and very tasty.
Had some lovely late lunch in here and sat on the first floor which was quiet! We both ordered the Cheeseburgers which were amazing!
Terrible service with an extremely arrogant waiter. I immediately realised after paying by card that they significantly overcharged me and they refused to issue me a refund. Why bother with this place when there are far better and more honest establishments in Prague to choose...from.More
Great beer and food. Excellent staff near Old Square Prague. Great atmosphere. Highly recommend!!!!!
The beer made here is excellent. The food is very nice too. I didn't have any issues with the service, on the contrary the guys were very helpful with answering my "touristic" questions although the place was full
