I specifically came because of the TripAdvisor recommendation. There are six beers to choose from, as well as cider and a non-alcoholic beer. After reading the descriptions (in three languages, including English), I opted for the Monastic Special. This was a very tasty, malty beer, which we don't really see in the US. I also had the Brewery Hamburger, which... More

We came here after a recommendation from a local tour guide and we were not disappointed. Fabulous atmosphere, food to die for and my partner enjoyed several pints of different craft ales - the best he's tried on his trip so far. My only disappointment is I didn't order the 'beer meat board' as leaving the venue I saw another... More

My wife and I ate here on a rainy Prague evening partially because of good reviews on line and partially because it was right around the corner from the Unitas Hotel where we were staying. I have to say that the beer is great. I started off with a lager and finished the meal with one of the monastic specials.... More

Popped in for lunch on our first day in Prague. Can highly recommend the Wild Boar pasta dish, fantastic. And the Beer (particularly the American Pale Ale) was wonderful. Came in every day, and will return.

Cool taverna. Was recommended this place by the hotel we stayed in as they brew their own beer. Food was ok. Beer was great, small selection but I recommend the APA and the dark beer. The waiter was great he spoke English with a slight Canadian accent (said that so you'd know who he was, can't remember his name sorry)... More

U Tri Ruiz is a traditional Czech hostelry set in the heart of Prague old town serving local dishes, but accompanied with a select variety of delightful specialist beers from its own local micro brewery. The food menu is typical rustic Czech alongside an alternative selection of tasty, well priced local tapas dishes to accompany the beer. Despite not making... More

Found this pub by chance. Ordered the Beer Board and sausages and paté. It was a amazing feast we were just not expecting. Resturant standard food for the price of a rubbish sandwich in a UK pub. Great beer too.

Just popped in for a quick beer and to rest weary legs. We sat upstairs which has its own bar and great paintings on the walls. Nice beer that matched its menu description. Great attentive service. Only disappointment was not being able to buy a beer glass as they were running low.

Description
The brewery and restaurant U Tri ruzi in Prague is situated in the historical center on Husova street close to the famous Charles Bridge and Old Town Square. Right after your entering the feeling of the unique atmosphere of an Old-Prague brewery will overcome you. The feeling is intensified by wall-paintings by artists Jiri Bernard and Pavel Jakl who drew and painted pictures about the history of brewing in the Czech lands as the rich history of the house (the brewery U Tri ruzi).

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
