You can´t say about many places that the first visit was as good as the first one. I am more than happy that this place is still unforgettable. Go there for pancakes, gallettes or just a juice and you ĺl be satisfied at all.
I just moved to Prague a few months ago and really enjoy my first wine experience in the Czech Republic. I remember the name of the wine was Marlot which impressed me a lot. Great atmosphere and staff as well.
We had a great time in Cafe Giraffe, their menu consists of some typical Czech meals as well as some italian and other european cuisines, i believe everyone will find his favourite. Besides that they have good selection of wines and amazing czech beer, i...was really impressedMore
I booked a table for 6 and mentioned we were celebrating a birthday. When we arrived the waitress just pointed to 2 tables for 4. We saw an empty table for 8 in a quiet corner and I asked if we could sit there as...the tables she showed us were two small tables (not together). She just said that we couldn't sit there (although there was no reservation sign and they let only 2 people sit there during the evening). We then went and moved the two small tables together and sat down.
The service we received was quite poor and I was very disappointed that the table wasn't prepared for us. I worked in restaurants abroad in the past and we'd always make an effort (especially for special occasions). Here we received a cold 'Hi' and were directed to 2 separate tables which we had to move together so that my family could sit together.
On the bright side, the place looks fantastic and the food was delicious. I'd especially recommend the mix grill and halloumi skewer. Well done to the chefs!More
This type of café is my favourite-calm and nice. Sometimes I work here with a cup of great coffee and a slice of delicious cake. Or me and my friends go to the lunch. Food is always fresh and tasty, stuff is professional. There is...nothing to criticize.More
Due to the lack of alternatives I spent three evenings in a row in the restaurant and I was happy every time. The menu offers quite a range without being overloaded. The galettes are delicious and the soup of the day is always worth to...be ordered. One evening I had Gnocchi with goat cheese, rucola and dried tomatoes. Was a great meal. So definitely a recommendation.More
The restaurant locates by the university more over the only one in its area with really tasty food. For that reason, the restaurant generally full and you need a reservation. Though the food is good, The staffs have lack of smile.
