I came here for Sunday brunch the day before starting a week of teaching in CZU. Lovely relaxed atmosphere, excellent food and efficient service. Prices also seem very reasonable.
Instead of a beautiful and neat style, this ends it. The service looks sour and is very, very uncomfortable and especially slow. We have used this cafe for a very long time and have sadly watched its slow but steady decline. Our last visit was accompanied by unhelpful surly staff who make you feel very unwanted as a customer. The food, which should have been hot, was...served almost cold and with little thought about presentation. Complaining about one of the dishes led to the staff making us feel like we should be grateful for being allowed to eat there. So, after 20 years, we will not be going back ever again.More
Very nice environment, very good cuisine. However, they close the kitchen at 20:30, you have the feeling that you are not welcome. There's no pride in the establishment from the staff. They do not accept credit cards!
Dirty and rude staff. Would better prepare your food at home and eat in a park. Was a very bad experience
Both times I've eaten here the food has been tasty and reasonably priced. I have ordered numerous takeout coffees or other hot drinks and they are always done right.
We tasted 11 cakes, 8 of them were outright disgusting, including rotten fruit on top. The service was unfriendly and extremely slow. For over an hour nobody took care of us. Our table was filled with... Instead of an apology we received a rude reply...from the owner. We were going to order wedding cakes but instead we will tell anyone who asks to avoid this place. I am the local lady:) but desribe Cafe Girafe in English:) and try to explain why is so good atmosphere right here. First - the service is amazing, I feel like home. The food( not just crepes) is good in general. I have visited Creperia...maybe 20 times and all visits absolutely fullfill my expctations.More
Itś not only creperia despite the name. I am enjoying every week the gaspacho which is the best i have ever eaten. Really perfect place and reasonable prices as well. All other dishes also good. Highly reccomended.
I am living in Prague and I am local but I haven´t been there till my middle 30´s. Honestyl I have never tried better salt pancake in Prague. Next week second round with my family. This place is absolutely hidden gem. Thanks
True, service and owner are there and very welcoming and friendly, all the time ready to help. The crepes were delicious. I liked the variety toppings (?) besides the typical galette. And the deserts i have tried on my trip to Prague right here were...awesome.More
You can´t say about many places that the first visit was as good as the first one. I am more than happy that this place is still unforgettable. Go there for pancakes, gallettes or just a juice and you ĺl be satisfied at all.
I ordered a cake from here for my sons birthday , it was superb , I can’t wait to visit and taste their delicious pastries on site as soon as I can get back to Prague
Love this place. The pancakes served either salt and sweet are delicious. Very friendly staff working there as well. Simply the best choice in Suchdol.
