Hidden behind large wooden doors this is a quality venue for beer and food. Most tables are on the ground floor but the 4 cellar roms are the best choice for a great atmosphere.
The craft beer is probably the best reason to visit here. About 10 options on tap with notes in English on each pump explaining the beer. The choice ranges from traditional type brews to one or two more off the wall concoctions.
Food is good, mainly traditional local food but with a few twists. Chicken wings, goulash ans slices of English beef were the highlights over 2 visits.
This is a very popular venue and booking in advance is recommended. If you want a table in the cellar make sure this is recorded when you book.

Our plane was delayed, so wanted a late opening bar by hotel and so glad found this place.
Beers were top form, served very well, the young lady who served was exceptionally knowledgeable, friendly and made us want to return again (which we did).
It's not a massive place but the selection of beers was really good.

We would have walked by but asked at the door and so glad we came in, what a lovely find, the bar person was really informative about the selection of beers, would recommend

I had the Bratwurst and my wife had the braised steak, both adequate and tasty, with drinks it came in under 600Kz (Less than £20 ) and I had a huge Apple Strudel After. Good service and chatty but not overbearing waiting staff

I am always in that restaurant when I'm Prague. Definitely my favorite in this city. I can recommend their own potato chips and raw beef tartar with fried bread and onion! Mniaammm....

I came here with a friend on a busy Friday night. Unfriendly personel let us sit at one of the tables after a long trial to put us off. We have waited 20 minutes for the first beer. We left after 3 beers only to realize outside that an extra beer appeared on the bill, which we didn't have. The selection of the beer is nice but I'm not coming back.

We had pork ribs and goulash. Meat was so tender falling off the bone. All washed down with local beer. Don't be put off by the unassuming entrance.

My partner and I visited this place in the evening and were licky to get a table. The place looks a bit shady on the fist glance, bit has very good, quality food and a good selection of local beers on tap.
Recomend for a quick bite or a few (or more) glasses of beer.

They have around 10 local beer on tap. Amazing pure food. Maybe it look little bit shady from outside but is really awesome. But be careful they don't accept cards

Food was not that good - Meat was chewy, pasta was tasteless and the gravy was average.
Beer was amazing.
Service was above average.
Had to literally beg them to give me a quick & early dinner as they were booked for the evening from 9pm onwards. Told them that I just wanted a quick meal, and wouldn't take more than 15 mins. After a lot of deliberation, the younger waiter convinced the boss!
Lot of locals visit the place for after-work drinks.

Restaurace Kulovy Blesk is an absolutely fantastic craft beer bar that we always make a point of visiting on any holiday we take to this most beautiful cities.
I love the look of this bar,its got that cosy lived on look that all popular bars have, eclectic decor and furnishings including the superb looking serving bar and there's plenty of seating options spread throughout this bar both inside and outside in the cool courtyard.
We were here on a Thursday evening, we got seats in the courtyard were a very pleasant member of staff greeted us warmly, after a quick study of the beers on offer I opted to have BadFlash Brewery/ Thornebridge Brewery " hoppy lager lezak " while my brother went for Volt Brewery " baterka IPA " both these beers were served in excellent condition, we just chilled out and soaked up the great vibe in this busy and bustling bar.
My beer was outstanding, a lager style beer bursting with taste,very easy to drink,a beer style I found to be particularly pleasant, my brother also gave me the thumbs up to his beer .
We both really enjoyed our beers in here and although we were only here for the one beer each before we moved on as on every other visit to here we had a great time.
Restaurace Kulovy blesk is easy to locate on Sokolska.
Opening hours are;
Monday to Sunday, Open from 5 pm.
A wonderful bar,well worth checking out if your in the area.

The service was good, and they do have some beers from e.g. 3 Fonteinen and Mikkeller. But we went here because we had been recommended this place by multiple people, only to find that the food was tasteless and the supposedly warm starter was cold when it arrived. Very disappointed with the experience as I had high expectations.

Great beer choice and tasty food. Not for dinner though. Rather to taste yummy beer and eat something. You can try some original Czech sausage. Vegetarians could also find good stuff. Vegans could have some great garlic bread (not the usual one, super tasty!).

Great pub with good food. The beer range in here is very good with bars upstairs and downstairs serving different czech microbrews.
