It was a great pub to grab dinner and drinks. The beer was good and the meal was also excellent. I really enjoyed the beef and dumplings.

Great bar friendly staff, lovely atmosphere, we had some bar snacks which were very tasty. Well worth a visit if you are looking for something less touristy
The waiter is ruined the place row meat on my table and they don’t care about not go back any more and just a place to avoid in Prague
Had it not been for the disastrous service we received, our impression would be so much better. We came as a big group and had reserved a table. It took long for us to get menues. Every time we asked our waitress for something, she...would literally roll her eyes. She seemed bothered by us and it was not very pleasant. The food was good and beer great, so its a shame we were dissed every time we ordered something. When we were leaving my colleague asked her to give our complimenta to the kitchen. She rolled her eyes so bad they are probably still in the back of her head...More
Found it by accident in one of the arcades so popped in for a drink and ended up staying the evening. Arrived about 6pm and it soon filled with groups of locals for after work drinks. Eventually had food, plate of chicken wings and a...beef salad. Lively and busy but not overwhelming so and service superb, these people are true professionals. Stopped a potential pub crawl but thoroughly enjoyable. Word of warning, beware of the absinthe.More
If you´d like to avoid the ovious tourist traps at the Venceslas Square try Hospoda Lucerna, just a few steps away from the square, on Vodickova, in the cellar of an old galleria with among other things a cinema. Hospoda Lucerna is a very rustic...restaurant, far away from white table cloths and supple servants. Here the food is substantial (and well tasing), the beer great (and cheap) and the service head-on (but friendly). And the bill won´t disturb your peace of mind... So, if you opt for a geuine Czech establishment Lucerna could be a good choice.More
We came with a group of colleagues. The location is nice. The food was OK, but the service was very very slow. In the meantime, we were promptly served liters of beer.
This little gem has been on my visit list since I first went to Prague in 2007. Consistantly good food served quickly at a great price. The wait staff are friendly and helpful and its nice to eat with the locals. Lunch for the two...of us with wine came to 15 quid. Give it a try.More
Went here because it was recommended by a friend and it was perfect for our group. I wasn’t too hungry so I got a salad and potato soup and it was actually one of the yummiest Cesar dressings I’ve had and the drinks were a...reasonable price as well.More
This cellar restaurant is hidden at the end of the Lucerne shopping passage (ie. arcade) just a few steps down Stepanska from Wenceslas square. We enjoyed the hearty meals and inexpensive prices. Good Czech beer and basic food choices such as a kielbasa style sausage...in a spicy sauce. We especially enjoyed the goulash soup-we had it two nights in a row.More
This authentic Czech pub is just a few steps from busy"Václavák" square. And it's worth to visit. Huge range of draft beers, tasty food ( especially lunch menu), or if you'd rather like have just a bite&beer. All these for very reasonable price, based on...area. Mouthwashing Pilsner Urquell from tank is must try. Service always very attentive, flexible and polite. We always pop in, when visiting Prague. Highly recommended this genuine Czech" hospoda".More

I visited the restaurant with my friends. We had a wonderful time! I ordered: Beef cheeks braised in red wine with roasted root vegetables and fresh herbs, whipped mashed potatoes - which was fabulous food in combination with the Czech beer. I highly recommend the...place.More
Just poor food taste. You can get much more delicious food for even cheaper price on the same street.
Good open beer hall with tank Pilsner Urquell. Open late so a good place to stop for a late night beer.
