I went to this restaurant with two Prague friends. Although I live in Veleslavin - only a 12-minute taxi ride from the restaurant - I had no idea that it existed. The winding streets out to Cicovice left me doubtful, but when you pass through...the gate into the property, the feeling of the country inn is welcoming. The service was fantastic. Some of the best that I have had in Prague. Friendly, helpful, positive. Always there to fill an empty glass - but not intrusive. And the food. Well. There is an ipad menu in English and a board on the wall in Czech. I went for the lamb tenderloin with spinach and potatoes. OMG. It is rare to get lamb in Prague - and this was simply perfect. The other meals at our table were also big hits. The menu is a good balance between meat and veg. They do traditional food "with a modern twist" - and there is a lot of game on the menu. Although thinking that I would show some self-control, I went for the desserts. I had the lime cheesecake - and it was just fantastic. Ending the meal with a decaf expresso made for the perfect evening. The prices were very reasonable. We will definitely be back.More

I was very disappointed with this restaurant. This was my first and the last visit. The prices are exremely high and the quality and styling of the food really does not correspond to the price. For such a money, you can have more delicious food...in different Prague restaurants. The only nice was the interior of the restaurant.More

This place was one of the best in my life. Although I did not like the style the service is done, all was settled by the food quality! Really something extraordinary! Ok, a bit more expensive but worth spending the money there!

This place is probably about 15-20 minutes outside of Prague and very difficult to find, unless you're with a Czech native (which we were). The ambiance is unbelievably nice, especially in the evening when candles are lit and the lights are turned down. Food is...excellent. Their soups were outstanding and the entrees were delicious, especially pork and poultry. Everything is written on a blackboard, but they're nice enough to bring over an I-Pad with an English version. Authentic Czech food, great service and a nice little field trip (and I mean field trip) outside the city.More

Just back from a business meeting stay, it's so far from Holiday Inn et all....Rustic, cosy, superb real food, good wine and beer, friendly staff...... Decor feels so authentic and gives a unique atmosphere. If you want away from plastic standard boring hotel chains please...try the place, if your business users it's 9km from the airport so your team can meet, work and then relax!More

Had a two single bed rooms for one night, the restaurant and service was five stars, food was incredible, reception desk very friendly and helpful , but the rooms are very small and and the furniture should be thrown to the dump including the beds.

Another hidden gem discovered! Just outside Prague, not too far from the airport...surprise! Meticulously restored with great care to create atmosphere a century ago. Hearty Czech dishes and great local beer. Good service. Reasonably priced. Definitely worth finding. Make reservations, book early!
