We were hoping to go to U Pravdu but we didn’t have a booking so we had to go searching for somewhere else. We wanted to try traditional Czech food. As we were looking at the menu for Bohemian Goose there was a lady outside who was a local tourist guide. She said it was perfect for local cuisine and that they had recently changed the menu and it was even better.
We decided to give it a go!
The place is massive and modern. There weren’t too many people in but as we were all sat in one area it felt like a really good atmosphere. The waiter and waitress were so welcoming and really helpful.
As planned we went traditional and we did not regret it! My husband had the pork knuckle with the mustard and honey sauce! It was amazingly presented on a board with a mixture of sides! It was enormous and very delicious! I went for the goulash with a side of grilled vegetables! Both tasted fantastic! We swilled it all down with a lovely bottle of Palava white wine….and a beer!
This experience was exactly what we were looking for and would highly recommend it to others! If we were staying longer we would definitely go back again.

Enjoyed two evening meals at this atmospheric restaurant after finding it by accident when walking around one evening. The staff (different both evenings) were friendly, spoke excellent English, attentive and had a good sense of humour despite being very busy. The food was traditional Czech and delicious (we had goose/duck one evening and duck/pork another). The beer was different and really enjoyable (I really enjoyed the cherry beer) and for Brits exceptional value.
The bar tap is from another time and the brewing vats add atmosphere to the experience.
We thouroughly enjoyed both meals and would recommend this restaurant as a place to go.

The restaurant and of course the staff welcomed us with an original atmosphere and very friendly.
Since we weren't really hungry, we both ate a salad (different ones) that we liked and one or the other beer - also very delicious.
At some point we had some appetite and ordered the “Ermine” cheese, which we both loved.
We hadn't seen each other in a long time, had a lot to tell and were the last guests at some point.
Nevertheless, the service continued to be very attentive and friendly.
We really enjoyed the evening 👍👍👍

We have family dinner, classic meal without more, unpleasant limit service.
During the payment the waiter informs us that the restaurant does not take the cards while it is posted at the entrance, we left the next day and did not see us meet again with cash, we suffered a bad time the waiter became very unpleasant, to remain polite... asking for cash only very strongly.
In short we found a distributor and settled.
On the way out we met other tourists who told us that he had to pay in cash, in Euro since they had but without knowing the exchange rate.
To see reviews on other site this restaurant is to flee.
It's not in my habit to pick up negative reviews but now it's not possible.

My husband and I went to this pub while on holiday in Prague. Very nice place, good beer. However, they got my order wrong. When we pointed this out, instead of redoing the dish I was told "but isn't this okay with you anyway? Come on, I'll buy you coffee". So, since I thought it would be thrown away anyway and I would be sorry, I replied that it was fine anyway. We didn't have coffee anyway, since we don't drink it. After paying, looking at the receipt and converting it into euros, we realized that the amount was much higher than what we expected to spend. Oh yes, because the dish that was mistakenly prepared for me cost around €20 more than the one I had ordered (and I didn't even finish it since it included a generous side dish that the dish I had ordered didn't include). So, the beer is good, the meat is good but it seems to me that they take advantage of it a bit with the tourists.

It had been recommended to us by a tourist guide and having seen almost all of the clearly positive reviews, we trusted it... but it was a mistake! The location, located in one of the most beautiful spots in Prague, deserves a lot for its originality, really not bad. Excellent craft beer. unfortunately the staff is not up to their task, confusing, listless and incapable of understanding their customers: if you have numbered the dishes and then do not understand what it refers to, neither the number called up nor the visible photo of the reference dish in your menu, then change jobs. The meat of both the shank, the goose leg and the duck leg had the classic flavor of meat not cooked on the same day and, among other things, it was dry and stringy. We spread a pitiful veil on the contours. Sorry but luckily there is much better in Prague. Not recommended by us!!

We were very disappointed by this restaurant because after having regularly booked and received confirmation by email of our dinner reservation for 8.00 pm, once we arrived at the restaurant at 8.05 pm they told us that the restaurant had just closed. kitchen and that we could leave. The owner / manager was also very rude and did not give us convincing explanations. We advise everyone against booking this restaurant.

Visited Bohemia Goose 3 days ago on a short break to Prague. I enjoyed the shredded goose burger as it tasted nice but the food was bordering on cold when it was served. Pleasant staff to greet you but our server didn't know what the different beers were on our beer tasting platter. Still gave 10 per cent service tip because that's what you do. I would recommend a visit if your in the area if you want goose or duck for supper but don't go out of your way.

We waited about 1 hour 15 minutes to be served. The whole room was waiting for the kitchens, some customers even left because they were tired of waiting to be served.
It's a shame because basically, the pork shank was quite good (even if a little cold, which is a shame after 1h15 of waiting). Also had a perch fillet which was good but nothing special.
The waitress was pleasant, quite annoyed by the waiting of customers.
Fortunately, we were not in a hurry but I would not recommend because of too poor kitchen management.

If you plan to go to Prague, then consider to reserve your dinner in this excellent place!
One of our best culinary experiences in Prague! This place is a combination of brewery and restaurant, with specialty in goose and duck dishes .
We have enjoyed every moment visiting and dining in this well designed restaurant: atmosphere, finger-licking good dinner, variety of draft beer (Bohemi Goose Cherry was my favorite!) and live music.
Absolutely reasonable price for fine dining restaurant!
I hope to dine there again next time when visiting Zlata Praha again!

The service was slow. The food was semi cooked, store bought and tasteless. We ordered several things and had to wait more than an hour. When the food came it was obvious that you can make this food for les than 5 min. I ordered spicy sausage it was not spicy and it was cold from the fridge.

We went here on our last evening in Prague hoping to enjoy some authentic Czech cuisine and beers- the place is both a brewery and restaurant.
We sat in a booth but soon moved because the table behind us was incredibly loud.
Men (unfortunately Brits) yelling about their salaries, bonuses and altogether how wonderful they were, trying to impress a couple of women and a dog who had joined them.
The food was ok although the foie gras was almost absent and the gingerbread certainly was. The Prague Ham was pleasant but nothing special.
We shared a half duck which was fine as were the side accompaniments.
I said something to one of the men who stood next to our table shouting at his comrades and he apologised. The noise died down for a while but then it increased to such a level that a couple who was yet to order walked out. We paid our bill and left, our waiter apologised for the noise but it was really up to the manager to deal with it, which he failed to do.
All in all an awful evening.

A Pub more than a Restaurant as such but not bad at all.
The establishment specializes in Geese and Ducks and offers good and huge Burgers.
We are here on food from Bistro, we appreciate the setting and we saw the Kitchens:-)
The Staff is not a transcendental welcome and just does the job, without insisting on TIPS, good point!
An honest and somewhat original meal for those who want to share a goose or a whole Duck for 2/4/6 people:-)
However, it is 2024, Cash Only should be banned when will our EU finally legislate on these old practices?

The decor is beautiful, the beer is good.
On the other hand, the kitchen is average. For example, I ordered a goulash soup and got ground beef in it (usually the meat is in pieces in this dish).
In addition, I found the Awards relatively high compared to other restaurants with the same type of cuisine.

Good restaurant for goose and duck dishes, although it also has other dishes as well. The atmosphere was pleasant, the service ok, the price a little high as compared to other places we tried. As an appetizer I ordered the duck liver pate with pear jam. I enjoyed the patè, but less the pear jam. My husband ordered the Prague ham from the bone served with horseradish and found it to be very good. My main dish was half a roast duck with different flavored dumplings, red and white sauerkraut and cranberries. The duck was excellent, the dumplings too. The sauerkraut and cranberries were less to my liking. My husband ordered the baked goose leg accompanied with dumplings, and red and cabbage and cranberries like mine. He felt the goose was good, but not special. All in all, a good restaurant with pretty good food, but also the most we paid for a meal in Prague.
