We visited the restaurant twice during our visit due to its location opposite the hotel. The staff were really nice and friendly. Steak was great. Carbonara was ok but cold and the consume soup was greasy and was sent back.

The meal took 1 hour to be served. Lots of meals are sold out. The food is okay generally. But the service is very worst, the waitress with short hair is showing the face like she cant hear anything and dont wanna serve you.

As soon as we arrived in Prague, the restaurant was close to the hotel we had chosen and at 8.30pm we didn't really want to look. We had a good time: fish & chips with two types of fish, pork ribs cooked to perfection, perfect fillet, good pork medallions with vegetables, French fries (mixed with sweet potatoes, really good). Little choice in desserts. Prices normal. As a first dinner it went well!

We had experienced the traditional new years day firework display and looking for somewhere to dine en-route back to our hotel, we came upon this restaurant. Browsed the menu outside and quick look inside and we thought we had found the ideal place. We were quickly seated but then waited a good 15 minutes for drinks service. Another 10 minutes for drinks to arrive then the waitress disappeared for another 10 minutes before taking our food order. 1 of our choices were off the menu so quickly settled for 2nd choice. 30 minutes passed before the food arrived upon which 2 had to be sent back as they were lukewarm. We had ordered 2 sides of different chips. These didn't arrive, so on advising the waiter we were told he hadn't thought we ordered them (despite him asking if we would like them as starters) and then said that they were 'out of chips'. We really are not ones to complain, however, as the waitress asked if anything was wrong (the pork shoulders were in places inedible therefore a lot was 'left') we advised everything we had experienced. The only credit to the establishment was they gave a 10% discount and also a voucher for a further 10% for another visit. Needless to say, the 2nd visit never happened!

My husband had the goulash, said it was good. I had the steak, and it was ok. Our server was nice to us, but very very rude to an Asian family that came in. When we got the bill, we saw we were charged for a beer and something else. Another server said the beer was incorrect, but because I had french fries the other charge was appropriate. When I ordered she said and 1 side, silly me thought by saying that it was included. Ketchup is extra.

Friendly staff but it’s proximity to the nearby Irish pub may bring in a varied crowd of families to loud groups of stag parties. Large selection I had the double size ribeye and my wife chose the single ribeye. Meat was very tender and cooked to the way we ordered. Great value my steak was about £23 that would have been about £35-40 in the UK . Again beer as per usual in Prague was very good.

I saw this place whilst in a taxi. So I looked it up and the reviews were good so I booked a table at short notice which was not an issue. The menu makes your mouth water just looking at it! Drinking pink prosecco with added frozen raspberries (I use blueberries at home but this was better) we ordered some fries, this was a mixture of sweet potato as well as regular potatoes. A triumph! Perfectly crispy and tasty served with a mild spicy mayonnaise. So nice we ordered another bowl to accompany our steak. I don't know what kind of magician the chef is, but OMG, best steak I've had in years!! We ate here on our last night as well!! Absolutely recommend 100%!!! The staff were lovely and not intrusive.

We ordered the ribeye steak which unfortunately was awful. This surprised us given the name of the restaurant / it being a ‘steak house’ you might expect them to serve a good steak, however this couldn’t be further from the truth. The word I would use to describe the steaks we were served is ‘wet’… They had absolutely no sear to them and no flavour with a wet/sloppy texture. I’m truly baffled how they’ve managed to screw up a steak so badly. It also seemed like the staff were in a bit of a rush, as the server barely gave us a chance to finish our meal before taking our plates away. Really disappointing experience, and I would not recommend.

Went here for dinner with my husband. On arrival we were immediately welcomed by the waiting staff. Very comfortable surroundings and nice and cosy. Such a change from the UK were you need a warm jumper and scarf. Its quite rustic with pictures of the titanic on the walls. Very clean and comfortable. I ordered the soup of the day which was delicious, followed by a ribeye steak cooked to perfection. I like mine medium rare and i wasn’t disappointed. It came with French fries and a small salad both well seasoned and delicious. The waiting staff were very friendly and prompt to bring the food and drinks. Price wise about average for the neighbourhood. I would highly recommend and will definitely return.

Honestly the best fillet steak I have ever had! The chips were gorgeous too! Probably our nicest meal in Prague and most reasonably priced, 2 mains, 2 desserts, 2 beers and 3 soft drinks all for £60 - would highly recommend this little restaurant

Visited with my family recently - the food was lovely - I had the steak tartare and a grilled sausage, my son had ‘the best fish and chips he’s ever had’ consisting of battered salmon, which was nice. The chicken broth was nice too. Although we thought it was a little overpriced as not in the very busy centre of Prague, we had a very pleasant experience thanks to the attentive staff.

Very friendly staff looking after your needs. Medallions of beef with pepper sauce on a bed of vegetables was lovely. The ribeye steak with mushroom sauce was tender and tasty. House wine acceptable. The price was much cheaper than in Wenceslas square. Would definitely go again.

We fell over this place as it was over the road from our hotel and it’s the best place we’ve eaten at on our holiday. The staff were all so lovely and attentive. The food was beautiful and good sized portions. The chocolate cake is a chocolate melt in the middle cake and it was divine. The chicken soup is a soup for the soul , the ribs were massive and in such a nice sauce.

Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
