We were given the suggestion to try here by our air BnB hosts. Being a Saturday night I expected it to be busy so booked online. When we arrived it was very quiet. Throughout the night more customers arrived but still not busy at all.
Waiters were great and spoke to us in English.
I had the confit duck with lentils and potatoes which was delicious, though quite salty. My partner had the beef burger which he really enjoyed too.
Nice night while in Prague!

My sister originally thought of this place as our first dining location, and being normally skeptical since it was our first time eating in Czechia, I must say I got left much more than satisfied. Excellent typical dishes, alongside reinterpretations characterised by a nice french note, are going to make sure you’ll leave with a smile on your face; that’s also thanks to the excellent people who work there, that made sure all of our desires could be satisfied and even freely offered my mother two homemade desserts as she couldn’t decide what to order. On the other hand, I enjoyed probably what was the best Schnitzel I had ever encountered.
I would definitely come back if I ever find myself in Prague in the future.

It‘s an excellent restaurant!!! The atmosphere is very cosy, the food was GREAT!!! I ordered a filet mignon with potatoes gratin. They asked me how I wanted my meat and they brought it medium, exactly the way I wanted it!!! My daughter ordered the veal schnitzel with potato salad, it was also a delicious dish! The wine was very good, but the crème brûlée was a dream!!! I would prefer the creme warm, but maybe that’s how it is really supposed to be. The stuff is very polite, smiling and friendly, very professional! Last but not least it is not very expensive, actually it is not expensive at all! Guys, if you don’t visit this restaurant, you will really miss something!!!

Very very good food! The restaurant was about a 30 min walk from old Town Square but we researched best czech fruit dumplings. These plum dumplings dots not disappoint. That and the cauliflower entree was delicious. Would definitely recommend!

I’ve given this little gem a five star, here’s why. It was located round the corner from the hotel we stayed in on our city break to Prague. It came up as possible recommended restaurants on a nearby place to eat search , so round the corner we went!!
Delicious food, it calls itself a Czech traditional with French charm and both were true. The starter of pickled Brie with rye bread amazing then the main Lamb course was to die for truely superb!! Service great, two drinks each a starter between us 2 main courses all at a very reasonable price !!! Please visit you won’t be disappointed

This restaurant was across the street from our hotel and we passed it daily on our way to the metro. Waited till our last night in Prague to make reservations for dinner. Should have gone earlier. Everything was excellent. Limited menu , but that’s usually a good sign. That was the case here. Schnitzel was tasty, duck breast perfectly done and the liver pate , a very tasty appetizer. Nice selection of drinks, including wine by the bottle.

Had this place recommended by locals, what a great spot with delicious food and fantastic service. Team was so attentive and hands on, always there when you needed anything (didn’t ask for their names but on Wednesday evening there was french (I think!) gentleman and another lovely waiter.

This was just outside The center of Prague in the Karlin district, but make the journey and make sure you book.
I cannot praise the quality of the Food , service and ambiance, exceptional food well presented and just a delight to eat, all unhurried and delightfully casual but on the ball.
Personally recommend the Onion Soup, veal in butter and heavenly mama’s potato salad.
It’s just down from Kriznikova metro station.
I just wish we had found it before.

Both fantastic food and service!
We enjoyed everything we were served outdoors at this gem of a restaurant in Prague.
We are sad that we only managed to eat there once, as the food was super good in a really nice atmosphere.
The restaurant is really highly recommended!!!

We enjoyed a lovely dinner here. The food was delicious (and generous) and the service was very friendly. After over a week of fine dining on our cruise we were looking for something different and we found it. This is a great place for foodies looking for a relaxed and cool setting. Ask to sit in the back room to get a view on the kitchen.

I got a tip to visit Krystal Bistro for the plum dumplings. They were great! So great that I went back for a second visit. The second night they had blueberry dumplings, which were every bit as wonderful! Great food, nice staff, everyone speaks English very well -- You won't be disappointed!

I've said it before, a few streets of the touristy area and you find the best places. Krystal Bistro proves this once again. Very friendly staff, great cooking, wonderful atmosphere. It really feels like you're a guest and not a client. The veal schitzel is a must, as are the dumplings. Great house wine (Montepulciano, hellooo👍) too. And when leaving we got a box with pastries for tomorrow's breakfast. We are fans!!!! Thank you so much guys!

Amazing Czech - French food. I had the fruit dumplings and they were just like grandma used to make. Outside the tourist centre, we caught a tram.
