Martin was our server on our first day here and he was so lovely and really helped us by telling us his recommendations and even taught us some Czech. Really felt welcome and me and my mates have returned twice now throughout our stay. Couldn’t recommend it more!

Went in here on day leaving with all suitcases for breakfast. The lady welcomed us and gave us an area to sit where could put cases with us. She was helpful and asked a couple of questions as one veggie and wanted to superstructure a full English so the child could eat the meat and the rest for her. She obliged, nothing was too much issue. Lovely decor, comfy, welcoming, great food and pleasant staff. Thank you

Most label it as as gay friendly. I’m not gay (not that it matters). I’ve been coming here last 8 years, 3.5 of which I have a dog. They are always so friendly. Food and drinks are good. Prague is changing lately, for good and bad, and it is nice to visit one place that remains constant when it comes to quality of service. Of course, they update their menu regularly, to accomodate their customers’ tastes.

Whether breakfast, lunch or dinner this is the best gay-friendly place. Excellent food, great service and very close to gay bars and clubs. In summer they have a nice terrace where you can sit and watch the world go by.

This place has been recommended to me by the Barkeeper of the Empire Bar for breakfast and it was hilarious. Excellent service (fluent English), tasty food and very reasonably priced. Breakfast til 12 noon, very good lunch specials.

Quite a nice cafe in Vinohradska street, we found it on our way to the center. Food is delicious and service was really good! Our waitress was really friendly, smiley and attentive (such service is rare and difficult to find). Definitely recommended!

I love this place because I have tons of memories from my times living in Prague. I go there now everytime i visit Prague and this place is always this same. Staff is friendly, always spot on. Although food changed and I would say that quality is slightly lower. Or maybe it was just this one time. But anyways, great place for Sunday brunch :)

We went here for brunch, ordered orange juice, coffe, avocado bagel and "breakfast for champions" (eggs, sausages and bacon) Service was lousy, we had to wait for the food for a very long time. The sausages were a big dissapointement,as they were pretty much warmed up hot dogs. The atmosphere felt like a tacky after-work pub. The coffe was really god and the bagel was amazing.

We live in Prague and go to Celebrity regularly for lunch during the weekend. The food they serve is varied, you can have a good salad, fish or meat after a soup and a good Czech beer. The staff is really nice and easygoing. In summer, one of the only terraces on Vinohradska.

Went there for dinner last night. The guy serving acted like I was an imposition. He got clearly annoyed anytime I asked a question. I asked about the wine but he just waved at the menu and walked away. Any question from there just made him more rude. The tuna I ordered was very dry and overcooked. The menu said it was sashimi. Anyway I'm just sorry I persevered as I felt like an unwelcome overstayer rather than a customer.

First night in a new city. Don't know the language. Don't know what to order ?
Never fear. Martin was so helpful - he even added something to the menu (with 24 hours notice) just for us.
Wide choice of dishes
So good that we didn't try any other restaurants for the length of our stay

Went here for lunch, as it was close to the flat where I stayed in Vinohradsky. They have an indoor space and a great sidewalk veranda. I chose the veranda and enjoyed the people watching as much as the food. Great varied menu, with many fairly authentic Czech dishes. The offer good beer, fair prices, and friendly service, as well as many other cocktail selections. The only downside was, they have no Wifi on the veranda. That was not good, because I needed wifi! I would have ordered more and stayed longer, but I had to move on to find wifi to check on appointments. They need to install an outdoor booster for guests. I will be going back, next time in Prague.

Relaxing option for a lazy breakfast/brunch. Lovely outdoor seating area to chat with friends. Pancakes were delicious. Indoor decor very glam, would imagine this place is a fab spot for evening drinks.

I stayed in a hotel in Balbinova street so to get to Celebrity Café I turned right into Rimska street and walked upwards passing on the left Italiska and Anny Letanske, turned left into the third Blanicka street and turned next right into Vinohradska and saw the wooden terrace of Celebrity Café on the right. The 550 meter walk took about 10 minutes.
The café had a quite extensive menu with breakfasts, salads, soups, starters, main courses (beef, pork and chicken) and desserts.
I chose half a litre red wine sangria to drink and as main course chicken breast wrapped in parma ham served with red pepper mashed potatoes and emmentaller sauce. I really enjoyed my savoury food and didn’t need anything else but I fancied something sweet so I decided on hot blackberries with Chambord liqueur and vanilla ice cream.
At the start the service was quite sloppy but it improved through the evening. The bill for my whole meal was 365 CZK or just over 20 EUR. That’s good value so why not try Celebrity Café!

We visited this restaurant for my boyfriend's birthday meal after viewing its good reviews on TripAdvisor and we were so disappointed. We were greeted by a snappy server who told us we couldn't eat outside and everything we did after then seemed to frustrate all of the staff, we felt like a burden every time we spoke to a member of staff, I even caught or waiter roll his eyes at us because we asked to see a dessert menu and then didn't order one. The food and cocktails were nice but with the hostile and rude service we received we would have been better off going somewhere friendlier for my boyfriend's birthday meal. We even got charged to use the ketchup bottle which I thought was pretty disgraceful.

Vinohrady & Vršovice
Compared to the medieval heart of Prague, this neighborhood standing on former vineyards developed very quickly in the first decades of the 19th century. Today, it is the place where everyone wants to live, and those who do, are proud of it. With its amazing parks, classicist houses, terrace cafés, artsy bars, cozy restaurants, markets, and vintage and trendy shops, it is a home for people from all around the world. This area blends expats, families, bohemian students and Prague’s hip community. It is a great place for breakfast in the morning, the best lunch places and a buzzing night life. After sundown, stroll down to Vršovice, the new center of the hipster, alternative and gay scenes in Prague.
