Very nice surprise! We went to Alforno because we just walked by and it looked very nice and cozy. The staff was very nice and their service was very fast. We were expecting god food because the place was full and that is usually a...good sign but everything was exceeding expectations. We ordered a starters platter and 2 types of foccacia and as main course we ordered tagliata and beef steak in red wine. Everything was delicious. The steak was perfectly cooked, medium raw, and so soft that you could cut it with the back of the knife. We were very full but couldn't help but order dessert so we got tiramisu, which was delicious, and I really appreciated that they used the original recipe which is my favorite. Regarding the service I must mention thay it was very good and surprisingly fast, we had many extra requests like extra aceto balsamico or large salt for the steak and they served us immediately. We were very pleased by the dinning experience and we would definitely come back upon our next trip to Prague.More

When we arrived the young waitress was so rude, insisting we order straight away, we kept saying please give us 10 minutes to look at the menu. I ordered Carbonara usually in a cream sauce! This was pasta dripping in oil, I the ordered meat...ragu usually mince with pasta… I got pasta dripping in oil with 3 tiny pieces of meat. The young waitress was so rude it was embarrassing.More

At this place, which is located close to the heart of Prague Old Town, has a very nice atmosphere. The staff was really friendly and provided good service. The food, especially the risotto we had, was very tasty and they have a great wine list...as wel. I'd go here again.More

It is amazing, how pictures of the food on the restaurant's website differ from real life. I've been there two weeks ago with my wife for a dinner. Ordered aubergine with tomatoes as a starter and then pizza Capricciosa. Aubergine was just a mess. You...could not actually find aubergine because of tons of really cheap and burned cheese. Revolting. Capriciossa was burned underneath and completely raw on top. All that covered with the cheapest ham you can buy and very old zucchini. Terrible in every way.More

We have seen nice place in the centre so it should be good for lunch. But it was a dissapointment for us because the service was really bad. Long time for delivery of food, we had to wait long time, rude, definitelly not nice

I guess this is the worst “italian” restaurant in Prague. The food is so average, I really doubt any Italian would be satisfied here. But of course the prices are quite high, like in a good Italian restaurants. San Danielle was without any taste. Homemade...pasta was dry, again no taste, 4 shrimps on top, with pieces of garlic- price- 275 CZK. The service is not bad, but they clearly do not know how to handle complaints and feedback, as we were told they sell 50 portions per day and no one complained. This is definitely a place where I would never go again, and I don’t recommend at all. Go to Wine food market, pasta fresca or other ambiente restaurants- even pasta nuova next to the Kotva is better. It is a pity though, as the location is beautiful.More

Good restaurant in a warm and nice location. Fast delivered pizza made to a very thin bottom after two days preparation. Good bread in a paperbag. Resonable prices and good quality. Recommended especially since it is good for outdoor eating.

We stumbled across this Italian for some lunch the other day and really enjoyed our food there. Not badly priced either. Sat on the street which was nice on such a warm day too!
