If there's one pub I know I'm going to visit on any holiday I take to Prague its U Buldoka, been here so many times now it's like a locals pub to me. I love the look of this pub, interior is superb, a proper sports pub, walls and ceilings decorated with football scarfs from around the world, a solid wood serving bar dominates the main room, pubby decor and furnishings, big screens to enjoy the sport and plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub, its just a really good pub to unwind in. My twin brother and I were here on a Saturday night, pub was busy with a great atmosphere, we ordered beers from Pilsner Urquell Brewery, these were served in excellent condition being iced cold and sparkling and with the distinctive foamy head so characteristic of the way Czech beer is poured, we chilled out and soaked up the great vibe in this busy and popular pub while we sipped our beers. A big fan of this most famous of Czech beers, its a golden, light and hoppy lager style beer bursting with taste and very easy to drink especially when served freezing cold as in this pub, its hardly surprising that this pub is so popular with beers served in this good a condition. We really enjoyed our beers in here before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting as on every other visit to U Buldoka we had a great time. U Buldoka is easy to locate along Preslova,a street and area teeming with pubs, bars, cafe's and restaurants. Opening hours are; Monday to Friday, open from 11am. Saturday, open from 3pm. Sunday, closed. Well worth checking out if you're in the Smichov district ( Praha 5 ) of Prague.

On any holiday I take to this most beautiful of city's I always look forward to dropping into U Buldoka ,a great locals pub that's one of the liveliest pubs in the eclectic Smichov District. I love the look of this pub ,interior is superb ,a solid brick serving bar ,pubby decor and furnishings ,football shirts and scarves are festooned all over the pub ,big screens to enjoy the sport and there's lots of seating options ,it's just a really cosy pub to chill out in. We were in here on a bitterly cold December night ,this pub was busy with a great vibe ,we ordered and were served beers from Pilsner Urquell Brewery ,these were served in pristine condition ,we chilled out and took in the great pub we were in . A big fan of this famous Czech beer ,it pours golden with a big foamy head so beloved by the Czech's,hoppy ,bursting with taste and when this beer is served iced cold and sparkling as in this pub it's such a delicious and refreshing beer indeed,it was just so good being in such a fantastic pub enjoying a great beer and sat with my twin brother Stephen who is the best beer companion in the world. We really enjoyed our beers in here before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting as on every other visit to here we had a great time. U Buldoka is easy to locate along Preslova. Opening hours are; Monday to Saturday, open from 11am till very late. Sunday, closed. A great locals pub and well worth checking out if you're in the Smichov District.

It was just so good again to visit Prague for an eight days holiday after all the recent lockdowns and travel restrictions ,it's a city I've visited so many times, love it here, the great sites, the wonderful pubs, bars and restaurants, one if my favourite pubs is U Buldoka ,a great locals pub. This is as traditional a pub as you will find in the Smichov District ( Praha 5 ),the interior is superb ,dark wood features chunky wooden tables and chairs ,a solid brick serving bar ,great decor and furnishings throughout this multi roomed pub,tv's and big screens to enjoy the sport and lots of football scarves and football team shirts adorning the ceiling,it's just a great pub to unwind in. My twin brother Stephen and I were here on a Friday night ,pub was busy with a great vibe ,we grabbed a table were we ordered a beer from the Pilsner Urquell Brewery ,these beers were served in pristine condition with the characteristic foamy head that's associated with the way Czech beer is served,we just kicked back, chilled out and soaked up the great vibe in this busy and popular pub. My beer was really good,a big fan of Pilsner Urquell beer when served iced cold and sparkling as in this pub it's such a delicious beer, light, hoppy and bursting with taste ,so drinkable,a totally refreshing beer indeed. We both really enjoyed our beers in here before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting as on every other visit to U Buldoka ( At The Bulldog ) we had a great time. U Buldoka is easy to locate along Preslova . Opening hours are; Monday to Saturday ,open from 11am. Sunday, closed. Well worth checking out if you're in the area

I've never seen such a boorish attitude towards customers in my life. A closed 0.5 coke brought with it was plucked from his hands, even though the check was already over 2,000 kroner at the time. Then the owner of the place started sniping and saying things that didn't really happen. The establishment is highly discouraged. Worst experience in a long residence in Prague.

The owner of this place can snatch any food out of your hands, be it coke or gum, just because it was not bought in his canteen even if you were not going to eat it in his pub. Plus, as it turns out, he's not happy to serve you if you're not Czech

Hospoda U Buldoka on Preslova is a pub in the Smíchov area of Prague that shows live sport and offers well priced drinks and well priced food and is located in an area were there are many pubs/bars and restaurants and excellent transport links. This is a superb pub with a fantastic sports themed interior with many football scarves from around Europe and fantastic fixture's and feature's and very good seating areas throughout its whole interior. There's a night club in the basement part of this pub but in all the years that me and my twin have had a beer in here we've never visited it. We visited here on our first night In Prague and as usual Hospoda U Buldoka was very busy which is how we like pubs as there's a better atmosphere. When we were here we had a Pilsner Urquell brewery beer'a really good Czech beer which where superb and really well priced. This is a superb pub in an excellent area of Prague and is well worth visiting and is very easy to locate from Zborovská bus or tram stop its only a short walk.(This is my second review Hospoda U Buldoka). Opening Hours. Monday-11.00-23.00. Tuesday-Thursday-11.00-00.00. Friday-11.00-01.00. Saturday-15.00-00.00. Sunday-Closed. Public Transport. Bus Stop. Zborovská Bus Stop-904-907-908. Tram Stop. Hospoda U Buldoka is a fantastic pub that offers a well priced food and drink's range and is one of the best pubs in Prague. Located on Preslova in Smíchov'U Buldoka has a lived in interior with many interesting fixtures and features throughout the whole pubs interior such as football scarve's and postcards from all over the world. They offer a superb range of beers and as mentioned above a great food menu thats well priced. We have been coming here for many many years as there is always a nice atmosphere in here. This was our first visit to here for a couple of years due to the pandemic and it hasn't changed that much since we last visited. It was very lively when we were here with lots of expats and tourists but we didn't have a problem in finding a table. When we visited we only had a few glasses of Pilser Urquell Brewery beers which were superb and well priced. This is an excellent pub and is well worth a visit and easy to find from Zborovská tram stop it's a short walk.(This is my first review of Hospoda U Buldoka). Opening Hours. A very good pub just down from Andel, it was lovely and busy and it's always good to see people enjoying themselves. Good choice of competitively priced drinks, large screen for sport and friendly staff.

U Buldoka is great locals pub in the eclectic Smichov District that is always a pub I love to visit on any holiday i take to this most beautiful of cities. The pub interior is awesome ,it's an authentic Czech sports pub, innumerable football scarves from around the world adorn the walls, sports, beer posters and enamels are everywhere, there's even a canoe suspended from the ceiling, great decor and furnishings including a cool looking serving bar and there's plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub, it really is a cool looking pub . We were here on a Friday night and this pub was absolutely packed with a great atmosphere, we very luckily managed to get a table were a very pleasant member of staff served us a big frothy Pilsner Urquell beer each, beers were served in excellent condition being iced cold and sparkling, we just chilled out and took in the great pub we were in. To say this pub is popular would be an understatement, I've been here many times over the years and it's always a very busy pub. I really enjoy Pilsner Urquell beer, it's such a light and hoppy brew, it's a beer style I really enjoy and the beer I most associate with Prague. We really enjoyed our first beers in here and the great atmosphere so much so that we ended up staying for another beer each before we moved on and as on every other visit to here we had a great time. U Buldoka is easy to locate, jump tram No 7.10.16.54 to stop Zbovoska and walk down Preslova were you will find this pub. Opening hours are; Monday to Friday, Open from 11am. Saturday & Sunday, Open from Midday. A great pub, well worth checking out if your in the area.

Great Beer & Tequila! 👌 We passed by this place close to our hotel ... glad we popped in as the food was good and a reasonable price, the beer was fab and we ended with tequila of which there was a good selection. The bar staff were friendly and they accomodated our attempts at the Czech language. We'll be back

Just found this place by chance but glad I did, nice to get out of the rain. It's a sports themed pub, I'd day mainly football with scarves, photos etc all over the walls. Just had a few drinks and watched a game on the TV, it was very quiet about 3pm but I imagine it gets busier in the evening and if it wasn't my last afternoon I would have been back in the evening. I'll do the evening at my next visit to Prague soon. Staff were pleasant, drinks reasonably priced. Ill be back again soon

As above, just down to earth and good - Had a Goulash and a Spicy Bean - good fodder no complaints Super efficient waiting staff wisked beers up (they have an ok selection - the Dark was nice as was the half & half) - almost before they were asked for... What's not to like? thank you!

This place is just a good friendly bar! A great place to have a drink in the evening. We found the staff to be quite nice as the barman made my husband ( in a fun way) try Becherovka. I liked this place a lot

U Buldoka is an absolutely fantastic sports bar that we always make a point of visiting on any holiday to Prague as it's just a perfect bar to enjoy a beer or a meal and chill out in. The bar itself is so cool with a sporting decorative scheme, football scarves and pennants adorn the bar, there's a rowing boat suspended from the ceiling and there's all forms of bric a brac around the bar,it really is a cool bar. We were here on a Saturday night and this place was packed with a cracking atmosphere,we luckily managed to get a table were a very pleasant member of staff who took our order of a couple of beers and we opted to have that most Czech of beers namely Pilsner Urquell and these beers were served in tip top condition being iced cold and sparkling and we just chilled out and soaked up the great vibe in this busy and popular bar. The beer was superb and although I cannot comment on the meals on this visit i have are here on numerous occasions and the meals are just superb, proper pub grub. We moved on after our delicious beers and as on every other visit to here we had a great time. You will find U Buldoka by jumping tram number 7.10.16.54 to stop Zbovoska were you walk down Preslova were you will find this bar. Opening hours are; Sunday to Thursday,3pm till 11.30pm.
