Over the past few years, my wife and I have found ourselves repeatedly drawn to The Three Fiddles, a pub tucked away in the picturesque streets of Prague. Each visit reaffirms its status as a hidden gem, deserving of the repeat patronage we and many others bestow upon it.
Waling in, you're immediately enveloped by its welcoming atmosphere. The pub’s warm wooden furnishings and the soft strains of Irish folk music create an ambiance that’s both comforting and authentically charming. This setting, reminiscent of a traditional Irish pub, provides a delightful contrast to the surrounding Prague architecture, marrying the essence of Ireland with Czech grace.
The food has always been been consistently excellent. The menu, rich with hearty fare, and many traditional Irish options, including the good old Irish Brekky with white pudding.
It is not just the food and drink that beckon us back, but the exceptional hospitality. Joe, the owner, extends a warm welcome to every guest, making personal connections that enhance the dining experience. His attention to detail and genuine interest in his patrons' enjoyment contribute significantly to the pub’s charm. This time round, Joe presented my tea-loving mother with some Barry's Irish tea bags, a thoughtful gesture that spoke volumes of his generosity, especially since we couldn't find anything but English Breakfast tea in the City.
The Three Fiddles stands out not only as one of the best Irish Pubs in Prague, but as a cornerstone of hospitality. It remains a favoured destination in Prague for us, and I would recommend it to all.
We look forward to many more visits, where we'll get good food and great company.

Cannot recommend this gem in the heart of Prague Highly enough. Joe is the heart and soul of this pub and takes the time to chat to all his customers and has great banter with them. The pub itself is cosy and a lot bigger than it seems from the outside. The guiness is great here and is pulled as a proper pint should be. Food is top class and very reasonable too ( highly recommend heading there for a full Irish breakfast) Will defo be making a return visit !

Amazing Pub in the middle of Prague! The staff is extremely welcoming and friendly! The fish and Chips were amazing and so was the Beer! I loved the atmosphere and the staff was very welcoming and helpful ! We had a great chat with the bartender. Our food came in no time and in addition with the music it really felt like a traditional Irish pub which is hard to find, especially in Prague! So if you ever find yourself in Prague I would 100% recommend visiting the Three fiddles!

After a long walk to Prague castle, my Husband and I stopped in to the Three Fiddles.
We have been to a few different "Irish Pubs" in Prague, but none like the Three Fiddles.
Joe (the owner) and Eddie (the Manager), as well as the rest of the team working there give you a very warm Irish welcome.
After that, we were treated to some great pints of Guinness and glasses of wine and some very tasty food (Irish curry half and half, and fish and chips).
We also had mozzarella sticks, which may be the best I have had.
Finally, it was a Sunday evening and we were treated to some traditional live Irish music from Declan.
For me, this is a must visit if you are looking for Irish like atmosphere in Prague.
I could not recommend any higher.

Lovely friendly bar, great food and atmosphere. We started with the nachos and thank goodness we decided to get one portion and share, because it was massive! I then had a classic burger and my wife had the chicken burger. Both cooked to perfection and served piping hot.
Can highly recommend and we will definitely call here again before our city break finishes.

Have been in Prague on several holidays and never found a pub so friendly as Three Fiddles a big shout for Joe the owner he is the best you can find has time to make everyone welcome best food you find in the Irish bars here and cheap as well as the beers. You would travel far and wide to find a host like Joe and his barman Eddie. Long live the Three Fiddles. Liam O Shea.

We really enjoyed our meal and the staff at Three Fiddles - "comfort food" is what my husband called it, and a great burger and fries for me! The Irish music and Irish staff enhanced the small restaurant ambience. I'd highly recommend THREE FIDDLES!

A cosy watering hole representing Irish (and Geordie) hospitality of the very highest standard. The poetic, sweet, and wonderful waitress Daria made us feel so welcome we asked her to adopt us. Her poise and grace, wit and charm, warmth and cheer will wash away any weariness Prague's hills and cobblestones may have left on you.

Visiting The Three Fiddles Irish Pub was a delight. The atmosphere was cozy, the music was fantastic, and the food was delicious. I particularly enjoyed the fish and chips - they're the best in Prague, in my opinion!

Dreadful place for a pre dinner drink.
The red wine was absolutely undrinkable. Either very poor quality or had been opened a long time. The owner/barman was completely arrogant and dismissive about this explanation as to why it hadn’t been drunk even though we had already paid the bill and were not asking for a refund/discount.
Do not go here if you value the quality of your drink or if you appreciate a reasonable level of service.

Great little pub on the way down from the castle. Very good atmosphere, staff very friendly and food was lovely. The chef was off on the day we visited but the owner cooked some food for us without any problems. The owner is a lovely, friendly guy who spent time chatting to us, he has a good sense of humour too 😀 Drinks selection is good and there is something to suit everyone's taste. Unfortunately the roof terrace was under refurbishment when we visited, but I imagine it being lovely sat up there in the sunshine ☀️Would highly recommend visiting.

Fantastic Irish bar in downtown Prague so close to the castle! The garden terrace is a great place to watch sports and they have live music on the weekend. Food was amazing and the service was wonderful. The bar does have a minimum for card payment but well worth the extra beer or three!!

In a city teeming with Irish pubs in my opinion The Three Fiddles is the best, its certainly the most authentic, I love visiting this pub on any holiday I take to Prague.
I love the look of this pub, its multi roomed, a cool looking serving bar dominates the main room, wonderful decor and furnishings, big screens to enjoy the sport and plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub both inside and outside looking out onto the busy and beautiful Nerudova.
My twin brother and I were here on a Saturday afternoon, we ordered beers from Staropramen Brewery, these were served in excellent condition being iced cold and sparkling and with the distinctive foamy head so characteristic of the way Czech beer is poured,we chilled out and soaked up the great vibe in this busy and popular Irish pub.
A big fan of this most famous of Czech beers, golden, light and hoppy, bursting with taste and very easy to drink especially when served freezing cold as in this pub, actually it should be served in great condition as the huge and impressive Staropramen Brewery is only a short tram ride from this pub so the beer doesn't have to travel so far .
We both really enjoyed our beers in here before we moved on and although our visit was only fleeting as on every other visit to The Three Fiddles we had a great beer experience.
The Three Fiddles is easy to locate along Nerudova, a street and area teeming with pubs, bars, cafe's and restaurants and some amazing architecture and a major tourist destination.
Opening hours are;
Monday to Sunday, 10am till 1am.
A great pub in a fantastic location, well worth checking out if you're in the Mala Strana ( Lesser Town ) of this most fascinating of beautiful city's.

Fabulous little find...
Great atmosphere, lovely food and even better staff!
We visited several times whilst we stayed in Prague. It was round the corner from our hotel, so it would have been rude not to, so glad we stumbled upon The Three Fiddles...
Full Irish breakfast is definitely recommended, along with the fish and chips and bangers and mash, obviously not all in one sitting. 😉
And a huge shout out to Edward the manager, friendly, chatty, great guy.

Your experience in Prague will never be complete if you do not see it from the top. Hillsides, stretched from the west to the north, provide spectacular views of greenish copper cupolas, narrow cobblestone streets, bridges connecting both river banks and green gardens from red-roof tops of centuries-old houses. Prague pulls you into its 1300 year old history. Walking up the hill or stairs to Prague Castle, the historical seat of Czech rulers and the majestic Saint Vitus Cathedral can leave you speechless (and out of breath). Luckily, plenty of terrace cafés overlooking gardens and beautiful parks are available to provide rest and a place to catch your breath again.
