People sit here for hours drinking endless half liters of Pilsner. It's mostly locals. Tourists beware. They'll serve you but don't expect English or friendliness. It's small and the tables are all "reserved". That is if they don't like you they won't let you sit...More

This is the mysterious unnamed Rick Steves' favorite Prague pub. In fact in the video, the exterior shot is of somewhere else. WARNING: This place is sought after by many tourists. To limit the non-local crowd they have a policy of NO SEAT = NO...More

Great place to grab a cheeky pint of Pilsner and maybe a shot of slivovice for cheap given where it is. Not a place with a bunch of amenities, but a place with heart and authenticity

Great little no fuss real local bar. Near to Lesser Town side of Charles Bridge and practically next door to the British Embassy (might be handy . . yer never know!). Definitely a "local" when we're in Prague.

U hrocha does not need words of praise. I never ate here, I just stop for a pint of Pilsner Urquel and relax for a moment. Not a touristy place at all.

This is a very small pub that appears to be a favorite among locals. It's hard to find a seat but, once you do, you can drink some great local beer for very little $ and their food is pretty good too, at least on...More

This place is a must mainly for cheap beer. Both times I went it was only locals dining in. Beer is the equivalent of $1.79 USD for 0.5L of beer. It is cold and delicious. Food was also very cheap and good, but not great....More

Your experience in Prague will never be complete if
you do not see it from the top. Hillsides, stretched
from the west to the north, provide spectacular views
of greenish copper cupolas, narrow cobblestone
streets, bridges connecting both river banks and green
gardens from red-roof tops of centuries-old houses.
Prague pulls you into its 1300 year old history.

It is very small and offers little in the way of food. It is popular with locals and serves only the famous Pilsner Urquell beer at a ridiculously inexpensive price.
