the POS machines was out of order and the exchange rate was extremely high (1 euro to 22 coronas). All other shops has exchange rate 1 euro to 25 coronas.

We stopped off for food at around 9pm as we didn’t fancy the other restaurant we had planned to go to and this was just around the corner. Waiters were very friendly and welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious - we had the mushroom risotto...& one of the specials. We weren’t forced to leave a tip and the waiter was not rude, and didn’t even ask for it as majority of other restaurants do. We left more tip than was expected as felt we had amazing service and the food was absolutely delicious! In a lovely little cellar area also which was very nice. Would definitely return!More

We went on a whim and enjoyed ourselves. There is a large cellar dining room but we were seated upstairs in the smaller entrance area. As it was February we had a few chilly moments as people went in and out which could be quite...annoying. The selection on the menu was wide and varied with a good selection of wines at reasonable prices too. The service was good and friendly however the food was a little plain and simpler than we expected although it was all edible. Probably wouldn’t return but may have been happier with a different selection. Seemed popular with the locals.More

We dined here on 2 separate occasions whilst staying in Prague, first for dinner on the evening we arrived as it was across the way from our hotel. We both chose pasta dishes on the first occasion and I have to say they were really...tasty. Can definitely recommend the spaghetti carbonara, this was lovely!! Our second visit was for lunch on our last day, when we both chose pizzas 🍕 again really tasty - pizza dough lovely and fresh!! Would definitely recommend here for lunch and dinner!!More

Pizza reminds me of my 2 years living in Italy. Fresh ingredients and a crips crust. Our waiter was kind and very attentive. We shared a salad, had some Brunello and each had a pizza of our choosing. Yum!

Just visited with my family restaurant La Scala and had a bad experience. The service was incredibly slow, the staff not friendly at all and the food was just okay... nothing special. Not at all a good italian restaurant! Would not recommend to anyone visiting...Prague, is not worth it! Not going backMore

Every meal we've had in Prague this week has been very good to excellent. La Scala was the exception. The waiter brought us dishes that we did not order, then argued about it. We tried eating them anyway and they were very poor imitations of...basic Italian food. The waiter had the good graces to comp our meals, which is appreciated, but we did not go there for free food – we went there for good food.More

So we visited this restaurant a few days ago because it had a nice outdoor seating area, it was busy and prices seemed reasonable for being in the centre. Service was slightly slow but we didn’t wait too long, maybe like 20 mins. The table...next to us got their bill and the waitress said ‘tip tip’ to them which I didn’t like so we searched reviews on trip advisor and there was a few bad in regards to service and charges so we were worried then! We ordered 2 pizzas, 2 plates of fries, 2 beers and a coke and it all come to £24 which I think is very good! We also got some bread and butter as an appetiser that was complimentary. They weren’t pushy for a tip either like we thought they would be. Overall we had lovely food, the fries were really nice, service was okay and setting was nice. Great little placeMore

This place likes garlic. The food was nice, the beer was ok and there was alot of garlic! The service was quick enough ordering and getting our food and it was in a decent location for us to eat and carry on wondering. There was...an enforceable tip which I didn't like considering it wasnt the cheapest place. I can't complain about it but I can't rave about it either. Good for people watching as there is alot of footfall going past as you dine!More

Disgusting desserts (pannacotta, chocolate cake) We even found mold in one of the cakes. Never go here!

Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the
