A wonderful restaurant with delicious food and great beer.
The view from this restaurant is a panoramic beauty of the five central districts of historic Prague. The Czech Republic has set the standard for incredible beer 🍻 and the challenge is to pair it with exceptional food and service.

Great food and drink, especially the beer. Patio is really pretty, shaded, and quite quiet for the size. The service was really bad to the point we were about to leave after waiting ten or fifteen minutes for the waiter to say hello. But, after that everything went well and the food was actually very fast, although it maybe wasn’t the busiest time of the shift. I’d recommend for getting some solid Czech food and drink in a great location.

We were greeted instantly after stumbling along the place. The drinks were great. The Czech wine was so yummy and you can’t go wrong with the Pilsner. The outdoor tables are gorgeous, very green and full of flowers. Food was nothing crazy but no complaints. Kristyna was our waitress, she was very attentive and made sure everything was going good. Along with another waiter, they made our experience very nice.

We walked to the monastery brewery as we were told they had great beer here. And its exactly what we found. The staff was friendly, and treated us to a shot of Becherovska. We also had the potato soup in a bread bowl which was well worth it after a full day of walking.
As adepts of breweries and beer halls around the world, It was overall great experience, would recommend.

Absolutely awful from start to finish.
Sat down and with in a minute was asked what we wanted. No time to look at menu or drink menu. Server walked away when I was looking over the drinks menu, when I called him back he rolled his eyes. Drink came and was put on the table with an empty glass. Doesn’t take much for the server to pour your drink for you and then present it.
Ordered a starter and main. Starter came within 5 minutes, potato soup. Far to much garlic in it.
Not 2 minutes after finishing the starter did the main come out. That was the worse part. I ordered beef sirloin, with a sauce, bread dumplings. It came out with whipped cream and cranberries on top of the beef. The beef was very over cooked and dry. Looked to me as a microwave meal. I didn’t not eat it.
Not once did the server ask if everything was ok with the food. Terrible service and disgusting food.

many thanks for you feedback. I´m sorry if the service was a so quick - This restaurant have in season more than 500 seats .
Please do not hesitate for more time ask the staff. We will do maximum for you at all.
About the meal - this is boiled beef meat not a steak, so thats why is a little bit dry.
This meat is serving with special czech creamy vegetable sauce and with dumplings (this is not bread but garnish) - All Czech clients coming to us consume this meal - Its specific sweet meal.
We have no problem any time change the meal also if its a wrong choice.

Terrible service. When we arrived there was no queue and a waitress told us to just find a table. After waiting to be served with no luck, we asked if we had to order at the bar, only to be told that we had to wait to be seated at the queue. We tried to explain but the waiter was very rude and wouldn’t even listen to us. We stood at the queue and tried again to explain what had happened to no avail. We had the impression they don’t like to serve tourists. We left and found a lovely restaurant with good service.

Although situated in a great location that’s about where the positive ends really. Service was dreadful, rude and they don’t care at all. Drinks ok. As for the food, it looked terrible and tasted terrible. Couldn’t wait to leave. It was practically empty and to be honest not surprised.

So, if your are not so satisfaction, solve problem emediatelly - Now we don´t know whats happend if happend.
Usually is instead a problem just misunderstanding.
Next time don't hesitate contact manager on duty.

For starters, I had the creamy mushroom soup which was delicious. For the mains, chicken with mash potatoes was not delightful at all. Chicken was rock hard and had no taste. The waiters here are non friendly as well. Would definitely not recommend anyone to dine here if you are on holidays.

A pleasant beer garden and restaurant hidden across the way from the Monastery church. We tried to go to the scenic restaurant, but the wait for food was too long and rude/no service, so we kept looking and found this great place. We sat outside and had great beer and wonderful food, very reasonable. Good service, friendly staff. I wanted dumplings with stroganoff, not on the menu, but the waiter made it happen with no problem. Recommend and would return. Just look for the garden.

We had food and beer.
The blueberry beer was good, granted. View from the patio is splendid.
Service was unfriendly at best, and the food was very poor.
My recommendation is to have a beer, watch the view and then move on to a better place to eat.

After visiting Hradcany, this place offered a lovely lunch break. In a hot summer day, we were seated outside in a shadow of an old historic building. Own brewed beer was simply lovely, and so was the food! The superhelpful and accommodating waiter with a big smile was the cherry on top of our gourmet experience.

Kristinya was our server and she was lovely! Very attentive and on top of everything. Friendly smile and we enjoyed her service. Grounds are beautiful! Food... was just ok... want to give higher for that but we can’t. After traveling for weeks we have had better food almost everywhere. Watery beef stroganoff, Vienna schnitzel that batter didn’t stick to meat... nothing inedible or awful.... but nothing extraordinary or even noteworthy. Come for good service and ambiance not the food.
