We came by the restaurant and it had room to fit us in without a booking so we grabbed a table. We were seated around the back but that was probably because we had a toddler with us.
The menu was both in Czech and English so we just picked a few things to share including the platter. We grabbed the Old Town platter since we wanted to try the pork hock. The food was quite nice and was very filling. The pork tenderloin was one of the more expensive and smaller dishes.
It felt like a pub rather than a restaurant but the atmosphere was fairly casual.

We chose this restaurant as we wanted to try svíćková and we were not disappointed. The meat was perfectly cooked, the sauce was amazing and the combination of cranberry jelly and cream was as delicious as it was surprising. Added to that the bread dumplings were excellent and the beer was delicious. I commend this place to everyone visiting Prague.

Decided to come here for dinner whilst on a short break in Prague. It was busy but staff had a table for two available. I chose the pork knee (very filling). My wife's first choice was not available so she opted for the beef steak which she enjoyed. We were charged for one extra beer but when I pointed this out the mistake was corrected instantly. We came again the following day for lunch and can also recommend the goulash soup served in bread.

Food was good for how much it was but the waiters were pretty rude and disinterested. They didn’t mention anywhere that the payment could only be made by cash and then didn’t really offer any solutions (they just say they don’t really care and pull faces). They have the option to pay in euros but their Kč exchange rate is of 22Kč = 1 euro when normally it’s around 24/25 and they only give the change back in Kč.

We were recommended this place by a tour guide and it did not disappoint! When they said it was classic Czech food we had to go. We were greeted very nicely and was quickly seated and asked for drinks which came promptly. We had seen reviews prior about the portion sizes and asked the server who was very helpful. We ordered one order or Gulache bread bowl and a pork neck with dumplings. It was more then enough as this came under two mains which, for the price, was a very decent portion! The aesthetic was very nice and i would recommend this classic restaurant/bar!

Found this place by accident but seeing as there was a queue outside we thought we would try it. It did not disappoint. The found and the atmosphere was great. I had read about rude waiters but actually I think they are a very busy place but they were not rude. Our waiter took the time to explain menu items and the different beers available. Try the goulash soup ! and the burgers were excellent. There was a dark local beer which was more like a stout. Totally recommend if looking for something less "touristy"

The waiters are so unfriendly and unprofessional, not even a smile.
The food is below average, we ordered s pork knuckle and ribs, the ribs were very dry and old, they must have been cooked few days ago and reheated. The sauce was nice though. The knuckle was very fatty, no cracking at all.
When I asked for more sauce to help with the dry ribs they brought me a bottled BBQ sauce, obviously was not the same so I said that's not the one, waiter response was: I don't know, is the same sauce. They dont even know what they serve.
Try another place, plenty around with better service and better food.

Central location, with a menu in Spanish (also in other languages). We had to wait about 15 minutes for a table. Nice and attentive staff.
We tried the ribs and the traditional goulash (there was also a choice of goulash with the presentation of being served on bread), two beers and a drink (which is only rum there), which cost about €40. Good quality-price. There are a variety of Czech dishes to choose from. You can pay by card.

We went twice, recommended by the civitatis free tour. The first time we were very good and Colominos enjoyed the typical (new arrivals) which is the goulash and the goulash soup (2 people and a 3 year old baby) washed down with Czech beer as it could not be otherwise. Sympathy is not the Czechs' strong suit or perhaps it is the feeling for the language issue. We returned a second time where they initially gave us problems for bringing babies (they didn't have a highchair and it was occupied) but one of the waitresses allowed us to enter and accommodated us, which cost her a reprimand from another worker. But when they had the high chair free they didn't offer it to us either. Outside of this incident, one of the best quality/price options we have found

We had read good reviews on this restaurant. This turned out not to be true. The waiter was very grumpy and not very service minded. We ordered pork knuckle and spare ribs. The meat was tough, dry and seemed old. A very disappointing experience. We couldn't finish the food and had to find another restaurant to have dinner. The overall experience was rock bottom!

Big disappointment. During a free walking tour, this restaurant was recommended to me because of its traditional food.
For Czech food the price is quite steep. The staff is not hospitable at all. They do what they have to do (bring the menu, take the order and deliver it) but they don't say anything else. They don't ask how it tastes. Not even a word was said while collecting the plates.
The food tasted okay, but not so good that I would recommend it to others.

After reading the reviews we wanted to try this restaurant and I must say that we ate well and spent the right amount or in any case on average (around €20 each).
The waiter who looked after us was very courteous, but the one who made us pay (insisting on a tip) and seated less but we didn't pay attention to it.
I certainly recommend it!!!

Very traditional location and menu
We ate the knee pork: it’s really huge for one person and you can’t finish it all by yourself. In addition it is difficult to eat because it’s a bit dry in some point and too fat in other point.
My girlfriend wasn’t feeling very well after the meal.
Gluten free options are okay (but not feeling really safe to eat there..)

While wandering around the center we decided to try this restaurant/brewery given the many positive reviews. The staff is a little rude but kind enough except for the fact that when they see you have finished eating and drinking they ask you 100 times if you are taking something back otherwise they make you understand that you have to get up from the table to give way to whoever is waiting. Good dishes, not exceptional. Especially the goulash with bread dumplings, the portion of meat morsels is a little small with lots of sauce and bread. Good beer. Prices normal.

I came here because a guru walk guide recommended it to me, we arrive and they bring us the menu, they warned me that the waiters were abrupt but no big deal, I order goulash in a loaf of bread, absolutely mediocre compared to others I ate in Prague, lots of potatoes little meat, a shank, which arrived dry, cold with raw and non-raw sauerkraut and the usual sweet and sour sauce, and to finish a "chicken cutlet with fried potatoes" and instead pork ribs in terrifying BBQ sauce arrived, I asked for explanations and the waiter told me he attacks verbally making me understand that I had ordered wrong... He goes away after a while I call him back and in a loud voice I make him read the menu in Italian which I had indicated "chicken cutlet with fried potatoes" at my annoyed complaints he takes away my barbecue and takes me the cutlets... I asked him for mayonnaise without onion inside and he told me he didn't have it then a waitress moved with compassion and brought it... So it ruined my dinner in Prague. I absolutely advise against it as a place to eat forget Roberto from Rome
