Unfortunately discovered this gem on our last night in Prague. Hopefully the virus quarantine will end soon so more people could try them. Absolutely everything we had was delicious and the portions generous. The rabbit, the sausages, the meat and dumplings were finger-licking good. Be sure u reserve for dinner since it tends to be quite busy. By the way, it is not a tourist trap, it’s prices are absolutely decent - a dinner for two, including drinks was around 35 eur - which is a great price.

This is a hidden gem. Yes, truly hidden away via a ground level passage which leads into a small path. Slightly out of the norm but absolutely well worth the discovery. Very cozy atmosphere, great food, and excellent service - do try the klobasa or the goulash. The menu is small, traditional, and very reasonably priced. It can accommodate couples, families, or groups. I would highly recommend making a reservation has it is becoming quite popular.

We've been welcomed by Martina, a wonderful waitress of the restaurant who gave us a couple of suggestions about the menu. Service was excellent and fast, food was GREAT, we had a beef Goulash and some beef sirloin stripes along with some beers. The whole meal was quite cheap overall (especially if compared to other restaurants who offer similar menus at higher prices) we ended up spending a bit less than 20€ total. Definitely recommended, will come again next time we're in Prague!

Came here twice during our stay, we had the goulash and pork knee with both being fantastic. It really does pay to find this place instead of going to a restaurant on the main strip of the old town as waitresses were lovely, friendly and portions of well cooked food were good. We felt very unhurried but would recommend booking as otherwise you may have a wait. When we return we will definitely be popping back in for more of the same.

Arrived on the first day in Prague with no maps due to no Internet couldn't find the place and running out if time we had to give up and look for another place which made me more determined. Tuesday we found the place but it was closed. Even more determined now....last day last chance found the place it's well hidden not far from the famous clock, it was open, happy days. We had goulash and the beef sirloin both delicious, we also had 2 lemonades, for afters apple strudel and lotus cheesecake also delicious. Service from he girl very good as well. I tipped her nicely. Should have 5 stars but only gets 4 because after I left we realised they forgot to serve their homemade dumplins with the sirloin so I would check that you are being served everything u paid for before leaving. Total 1100czk or 40euro

We loved it. Calm atmosphere, great service. We ordered a sausage that turned out to be tasty and very interesting tomato or paprika notes, and a chicken breast with grilled veggies. Meat was great, but the dessert. Damn that was mind blowing. If you get there, be sure to order their lime cheesecake.

Came here for my first ever time trying authentic Czech cuisine. I was really impressed with the food, especially the Czech sausage. The waitress was really friendly and the food came out quickly and was a very reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend to others to try this place out.

This place was a nice little restaurant down a street off the Old Town Square. This was another restaurant we visited from a recommendation from the YouTube team from "The Honest Guide". Thanks to them, we found this great little restaurant and had a cracker of a meal that was really tasty and at a good price as well. Service was good, food was good, pricing was excellent. Id recommend this place of you are looking for somewhere to eat. Its way better then those touristy rip off merchants around the main square that don't have the homely charm and good Czech food and beer like here.

Restaurant is inside the city, quite hidden in a small alley. The waiters, especially a blonde waitress, speak Spanish perfectly and it is very easy to talk to her so she can recommend typical dishes from the country. The letter is in Czech and English. The prices are more or less like all the typical restaurants in the area and the truth is that the dish was delicious but it had little meat. The bread it comes with is very delicious if you dip it in the sauce. There is a dish of beef and sirloin with typical bread and potatoes, very good.

A nice place with traditional food. The sausages were amazing. The duck as well. A bit unusual for us was the sweet sauce with meat, but it’s a traditional thing, so nothing to complain about. Very good place, we recommend for a dinner/ lunch.

I highly recommend this place. The food was absolutely delicious, the best we had in Prague. Also, I was really really impressed by the service. The waiter was very friendly and nice with us, she provided lots of information about the food when we asked for recommendations. I loved the atmosphere and the entire experience.

This is the spot for the best dinner in Prague. The place is very cozy albeit tricky to find. Make sure your Google maps is on to find it. That is part of its charm. The food is excellent and the ultra charming owner, Barbora, is very attentive and receptive to her customers. The food is meticulously prepared. The value for this establishment is way above the rest in the city center.

The place is very welcoming, it immediately takes you into the Czech soul, recommended for your first meals in Prague. The food is typical, cooked very well and the staff is very helpful and friendly. The price is right, for what you eat, around €17 dish+beer, the portions are very generous so one dish is enough. highly recommended

We saw this place on the Honest Guide and booked a table for an early lunch. It was a bit hard to find but we managed eventually. It’s charming inside and the waiting staff are very friendly and kind. Side note- good music too! I had the beef in cream sauce which was good but I wasn’t a huge fan of the dumplings as I had enjoyed them more sonreírles. They were a bit too breadlike for me. Husband ordered the smoked ribs and we were shocked by the quantity! We could have easily had starters then shared the ribs as there were far too many for one person. They are served on a giant wooden platter with horseradish and mustard. Service is very fast. I would have liked to try the fried cheese as it looked great as did the strudel but unfortunately we were too full to try!

Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
