Very good organized place cooking local cousin, as well as a proposed competition to eat 1kg of meat for 15 min, I didn't try it myself, but looks very testy! Thank you

Just walking in Saint Wenceslas square and we decided to walk towards the pedestrian area in the older part of town, and we saw on the side this restaurant and since it was about time we walked in. Nice place and fast service, and we...ordered a potato bread soup, and two beef steaks, since we are fans of south-american meat, meat was not so tender but the plate was good, as well as the beers and the soup, it was a nice restaurant.More

The restaurant was busy and we were shown to a table near the bar by Martin who was lovely, very friendly and attentive. We had the ham and mushrooms respectively for starters which were fine, the Ham especially was delicious. The mains, I had the...steak which was just ok, nothing to write home about, but my husband had the pork with cabbage which was lovely. No deserts and a bottle of wine. There was no choice really for the wine only a few to choose from. The restaurant itself was very nice but the lighting too bright. OverallMore

Very rude staff, we were welcomed by the question “Where are you from” and a dismissive look after, when we tried to finally get served the waiter responded “We are not a fast-food”. Well, we had to leave at this point. Very disappointed experience. We...were a family of four with two kids, it was very unexpected for us to be treated like this. I assume, the food is good judging from the reviews、but it’s very unfortunate to get this kind of attitude from the staff.More

Had a great welcome, a very nice restaurant with great staff. Lots of food options, everything looked wonderful and everything seemed to have a different way of being served, the pork knuckle was delicious, as was the goulash in bread, drinks and food were reasonably...priced, and we would love to return.More

This was a very good find to taste some local cuisine. We had the sausage, spaetzle, dark beer and they gave us a shot of becherovka liqueur that is a local drink. Potato dumplings were just OK. Service was great.

Tasty gulash, but mostly sauce. Both types of dumpling sub par, and horrendous prices. Same or better quality food for half the price 100m down the street.

Me and my wife are here during our recent trip to Prague. We had to wait a bit before we could enter due to how busy it was. It wasn't too long a wait thankfully. We both ordered the soup in the bread. It was...so delicious and great value for money. I didn't leave a single crumb. The staff were all really nice and friendly too.More

The restaurant has a terrific location, and have also arranged some nice hammocks where you can sit down to have your dinner. Service was also OK. So far so good. But when it comes to quality of the food, it was just average. But very...expensive considering the small servings. Needles to say, we did not return.More

Unbelievable. Absolutely unbelievable. The waiters had an attitude that stank to high hell, even over the most basic things like splitting the bill. A simple ‘sorry we can’t do that’ would’ve been okay, not the rolling eyes like a teenager or condescending tone. Let alone...SHOUTING at us the way *one* particular waiter did… all it takes is basic respect on both ends. And we just didn’t get that. So, unless you like being disrespected, then avoid this place with all your power and run like Usain Bolt before they can catch you for even uttering the words ‘I would like to split the bill please’.More

I went early to avoid the crowds! And had a nice plate of roasted duck legs with knedliky and red cabbage, paired with beer! And served with good service!

Vintage Czech cuisine. Bucholic debacle at a very reasonable price. We were served a very hearty meal with local specific. I’m not a beer drinker. However, even as a seasoned red wine drinker, I’ll advise you to bite the bullet and drink Czech beer. In...my humble opinion, it’s the best in the world. We finished with digestive after drinks and they brought us two more free ones. The staff speaks very good English, is knowledgeable and very friendly. Worth a stop.More
