This is a bit "off the beaten path" so even on a Sat nite (though at an early hour), we walked in and had our choice of tables. As others have said here, wait staff is friendly, smiling, cooperative, and efficient even though there was only one waitress handling about 8 tables (again, an early hour). Menu has a pretty wide variety of dishes - pizza, pasta, meat, salads, soups. We had a caprese starter (excellent tomatoes), Caesar salad, and penne roma (pasta w grilled chicken and spinach in a cheesy cream sauce) with beer to drink, all for about CZ 700. All very good to excellent and the hot food came from the kitchen piping hot. Nice variety of seating options - outside, by window, or interior.

All the staff was very helpful and always ready to help but not too obnoxious. The food was simply a dream. I had lasagna, the crunchy top and the balance-flavoured ragout made a prefect experience. We were altogether 12 people, each having a different meal, and there was no one who could complain about it.

After a long day we didn’t want to travel too fas so we decided a pizza was the order of the day. We sat near the window we ordered bruschetta minestrone soup 2 pizzas water 2 large beers and a bottle of wine all for 900CSK. The bruschetta was lovely plenty of tomatoes well seasoned. The soup was very nice but not quite hot enough. The pizzas were full,of toppings and fresh and very enjoyable. The staff were excellent very attentive but they did start collecting plates when we hadn’t all finished not sure if that was because closing time was approaching and they were giving us the hurry along. Don’t let that put you off.

I had high hopes for this restaurant and feel like I maybe just ordered the wrong main. Our starter which we shared was the chicken and cheese nuggets which were served with a lovely garlic butter. That was really good. My boyfriends’ pizza he said was good. My pasta was the penne Roma which said contained onion, chicken, spinach, garlic and cream. This pasta came with hardly any pasta and PILES of spinach. There is a dish the same description I have all the time from a lovely restaurant in Scotland and the spinach amount is just the right amount but this was too much it looked like a pile of seaweed and it did not taste nice. The chicken had an odd flavour to it but could be because it was cooked with so much spinach. I couldn’t find any onion in my pasta. I ended up only eating the pasta tubes and scraping the spinach to the side. I honestly think I would’ve liked it a lot more had I ordered something else as everyone else’s food looked really good. I can’t rate any lower than a 3 star as the rest of the food was good. Service was good until I mentioned I did not like my pasta and the woman just opened her eyes widely at me and never even apologised which I thought was odd.

We were staying just down the street and had walked past La Ventola for the previous couple of days. It looked small and unassuming from the outside and we had eaten elsewhere in the area. But, having decided that we fancied an Italian meal, we decided to go to La Ventola as it was so convenient. What a great decision! As soon as we stepped into the larger than expected interior we were greeted warmly and offered a choice of tables. Friendly and efficient service continued throughout, the pizzas and tiramisu that we ate were excellent, beer was cold - and all at great value. You won't be surprised by anything on the menu - typical Italian pizzeria fare - but when that is what you want then I don't think you will find a better venue.

Located in the centre of Prague very easy to find. The restaurant itself I would describe as cosy. We took two pasta dishes and a pizza The gnocchi with truffle was really good. It did become slightly to rich after trying to finish it. The spaghetti Bolognese was again of high standard. The pizza was excellent very fresh, great crisp to the dough, overall great. The let down was the service they just didn’t seem to care. The Restaurant wasn’t busy, they seemed lacklustre and a vibe of we can’t be bothered. I would recommend the restaurant as the food is great.

This place was near our hotel. No reservation needed. It was cozy and filled with local people, which means the food was excellent. There is a large menu. Everything from pizza, salad, full course meals. A lot of the fancier restaurants needed reservations. We liked this place so much, we went back for a second meal.

Cozy and down to earth place attended mostly by the locals. Do not expect something snobbish and fancy - you will be rewarded by very favourable prices, decent pizza and good salmon. Super friendly service is well worth mentionong in this unexpected gem in the center of Prague.

Third visit in as many days. Lovely little resturant just off the Palladium square. Great food at reasonable prices 2 courses for less than ÂŁ20 which cant be bad. Engagement meal last night and staff could not have been more enthusiastic for us. Highly recomend this for an evening meal in Prague.

I still am in shock, I have never been treated so badly as I was in this restaurant. The woman who said she was a manager, was extremely rude from the start, and was making faces at us throughout the whole dinner. When I tried go to toilet with my toddler she started screaming at us .At the end when we didn’t leave a tip, she passed the cards and literally turned her back . The food was decent, but the whole experience was ruined by this women’s disgusting attitude.

Lovely food, warm cosy atmosphere if you get a window seat. We found the staff efficient and helpful. This restaurant was opposite our air b&b so we actually ate here twice! Happy teenagers so who would complain! The red wine was lush too! This restaurant is excellent value for money!
