Great find in Prague for when you get tired of the usual Urquell/Staropramen samey sort of lager (but they are much nicer than back home). Located round the corner from Wenceslas Square and close to Muzeum metro, this is one of the many craft bar venues in Prague. You buy a card and load it with Korona and help yourself to one of 14 beers on draft. So you can either sample them all or pour yourself bigger measures of what you fancy. I went in twice over a weekend and there were some new beers on tap each time. They also serve snacks like burgers and nachos. The staff are helpful and friendly and I just wish this fantastic concept existed in Manchester! Finally, the beers are of high quality, reasonably priced and there are descriptions of them on the dispenser. Great variety too: IPAs, lagers, sours, wheat beers, dark beers, bitters and fruit beers. Not a very big place so go early. Highly recommended.

Love the concept of this bar. You buy an NFC card with credit on it and then use the credit to pour your own pints. The staff were very helpful, explaining how it worked. The beers were good, a miz of larger, ale, cider and you can spend your credits on cocktails and food too, although a couple of times the barrel had run out. The cards cost us 310 kc and we got around 3-4 pints out of them. All in all a good experience.

If there one craft beer bar I know I'm going to visit on any holiday I take to Prague its Beer Point Prague, if you enjoy great beers served in a unique bar this craft beer bar will tick all the boxes . I love the concept, it's not new but it's executed better here than in the many self service craft beer bars ive visited throughout Europe. The bar itself is superb ,decor and furnishings are superb, great wall art ,down the centre of this craft beer bar is a multiple beer tap station with a great range of beers on offer plus beer glass cleansing sections. The concept is simple but very cool ,you are issued with a card ,similar to a credit card ,you put the amount of money you want on the card ,starting price is around 300 Kc but if you want to add more or top up you see a member of staff ,beer tasting is superb ,each beer tap has an electronic board outlining brewery, beer style and strength plus price ,as you pour price is revealed on screen ,its simple but oh so clever ,love this concept. My twin brother and I were here on a Tuesday night, bar was packed with a great atmosphere, we got our cards and proceeded to enjoy our beers ,we tasted ipa's,pale ale's,stouts, fruit beers, ciders, lagers,Vienna lagers ,the selection was superb, the beers served were in tip top condition, loved it ,as an added bonus when we gave our cards back after our drinking session we were refunded money we hadn't used on beers ,fabulous, can't wait to go again next time we're in Prague in May 2025 . Beer Point Prague is easy to locate along Mezibranska, its a stones throw from Wenceslas Square. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday, 11am till 11pm. A wonderful and unique craft beer bar, one I highly recommend you visit if you're in the New Town ( Nove Mesto) of Prague.

Fabulous craft beer bar near Muzeum Metro. You buy a beer card for 300 Czk and pour your own beer, wherever choice you want and how many ml you want. You can have as little or as much of each beer as you want. It's great the you can clean the glasses before trying a different beer. Great beer choice of 14 different beers. Nice friendly staff who explain everything if you need it.

14 self-serve draft craft beers. On paper, the concept is interesting. In fact, it is much less so. Beer is charged 3 CZK per centimetre (it seems to me). In the end you will quickly pay (especially if you taste a lot of different beers) and you will not have much in your glass.

Small and bustling bar where you are the barman. In exchange for 300 czk you get a card and 270czk of credit to tap however much of whichever of the 14 self service beers you choose. Want a little taste? It's your choice. Want a pint? It's your choice. Just remember to keep your hands on your card. The bar was clean and had games for people to play. So on a rainy day it's the perfect place to sit and while away the hours.

A great experience, never been anywhere like this before. The person on the desk was helpful and advised us what to do. You have a card which you pay 30 CZK for and put on 270 CZK. You then take a glass. On all the screens you can read which beer you would like to purchase. It gives you the strength of the beer and the price. You place your card on the reader on the table by the pull and pull your own beer, as much as you want. You can just have a sample or half a pint. It takes off the card the amount of beer you have had. A must for trying all the local beers. You can reserve tables but we managed to get a table alright.

A quick drink at a bar this is not. We found that out the hard way. Stumbled in here to avoid the rain only to be greeted by a cheery staff member who told us of a VERY novel concept. You put the equivalent of ÂŁ10 on a card then pour any drink yourself which is activated by putting a card won on a sensor. This then reduces the balance on the card by the amount of beer poured. With 14 to try (at time visited) this meant instead of having a pint and then throwing away or chugging a beer you don't like, you have a shot/taster then decide if you like it or not then move on. It is the nearest thing toa real ale festival in 1 building I have ever seen and like all festivals there are some poor beers and some superb ones too. A black lager called Haciente i think was it's name and the gorgeous black hill cider are 2 i recommend. This is the place you plan to go, not drop in. Also worthy of note are the toilets which are very clean (not something we found everywhere in Prague i'm sorry to say). An experience to renember and a novel way of trying lots of beers without getting too wrecked in the process. Only issue is money that is NOT spent on booze goes back on a card and takes several working days. Once the credit is used up, no more beer can be poured until the card is topped up again.

We visited here on our last day in Prague, as we were looking for somewhere for a couple of drinks before heading back to our hotel. They provide a card that you pre pay 300 koruna on to and then there is a wide choice of craft beers, ales, lagers and 1 choice of cider. You place the pre paid card on the bar on the drink you want and then get to pour your own drink. This means you can try just a taster of the beer, a whole pint or as much as you like and you can just top up the card as much as you’d like. It was nice and quiet when we came in the early afternoon and we enjoyed the concept of pre paying and pouring your own pint. We also had a small meal which was nice. Shame we didn’t find this place until our last day otherwise we would have been back again!

Pour your own beer start off with 300 Czech Koruna which is ÂŁ12. You dispense your own drink from a selection of around 12 ales and 1 cider. Nice ale and nice Cider but we only got 3 halves each which is too expensive.

It is one of the best bars in Prague. They have a large variety of locally brewed beers, the service is excellent, super friendly and the bites for the beers are perfect. Highly recommend this place to visit.

Very quirky and unique. Great way to try new beers. The staff explained and gave good instructions on the price, how to use the pumps and how to pay . They were not pushy as you can have one card for 2 people etc or one per person. They spoke good English. The beers change regularly. Beer snacks are available at reasonable prices. Would definitely recommend to put this on your places to visit.

Great little find !! You pay 30 cash for the card and 270 czk for initial credit… 14 beers to choose from, I found that I only spent around 30czk per drink as some where 8% + so only had a small amount of each … ( which is great as I would probably not bought one if it were in greater measures ) Had 5 drinks and still got 100czk back as we were pressed for time. Bar had a lovely atmosphere and friendly staff !!!

Walking around the city we randomly found this place... Best find ever! With an amazing atmosphere, Beer Point Prague is ran by a super friendly and welcoming person, Mark. He made us feel great by leading the tasting experience, telling us stories about him and the place and about the time he went to Brazil. If I had more time, I would spend the whole day there. Pouring local craft beers yourself is an awesome experience. Totally worth it!

We visited Beer Point for drinks on a Saturday night, the system is simple you buy a card for 300 CZK (ÂŁ11), 270 of this you use for beer with the other 30 a refundable deposit for the card, you can more money on your card if required. There are 14 Czech beers on tap for you to self serve, put your card next to the beer and pour, your credit shows on the screen. The staff were great in getting you started and the beer was brilliant.

Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city.
