As a fan of beer and trying different types I was really looking forward to sampling 1 or 2 of the 30 beers on offer and hoping to learn a little about local brews from enthusiastic staff. Unfortunately we left rather unimpressed, first off the service was poor and the gentleman who served us seemed to want to be anywhere but here. We decided to order tasting boards, consisting of five samples of different beers. I opted to the flavour board, upon arrival of my beers I noticed a very dark beer (not my favourite) I checked the bill which stated a beer I did not order, I questioned this with the staff who simply and quite rudely said it was the correct order l, I showed him the menu which clearly stated it was not wht I ordered. He then said the beer is wanted was not there so he gave me this instead, It would have been nice to have been informed of the swap as I certainly would not have opted for such a dark beer. The other beers were delicious and there certainly is plenty to choose from I just feel there are other places in Prague with better service and prices.

A lot of taps to choose from. Fortunately they do flights of five beers (0.15 liters), so you can sample and taste before ordering your favorite pint. A couple of great IPA’s on offer. I had some food as well, a meat skewer (chicken) that was a bit overpriced (two skewers and some fries for 250 CZK) for Prague. But the variety of beers and the price-quality ratio of them was excellent (a pint for around CZK 80). The staff did their best, but there were only two of them and they were rushed of their feet in a full bar. So, the waiting time for service increased during the evening.

My twin brother Stephen and I were wandering around the wonderful Old a Town when we decided to drop in Prague Beer Museum, one of four such drinking establishments dotted throughout the city.
This Prague Beer Museum is superb, multi roomed ,an eye catching long serving bar with lots of beer taps attached, great decor and furnishings and lots of seating options,it's just a great beer destination .
We were here on a really hot Thursday afternoon ,we chose ipa's from Bernard Brewery, these were served in excellent condition being iced cold and sparkling and with the distinctive foamy head so beloved by the Czech's ,we just kicked back, chilled out and took in the great pub we were in.
My ipa was exceptional ,a crisp, well balanced ipa, hints of toffee,a delicious aroma and aftertaste with a slight bitter finish to it,a really refreshing beer that certainly cut through the thirst.
We really enjoyed our ipa's in here before we moved on and as on every other visit to here we had a great time.
This Prague Beer Museum is easy to locate along Smetanovo Nabrezi in the Old a Town,a street and area teeming with pubs, bars and restaurants and awesome architecture and a major tourist destination .
Opening hours are;
Monday to Thursday,3pm till 2am.
Friday to Sunday,11am till 2am.
Well worth checking out if you're in the area.

On saturday 9th we visited your institution in the company of 5 people. At first the evening was great - we were pleasantly surprised by the variety of beers and the atmosphere. But when it came time to pay the bill, the impression, thanks to the actions of the staff, was finally spoiled. Waiters, bartender and most importantly, the manager do not know how to operate the cash register system, and besides, I do not know what kind of system is installed in the device. Asking for a copy of the check in order to understand how we can split it we were refused, stating that we have to pay immediately because they have already closed it in the system. With difficulty, we were able to persuade to split the bill. At the same time, we were told that such a problem appeared because of the Ukrainians who served us. In connection with the current situation in Ukraine, I believe that this should not be discussed at all in the current circumstances. But this is the smallest of the problems about which it was possible to keep silent referring to the full institution and the large number of guests. But then one of the girls of the company broke the glass. Then, bartenders from Serbia beat her boyfriend avoiding all sorts of conversations. One held him and the other beat him. The guy tried to enter into a dialogue but was ignored. The rest of the staff watched in silence. This act, committed by the employees of your institution, was captured on video and will be provided for further investigation.I would like to note that when I began to communicate with the "manager" of the institution, the only thing that worried them that day was the amount of tips. And when I started asking questions about how their system works and what it's called, the employees tried to end the conversation and were clearly frightened by the presence of a video that compromising them, since they stopped beating when they realized that they were filmed. I will ask the administration of the institution for feedback and possible resolution of the conflict since I worked for a long time in the bar sphere and consider such actions unacceptable.

This is a clean and tidy bar which had dozens of differing beers on tap. The service was quick efficient and the bar staff courteous. There was live music in the form of two guitarists who were excellent musicians and played a wide variety of easy listening songs. The volume was at a reasonable level so you could still hold a conversation without shouting.
Located in a central position and by the river was an ideal location for the passing tourist. The toilets are located on a level below which is accessed via a spiral stairway so not the best for those with disabilities. There may be provision for disabled persons but I didn't see any.
All in all this is a bar worth a visit for the beer alone and it certainly had a great atmosphere on the Saturday night that we visited.

We visited on an evening in December. By all accounts a tourist period. While every other pub was full, this had many empty tables, which should have rang a bell. There are many options of beer, around 30... and thats where the positives end. The decoration and lighting looked like it belonged to a train station cafeteria. The food tasted substandard even for fast food especially the chicken nuggets. The music... "Funkytown"? "YMCA"? "All star"? Does it sound like a pub? Everyone looked uncomfortable. In the end we decided to cut our visit short and go look for another place to drink.
And the final nail in the coffin, the waiters were exceedingly insistent on us giving them tips, which we were going to give anyways but asking twice in 2 minutes is poor diplomacy to put it kindly.
Overall a tourist trap. I would avoid it if there were any other options available.
NOT to be confused with the actual Beer Museum, which is literally a Museum.

Great bar, with normal prices and a huge selection of beer. The bartender recommended a beer that is worth trying, very pleasant and tasty) There is also a lunch menu, small but decent. Very tasty goulash and knee! The portions are very large! Music is playing in the hall, the toilet is clean, there is also a breathalyzer machine downstairs, where for 20czk you can find out your alcohol level.

Me and my boyfriend ordered a beer and a cider today. After 15 minutes of waiting I got a warm beer when I called over the waiter he told me it's kept in the fridge and that there is nothing he can do. I'm sorry but warm beer isn't tasty and they did nothing to fix their mistakes.
The bar looks dirty and the stuff is very unorganised and rude. Don't go here.

Amazing, 30 beers on tap and you can do tasters of them all. Try the beer cocktails they’re also good. Staff are friendly and attentive, beers are incredible in taste and diversity. Tasting paddles in multiples of 5 were fairly priced, BUT if your looking to get drunk on cheap beer, Rob, then your in the wrong place. We will definitely visit next time We’re in Prague.

We had the best beef goulash of our entire trip here. Absolutely delicious large portions. The restaurant self was rather loud and the waiters were unfriendly and gave awful service, everyone in our vicinity had to go and find a waiter if they wanted to order something.
However the food was incredible so I would visit again.

Offering around 30 different beers, this ‘beer museum’ doesn’t disappoint. We didn’t have food as it was late when we arrived but enjoyed the drinks. Open until 2am which is a bonus as many places were closing at 11am (we only arrived in the city at 10:15pm). Remembering the names of the beers, never mind pronouncing them, was never going to happen. But the cherry beer they served was fantastic. I recommend choosing their ‘try 5’ option (0,15l) and make your way across the bar!

There are four Prague Beer Museum's in Prague and on any holiday I take to this most beautiful of city's I always visit them all ,this one in the Old Town facing the Vltava River is a favourite of ours.
Housed in a wonderful looking building ,interior is superb ,great decor and furnishing, lots of seating options and a cool looking serving bar with 30 beer taps ,it's just a great pub to chill out in .
We were here on a Thursday night ,snow falling heavily ,my twin brother Ste and I dropped into here ,we had a study of their beers and in the end we both opted to have beers from Bernard Brewery, these dark beers were served in excellent condition ,we chilled out and took in the great pub we were in.
My beer was really good ,very dark ,malty ,iced cold and bursting with taste ,it was just so good being in such a fantastic pub enjoying a quality beer and sat with my twinny Ste,best beer companion in the world.
We really enjoyed our beers in here before we moved on and as on every other visit to here we had a great time.
This Prague Beer Museum is easy to locate along Smetanovo Nabrezi.

Well worth checking out if you're in the Old Town ( Stare Mesto ).

I have spent many years visiting the Czech Republic but seldom been spoken to so rudely , guy serving had no idea how to show any respect to a person who always prides themself in being polite and courteous, even if there is a language barrier at times . My advice is learn some respect for customers not just locals but visitors alike , without customers an establishment will cease to exist !!! If I spoke to my customers the way I was publicly grunted at , I would have no business at all.
The positives , fantastic building and selection of beers , in a great location along the river . Just such a shame I left absolutely raging at how o was treated.

Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
