Folklore dinner show.
Easy to get there from the old city.
All musicians are talented and entertaining with funny skits.
Wine server carries very special bottles(white wine on Rt shoulder and red on Lt ) and pours from the distance without spilling a drop.
Also, we were pulled out to dance with staffs in traditional music.
So much fun with delicious local cuisine.
Keeping up for the rich tradition is very respectable.
Highly recommend.

Outside the city limits, about 15 w/o traffic this restaurant is located in a suburb area. Staff very attentive, the show with original folklore music and dances, fabulous. Food, tasty and plentiful. It is worth the trip.

The place is perfect for a typical evening. The evening menu includes traditional Czech dishes, drinks are unlimited, but especially during dinner you can benefit from typical music and entertainment, with costumed staff, to make this atmosphere even more magical. Recommended.

The quality of the food just wasn’t up to par — the duck was dry; soup and desert were ok. The show was entertaining but after one hour of the same stuff it gets old. While I think the show was entertaining 30-40 years ago, it needs some updating. Food quality could certainly been better.

Easy to get to by metro.
Atmosphere was great - really fun! Obviously a bit touristy given it’s nature but an excellent way to spend an evening doing something a bit different.
Food was good, staff were very attentive and generous (!) with the drinks. Their ability to get the crowd up and involved was also very impressive!
Definitely recommend if you’re wanting an evenings entertainment.

The food was amazing. I really enjoyed the mains and dessert.
The dancing, music and singing was great. They are a really talented bunch.
Our whole group had a huge amount of fun, really enjoyed the audience participation.

This was on our group programme for our last night in Prague. I wasn't sure, as its clearly for tourists, and not the kind of thing I would usually do. However, the musicians were talented and the singing and dancing engaging. The real talent of all of them was the way they got the audience to participate! I haven't laughed so much for ages!
The food was OK and the wine was terrible. Stick to the beer if you go.
I was really glad I went and enjoyed it a lot.

On the evening of December 10th we booked a cultural evening through our AMAWaterways cruise at a restaurant and entertainment facility in Prague. Thirty-eight of the 55 passengers who had booked the pre-tour in Prague went on it. It was a wonderful evening and well worth the extra charge.
Restaurant "U Marčanů" is situated not far from the Prague Castle and offers entertainment mostly to foreign visitors. Typical Czech meals and drinks are served here. For our group wine, beer and soft drinks were included at no extra charge.
The wine is served from special glass pipes, which are used in the wine-cellars of Southern Moravia.
Our meal was “Halušky“ (a typical country meal made from potatoes with ham and cabbage), meat on the skewer, creamy baked potatoes, croquettes, string beans with bacon and for dessert - a pancake with fruit, ice-cream and whipped cream.

I recently attended the 'Folklore Party' with my mom, sister and a few friends from our river cruise. The whole evening was wonderful! We enjoyed the local food, the music and the continual flowing wine! Those were some talented musicians! Be prepared to be pulled into the show.

So much fun and so unexpected. It was amazing to see how they got everyone-and I mean everyone- to participate. It was truly an enjoyable experience because they were so many surprises starting with how the wine served. Please give it a try. I can't imagine that you would be disappointed

The cultural show is excellent the food is good and traditional the alcohol flows very freely for a cultural evening it is great accept what it is and enjoy!

We went as part of a tour with other tours meeting up with us. It was a small group as its off season, so I thought we were in for a long night. By the end, I was pleasantly surprised. The musicians and singer were very engaging and funny. We laughed a lot, we danced, we played instruments and we had a great time with people from all over the world. They were very accommodating to my vegetarian request.

We were with a large group and the place was packed. Still, the service was fast, friendly and efficient. The food was traditional and so plentiful and filling, but not really memorable. The entertainment was a Czech traditional show, with lots of singing and dancing, including some audience participation. There were examples of songs and dances from different areas. I learned that a dudy is bagpipes made from a goat, and they play a hammer dulcimer-like instrument called a cimbal. I can't speak for the deep authenticity, but it was lots of fun and the entertainers seemed genuinely interested in showing us a good time. So did the rest of the staff. The unlimited beer and wine were ok, too. Let your hair (and guard) down and join the fun!
