Tasteless food, non attentive staff, who charged us for something we never got, very very overpriced even in comparison to restaurant's in the Old Town. Just sad experience after reading so many good reviews.

It's the only Iranian restaurant in Prague (as far as I know) so it's easy to call it the best. But I've been to many Iranian restaurant on 3 different continents and I most say this one despite the appearance is perfectly fine. The location...and interior design, although small and cozy, is not the best but the food is good!More
10 out of 10 I was really satisfied, waiter was good, food was really good, I'm Iranian chef myself and went into the restaurant with doubt but came out happy 😁 Price was a bit high but portion was good enough Thanks from chef and...the owner!More
We visited in a group of 4 for a lunch mid-week. My friend as a vegetarian was surprised by the offer of the lunch buffet menu. They have a variety of salads, there were 1 or 2 soups, dishes made with aubergine, spinach and other...veggies, they had felafel and cauliflower, the bulgur was really well seasoned, a bit spicy. From the meat dishes there were chicken thighs, a beef stew and a mixed rice with some minced meat. The price is extremely affordable, it is around 8 or 9 Euro. On top of the buffet we ordered some grilled lamb from the menu, it was really delicious. They have also the ayran yogurt drink, a wide variety of lemonades and a ligh beer on tap.More
Lamb stew came with two small cubes of lamb in a watery sauce with lentils and a plateful of rice. When we asked for more lamb we got another two cubes. The vegan option was lentils in a watery sauce with a plateful of rice....The only flavour was that of cinnemon. Desert was not bad - ice cream with frozen noodles and sour cherry sauce.More
Dear customer, our stew portions are standardly served with meat calculated in raw state. Sometimes it gives 2 pieces, sometimes 3. The meat can not be cut in 100% regular pieces. Also for the price of lamb on the market we hope you understand we...More
I've lived in the Middle East and have eaten in Persian restaurants on 3 continents. Although Aubergine is not "terrible," the food, service, and "value" leave so much to be desired that I would consider it the most unsatisfactory Iranian restaurant in which I've ever...eaten. It's small, dark, without most amenities, advertises a "buffet lunch" that doesn't seem to exist, and puts on its short menu a number of other dishes that were "unavailable" when I went there for lunch. The dish I eventually got--after a long wait in a virtually deserted room--was thin, watery, lacking substance and, while edible, the worst version of its kind I've ever eaten. And it's also no bargain, price-wise. Go elsewhere!More
Thank you for your rating, anyway if you visited on Saturday, the buffet is not available and there is only a la carte. You didn't name the dish you chosen so we cannot comment on it but probably it was a stew. Our menu is...More
It was not at all a restaurant where you feel welcome, it was as if the staff did not want more customers, will never go down in that basement restaurant.More
Dear sir, we really hope you had a reservation as it is started on all of our sites. We are a SMALL family restaurant struggling with groups of 15 people coming without reservation and than complaining that they didn't feel welcome. We have some rules,...More
Great Persian food with warm and cozy environment and friendly staff. 100% recommended! The owener welcomed me with a student discount :)
Thank you for your nice words and rating. We are happy that you liked our place and food. We really appreciate it.
I love Persian food and this restaurant didn’t disappoint. My partner is Persian and he took me to this restaurant with his family and I really enjoyed the lovely food. I would definitely recommend trying it out.
Thank you very much for your nice review and recommendation. We truly appreciate your support.
Went for a lunch buffet. The soup was nice/interesting, the rest just not good, or rather bad. The only interesting-looking meal was not available and, when we asked when it would be restocked, we were told "Not anymore, it's Friday" (it was 12:45!). Overall a...sad experience.More
Dear customers, the lunch is a no fuss budget option for a ridiculous 7.8€ for the local busy people. They usually come at 11.30 and finish everything by 12.30. Also it is UNLIMITED consumption, so if you arrive late, it is likely you don't find...More
My partner is Persian himself and he enjoys the food a lot. We can recommend Ghormeh Sabzi, Kashke Bademjoon and all kebabs. Restaurant is quite small, but very nice. It is possible to order food for pick up, or to eat at the spot. Owners...are very friendly, sweet people. I would recommend this restaurant to people who like to discover flavors of middle eastern cuisine.More
Dear Annie, thank you for your heartwarming words, we truly appreciate your support and positive energy!!!
For the last few months I've been trying out lunch buffets around Prague. Sadly, this is the worst I've been to so far :( Waitress was very unattentive. I had to ask for my drink order after sitting waiting for over 5minutes. Then, an additional...10 minutes later - and after eating my first plate - I had to ask again! I read that a free small beer was included in the buffet price (which others seemed to be given) yet I wasn't offered such deal. The food was fine, didn't seem to be any meat options though which was rather strange. Won't be back again, mostly due to the neglected service.More
Dear sir, thank you for your review. We are truly sorry about your experience. About the service, one of our waitresses doesn't speak English, it may be possible that she is rather shy with foreign guests. Of course we admonished all of our staff about...More
Not so authentic. Low quality. We asked for flat bread as what’s in the menu... but we got sliced supermarket made baguette! And the waitress claimed that this is “flat bread”! Also we received lamb instead of the chicken because they were out of chicken...but without asking us before. Plus 2 extra portions of rice. Brought another wine without us asking for it! They replaced parts of our order without asking us as they liked!More
Dear Madame or Sir, we are very sorry that your experience was not perfect and we apologise. The waitress is new and she might have messed up some things. She has been informed about this review. Just about your remarks about low quality, was the...More
