We stopped here for a quick drink and a bite to eat. I had pork goulash and dumplings which was good for a quick lunch. My wife had goats cheese. Beer was very cheap at 34 crowns (just over £1 a pint ) The whole bill was around £12 for both of us.

We have eaten here a dinner at around 8 PM. The waiters were pretty rude, they did not pay a lot of attention to us, and were visibly upset only because my wife could not decide what to drink right away (when they first came to us)... Also, we had to wait for the cheque more than usual.

The dishes should be accompanied with a side, but, one side is enough for two people. We also had... More

As we explored Prague neighborhoods away from the tourist crowds, we looked up this restaurant for a late lunch. It was nearly empty at that time. There were racks of pretzels on each table. My fish was good, veggies a bit overcooked. Husband's Wiener Schnitzel veal cutlet was greasy. He also reported that there was no toilet paper in the... More

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
