Nice place!

Local food, good prices, good service, what's not to like! We had pork wrapped with bacon;Whole trout, both with chips, apple strudel and chocolate fondant, both with ice cream and whipped cream.

We were recommended to eat at U Betlemske kaple by the manager of our apartment, and we were very impressed. We ate at slightly different times, including quite late. The food was tasty, there were good options, the portions were very large, and of course the beer was great. We liked the décor, that looked a bit like a church/chapel.... More

Very nice food, friendly waiters, and good beers. Nothing to complain whatsoever! And there was even a problem to add the tip on the credit card :-)

I spend a lot of time in Prague as my sister lives almost next door to this place, and it has consistently been a good choice for Czech cuisine in a relaxed atmosphere. None of the usual stroppy service that you are usually stuck with, though English is a bit hit and miss depending on who is working. Roasted pork... More

Traditional Czech dishes at good prices. The servings were very generous sizes, and we particularly enjoyed the dumplings.

Like a previous reviewer has said, you just get a good feeling about a place as soon as you enter and we knew that U Betlemske Kaple was going to be a goodie. Friendly staff, reasonable prices, good portion sizes, and traditional Czech Fair - what more could you ask for. Being just a few minutes walk from the main... More

Love this place, from the moment we walked in, we knew it would be good, friendly, courteous waiters, lots of beers to choose from and great snacks, loved the carved wooden seats, overall very good.

We had goulash soup, fried cheese with French fries and chicken pepper. No bad but taste and quality 2/5. Nothing special but on the other side food is very cheap.

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
