If you would like to have a bit above average meal, you can enter this place. Their daily menu (one - two kinds of soup, only one kind of main dish) is creative, often very tasty. However, the place has both cigarette and non-cigarette space which are connected and when you want to enter the bathroom, you have to go... More

So this place had good reviews and I was in the area so I wanted to try it out. Upon entering it was just a whole bunch of red Color everywhere. Staff was nice and accommodating, however I did have to wait forever to pay once I wanted to leave. I don't like that much. I got a ginger tea... More

Had there our breakfast. Was really nice and service was good. Foods are fresh, coffee is delicious and price is reasonable. Definitely try!

I can't say enough positive things about this fabulous restaurant - service was friendly and efficient, food was outstanding and very reasonably priced. Seating was very comfortable and there was room enough to actually slide your chair back without hitting other diners. We happened upon this place quite by accident but it will definitely be on our list of places... More

If you are tired of creamy czech food, you can try any kind of pasta you choose from the menu of Cafe Colore. You should also try some czech wine with it. Bon appetite.

There are many people at lunch time. It's better to reserve it before if you want good seats. Because of a full cafe, service is bad and slow, maybe in other time it will be better. The design is rather good but with some minuses, there is no conditions and very ugly ventilation across the restaurant. Bad lunch without any... More

Nice spot for breakfast. We had the American breakfast, bacon and eggs were lovely. Nice tables on the street to sit and enjoy the sun

Luckily back at Cafe Colore after our first visit in April. Best to book as it gets busy and you can see why. Service very friendly, food great - we had the stuffed chicken with parmesan fries and prawn risotto - both spot on. As with many restaurants in Prague, try and save enough room for a treat from the... More

We came here following trip advisor reviews, quite easy to find and had an excellent meal. Would describe as Italian Czech fusion set in Laura Ashley inspired small bookshop, and all I mean in a very good way. Comforting Czech broth, followed by pork and peppers aubergine and courgette. I had chicken breast wrapped in pancetta and with fries laced... More

We had cofee and some pastries, which were good. Service was quick and friendly. The smell of cigarette was a bit disturbing though.

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
