Went here with my girlfriends. The food was nice, drinks too. The staff is fine. It seems to be a popular place among locals although not sure why. The decor is fine. What made us upset was when we were paying with card. The card machine asked us if we want to pay in Czech or Euro. We chose Euro... More

Fun little place, me and my girlfriend came for dinner. I had the schnitzel and she had carbonara and we were both very pleased with the food and it was really good value too. The place itself was really nicely decorated and it felt relaxed. The only issue was with the service, it took a while for anyone to ask... More

We had never heard of this place, but went in there impulsively as we were passing by after a theathe show. The athmosphere is very cozy and relaxed and the food is some of the best I've had in Prague. Everything was well cooked and nicely presented. They also have a big selection of cakes and the ones we picked... More

The place is spacious and has a good atmosphere. I ordered the Hanger steak which was nice and the wife ordered the salmon. We had cakes for dessert. Plus 2 glasses of wine and a water. Cost 1000czk/£30/300dkk. Not bad at all. The staff were tired but still friendly and spoke English. Note: there is a smoking area in the... More

The best way to start the next day in Prague, a glass of champagne with dessert and coffee! The charge of vivacity and good mood!

We dropped in Cafe Colore when we were in Prague and had some excellente soup and very tasty coffee for a good price. The café is stylished furnished, therefore it had a very nice atmosphere. The bathroom were clean although there were quite a lot of customers. Most of the waiters were nice, some of them could smile a little... More

This place is great if you smoke. The food is all well cooked and interesting and delivered quickly. Drinks are also varied and we have eaten both breakfast and dinner here. The staff are lovely (although implacable about closing time!) and it's comfortable and warm. BUT if you don't smoke, it's really really horrible to sit there surrounded by quite... More

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
