For sure my new go-to spot for breakfast (which they serve all day...which is rare in the city). I ordered a side of "Baked bacon" (see pics)...and got 8 perfect pieces of bacon for about $1.50 US. The crepe with "white cheese and raisins"...OMG so good! Everything I got came in large portions. Huge place. Be ready to take extra... More

We visited on a Sunday as Cafe Colore is one of the few places open for dinner, & the food was lovely & very well priced. Drinks were also cheap & the staff very attentive. Would go again!

I am back in Prague and although I have tried other restaurants, Cafe Colore is still the favorite. The food is exceptional and this year they added tapas to their menu but what impresses everyone I take their is their friendly service. Owner Martin Novak sets the tone by welcoming all of his guests and is everywhere making sure the... More

We went their twice. The first time was perfect. The food was great , service excellent . Second time on a Saturday was somewhat less impressive. I ordered exactly the same thing, and like the day before I asked them to take off the ham and replace it with cheese but they still served the ham and put the cheese... More

We stopped in this comfortable café, with book cases full of books, one rainy afternoon. The snacks and soup were excellent, so we went back for dinner, and lunch, and dinner again! The desserts are incredible, made with fresh ingredients. The other dinners are excellent as well...my sister and I ate two courses (we couldn't resist the cheesecake10, wine, sparkling... More

Perfect coffee place for refreshments or light snacks. Good wifi and usually not too crowded. Delicious smoothies and decent espresso. Not too far from the Franz Kafka shifting head statue, which is worth checking out!

Unexpected place for very good breakfast - English one with several combinations of meal or you can do yourself by ingredients. Tasty, fresh, with good service and fast WiFi, which is important for tourists.

Staying in Nove Mesto (New Town)

Neighborhood Profile
Nove Mesto (New Town)
Nearly 700 hundred meters long, Wenceslas Square represents the most frequent and buzzing crossroads of the city. The National Museum in the upper part of the square watches over your spending spree in countless shops and retail stores lining the entire square, which ends at Na Příkopě, the most famous shopping street. When tired or broke, you can explore the city's underpasses, which can take you to the Old Town or to the courtyards of art nouveau houses with secret gems of greenery, white benches and rose bushes that provide unexpected peace in the midst of the city. Be sure to pay a visit to the traditional cafés, classic Czech pubs, cinemas and theaters. National Theater near the river has a lot to offer to foreigners. Go to the river bank and enjoy live music and drinks while watching a sunset behind Prague Castle.
