Had the duck with cabbage and bread dumplings and it was very good. I also had the strudel but it was very small yet the person I was with got a huge cheesecake for the exact same price. The guy serving us had absolutely no...joy about him at all, not sure I’ve seen someone hate their job or life so much before.More

Only 5 miunutes wait when we arrived without a reservation. Very good dark beer Livovel. Waiters were friendly. Fried Cheese and Gulash were decent. Price was not too bad for this location.

Very good food and nice clean place. The waitors were friendly and funny in good local way. Gulass and vegetarian gnochhies were soooo delicious. Apricot schnapps sealed the lunch!

Best place for great food at excellent price. We had three course meal, drinks and a Baileys to finish, less than £40. Friendly, police service too. Wee recommended.

Fairly good food and fast table delivery. Next time with a table of italians don’t make them be served by a waiter who’s clearly angry with Italians. It wasn’t nice to see him mumbling all the time just because we walked in or we asked...a menu when he thought we shouldn’t. Nice service from the other waiters though.More

At any other restaurant they welcome you saying something like "Hi, how can.I help you?". They prefer a different, way starting with some Czech words and after I said sorry several times, finally he changed to English but in a very rude way. It was...most an invitation to leave the restaurant than an invitation to take a seat. No worries, we had a nice lunch at U PIVRNCEMore

Come for lunch. Party of 4. The 2 ladies ordered the only soup of the day available on the menu. The rest ordered beef and chicken. When the waiter/manager took order from the ladies, he almost yelled at them “ONLY SOUP” then “MEAT OR ONION”....When time for him to serve the drinks, he dropped our two drafts of beer, did not bother to pour the water from the bottle to the glass as a two star restaurant waiter would do. Funny that at the end, he loudly pointed at the 20% tip button on his credit card machine and told us “YOU NEED TO PRESS”. Well, hardly to say that he deserved any. A fast food employee is more professional than this. Terrible service. The broth based soup is Ok. The fried chicken breast also. Nothing special.More

We've been coming to this restaurant several times over the last years, as it offers great Czech food at very affordable prices. On Easter day we paid a visit and, despite the place being very full, they managed to find us a table and we...were served rather quickly. We ordered a grilled duck and Svickova; the meals were delicious, served piping-hot, portions large and the waiters were very efficient and friendly. We definitely enjoyed our time and we were happy to have chosen once again this unpretentious yet lovely restaurant.More

Fantastic food, great service and very polite waiters. The place is classically decorated and the background music was gentle and slow, creating the perfect vibe for a lunch in the heart of Prague.

My girlfriend and I went to a nearby restaurant but, disliking their special offers, we remembered visiting U labuti a few years ago and loving it, so we took the decision of heading there for dinner. The place is 2-min by walk from the castle,...has several indoor rooms and various outdoor tables, where we decided to stay. The place was empty on a Friday evening, but that didn't discourage us and we were greeted by friendly waiters and ordered a Svickova (the waiter recommended it to me) and a Duck leg. The food was lovely, price very fair for both the quantity and quality of what we were served, and we overall spent a lovely evening. This place definitely deserves a larger crowd!More

Great find indeed ! In all those years coming to Prague we somehow missed this restaurant. We had more time to explore the Castle area at night, since we were staying nearby in the Hotel Savoy for part of our trip. The location of the...restaurant on the Hradcanske Square across from the Schwarzenberk Palace made it super easy to walk back to the hotel at night after dinner. It is especially nice when the area clears out from the hordes of tourists We loved the beautiful dining room , the well prepared Czech food, beer and above all, the very friendly service. Till next time, Dekuji a NashledanouMore
