I booked the afternoon visit with the snail degustation by phone. We were warmly welcomed by the owner, personally. The short excursion explained to us the principles of snail farming. Inside, in a cozy gazebo, we enjoyed a warm woodburning stove, and in a minute...we experienced the feeling of being at the home of a real snail expert, indeed. We were introduced to the mysteries of snail cooking and excited by the number of recipes available, mostly one's own. The whole menu is always prepared from fresh snails only!!! The food we were offered was extremely aromatic, tasty and really delicious! I was just sorry to be there as a car driver, as it was not possible to during the vine for me :-( I was not able to resist the possibility to take snail food home. The only deficiency was the lack of comfortable sanitary facilities. But in my eyes, it was counterbalanced by the professionalism of the owner and food quality.More
