While enjoying Old Town in an alley by the Tyne church, this jewel awaits. The food and service is excellent. I suggest the chicken caeser salad and the roast duck.....to die for! The surroundings are nice and you feel apart of history. I recommend highly.

Four person lunch with a few pints of beer and everyone loved their meals! Two were from North America (Canada/USA) but the other two were locals. We made selections that were fairly typical of Czech food tastes. The winning potato pancakes with red cabbage, a...fine sauce and fries cured pork under each potato cake. They reminded me of Spanish Tapas... great tasting...but could have eaten a bunch more! The two locals split a 1/2 roasted duck. Again, delicious. Moiste... veg integrated into the meal. Rolled pork roast with sliced dumplings... seriously, they looked like slices of white bread! I had the hotel speciality which was a suspended pork skew with roasted vegetables... fried potato wedges with a mayo sauce. All delicious! The price? About 60 euros. Not cheap food but you get what you pay for!More

The hotel is tucked away less than 100mts from the town square making for easy access to the square. There was three of us so booked the triple room which had plenty of room for all. There was a large entry with cupboards and a...separate large bathroom. The room overlooked a quiet street. The breakfast was great with hot food, cold selection, cereals and plenty of tea and coffee. Had a meal in the restaurant one evening and we all enjoyed our selections. There are plenty of other food ideas withim easy walking distance and the subway is about 500mts easy walk. Handy to numerous attractions and shopping. Found the staff very helpful and polite in all areas of the hotel.More

Lovely atmosphere in a restaurant with lots of history. We were delighted with choice of food. The waiters were excellent. Good prices. Really enjoyed food and wine. Will certainly return next time in Prague and would like to stay in the hotel

This hotel was perfectly located and so enjoyed by my wife and I. Picturesque rooms with an intimate dining area and small bar that was perfect for a stein of Beer before we took off on another adventure. The people there were pleasant and helpful...and we can’t wait to go back. What an awesome introduction to this part of Europe for the two of us.More

I dined here twice during my stay in Prague, which qualifies my opinion that this is the best establishment I found to sample local cuisine. On both occasions, I found the service, the dining experience, and most important, the food, to be of good quality....The portions are generous and satisfying and I found the prices to be very reasonable. In summary, this restaurant met all of my criteria.More

Beautiful, old gothic style building. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was free with stay, buffet style, and very good. Just steps from Old Town Square. Offers help with setting up tours, general information, directions, and getting rides to and from the airport. I really love...the old feel, the atmosphere of the area, and the look of this hotel. The restaurant for dinner seems very popular too. Best place I’ve stayed on this trip!More

Lovely hotel restaurant with great staff, but we felt that the food was not quite up to standard that we had experienced previously in Prague. We had the pork steak with dumplings, but found the meal very dry. we cannot fault the location or staff,...but were left a little disappointed.More

On a recent weekend trip to Prague, I visited this restaurant for lunch and then again for dinner that evening. I guess that the fact that I went twice is comment in itself. The restaurant is located in a very interesting building just off the...main town square of Prague. A three course lunch menu was less than £12 and was of good quality. The evening meal was also good with the venison pate as excellent. Service was friendly and prompt. Other diners included locals, always a good sign. The cuisine is simple and straightforward but, within these constraints, very good. Well worth a visit and just a step away from the more touristy town square.More

We ate in this charming restaurant during a long weekend in Prague. It is located a stone's throw from the Old Town Square. The menu offers a selection of traditional Czech dishes as well as restaurant standards like ribs, steaks etc. The service was friendly...and efficient and the food was well-prepared and tasty. The staff spoke very good English - in fact, our waiter also spoke French, German, Arabic and Czech! Price-wise, it was not the cheap end of the market but it was very reasonable for the meal that we had. Recommended.More

One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the

in the background, is probably the most beautiful
