This place has a warm and homely feel. We lunched here and the quality of the meals impressed us. I would say the schnitzel was first rate and the potato salad that came with it was about the best I've had. The only thing we found disconcerting was that after we ordered our meal the waiter brought us a plate... More

My mother and I first visited this restaurant in December 2014 and were that impressed we decided to go again on another visit to Prague mid June 2016. The restaurant is very intimate and cosy and everything is home made. Unlike some of the reviews here we actually thought the two staff (probably the owners we would imagine as it... More

The restaurant is in the old part of Prague, Stare Mesto, and has a sort of oldfashioned atmosphere. There are several small and quite cosy rooms and we had one to ourselves, like a private dining room. The food was very good and so was the service. The winelist however was not very impressive. We tried a chech one, and... More

Walking around the centre, from the Charles bridge to the Klementinum we found this lovely place, almost by mistake... more attract by the sign: inside garden than from the menu... Inside was very gorgeous, very cosy and romantic. The owmer invited us in a small dining room that we shared with other 2 tables. Such small place that we started... More

A very sweet little restaurant - there were only four tables so it was very cosy, and the food was delicious. We had an aperitif of the traditional Becherovka as recommended by the owner, which was fantastic. The food was quite traditional and all home made; when i return to Prague this will be my first meal! Very well priced... More

We ate here one time, our lunch. At first it looked ok, but when we wanted to order something not from the menus the waiter gave us, he was very upset and commented something. The meal was ok, the food was relatively tasty. The kids ate snitzel with fries and we ate goulash spicy not spicy at all. When we... More

Food is normal, nothing special. The waiter, a boy with short hair was very impolite, not helpful and always commenting when we asked about the menu of the day. It was like "why these guys want the menu of the day?". I felt not welcome there, just because of his behaviour. If you want to feel good, choose another place.

What a great find right in the heart of old town between the square and Charles bridge. Imagine your grandmother wanted to open a restaurant featuring her favorite Checzk dishes. She decides to open it right in the living room and family room of her 600 year old home. This is pretty much what you would get. Good friendly food.... More

We stumbled across this restaurant (as had not been recommended previously) and must say we are so glad that we did. The authentic old fashioned decor and furniture really adds to the setting. The dining room is small and most only take around 15 covers but again this just makes it feel more homely. The menu offers all the usual... More

Neighborhood Profile
Stare Mesto (Old Town)
One of the oldest neighborhoods in town represents the medieval heart of Prague. It’s no surprise it is bustling with tourists every time of day. Križovnický square, overlooking Charles Bridge with Prague Castle in the background, is probably the most beautiful square in the city. Its unique historical atmosphere of gothic houses and churches, cobblestone streets and squares, and stone towers blend together with the modern era. A vast array of bars, restaurants, dance clubs, international brand shops, galleries and hotels bring life to the old city. With its charming and picturesque cobblestone streets, the nightlife and parties will surely be unforgettable.
