The food was delicious.View was really beautiful.Staff wanted to make sure that everything was perfect. They treated like kings and the price range was really low compare to what they offer.

The food was lovely and the experience was excellent. The staff go out of their way to make sure you feel at home. We had a complimentary starter along with a complimentary cake at the end. The wine was lovely and the food was very...well presented. The views are also a plus! Would recommend to anyone.More

great location on seventh floor of dancing house building, with views across to castle if you had a table near window, which we didn't! In fact when we booked at last minute they even tried to put us off because they didn't have a table...with a view! Nice modern decor, service initially very good but deteriorated somewhat when it got busier later. The initial filling of wine glass by waiters soon became your own job. On that subject when our mains had been taken no one returned at all or asked us if we wanted desert or coffee. Found that odd, generally running a restaurant business you would think you would want to do this, not just to keep your customers happy but also to increase your profits! Food was good, especially monkfish, in fact most of menu is fish. Well cooked, tasty, smallish portions, perfect for us though. Overall good but slightly let down by service this night. Enjoyed the after dinner views from the bar above, even in the rain!More

We had an early dinner there which was a total surprise. The food was stellar and the owner had excellent choices of wine. They had a special wine list of good value choices. View was bonus. I recommend it.

Everything from the venue, the service, the food, the wine, the drinks, the toilets, absolutely everything was top notch. One of the best restaurants I've ever visited, and very reasonable. Much better than Kampa, which we visited the night before.

The food was okay but way overpriced compared to other restaurants in Prague. You have to decide if you want to pay for ambience or rather the view vs portion and price.

We went to this elegant restaurant which occupies the 7th floor of the iconic Dancing House and we had been pleasantly surprised given that the reviews were not all favorable. It is currently as not well ranked as it surely deserves! As we write it...is just 211th and we have been to higher-ranked restaurants in Prague which were not significantly better. It has a marvelous view of Prague, the food is great and the way the dishes are presented is painstakingly studied. The wine list is also extensive and the service is first-rate. All of this comes at a remarkably low price. The only problem may be that the restaurant is not exactly in the city centre and you have got to walk a bit (or get a cab) after dinner to reach the most celebrated attractions of Prague like the Charles Bridge or the Old Town Square.More

Great view and wonderful dishes on the menu. We'll worth the elevator ride. The service was very attentive without being annoying. Incredible soup and the mains were fantastic. Good wine list and great cheese and after dinner liquor trollies.

I've been here for New Years Eve twice, once in 09/10 and again in 12/13 (I wasn't allowed to go that far back on the date, but really wanted to give this place the praise it deserves), so obviously I was very happy with the...atmosphere, food and value. Both times I was with a large group of people so we got the top floor with a spectacular view almost to ourselves. The view here is one of the best I've had while dining. And as an architect student, celebrating New Years in a Gehry building was absolute bliss. The design of the actual restaurant is modern, tasteful and stilish. The menues were well put together and eventhough everything was tasty, the maincourses both times I've been here has been absolutly magical. Meat that melts in your mouth with perfectly matched pures and vegetables, fish that tastes heavenly (and I'm not usually a fish person) and ah, I still dream of these every now and then! If I have to put my finger on something, the only thing I can think of is that a few of the dishes after the maincorses could be a bit heavy with the flavors (like well settled cheeses, then marispan). The second time I was there I had found out I was allergic (which they were brilliant about by the way), so I got sorbeet while everyone else got cheese, so I was happy out and got long jealous glances from the rest of the party ;) That same time we got a creme brulee as the last actual food dish as well, which was a fantastic finish! The sommelier did a great job for us and we were pretty well matched all through the courses, even though we couldn't always afford the one he initially suggested, there were always back up choices that worked beautifully! Once the clock struck twelwe we were served champagne with the best view in the city watching the fireworks over the river and looking up to the castle, just magnificent. Strongly recommended!More

Had dinner last Christmas Eve at Celeste with my fiance for our last night in Prague. We had booked a few weeks in advance through our hotel concierge and managed to get the greatest table with the most breathtaking view over the city, which was...the highlight of our stay. There was a set menu for Christmas Eve, I don't remember specific dishes we tried as this review is seriously overdue, but I can say that each and every course was from good to excellent. Dessert was a revelation. I am generally sceptical towards French cuisine (in terms that modern French restaurants - especially outside France - can be a bit pretentious and overvalued in my opinion), but at Celeste we enjoyed very special, imaginative and at the same time balanced courses. Service was excellent as expected and discrete. The atmosphere was very romantic and relaxed, with pleasant music and great lighting. Overall we had a very special Christmas Eve dinner away from home and will remember it for the years to come.More

Went for lunch and found it to be surprisingly casual. Fun, creative foods, but the highlight was after-dinner drinks on the top floor/terrace with the sommelier. The view of the river, the castle, and the city was breathtaking! Very romantic!

In the Dancing House building with spectacular views of Prague from both the restaurant and the roof deck above, this charming place served us a first rate lunch that was excellent value. I particularly appreciated the special attention they gave my celiac friend: gluten free...bread and careful vetting of everything that came out for her. Service was great and I thought the price was exceptionally friendly for this charming lunch. I'd say it's a "must stop" in Prague.More
