I am an Indian, working in Prague. Namaste India Palackeho is the first Indian restaurant that I visited after coming to Prague and I instantly fall in love with it. So me and my husband started visiting Namaste India frequently and it never disappointed us. The first thing to say about Namaste India is it is a place where you get a wonderful combination of ambiance, quality and authentic Indian food, wide variation of food items and excellent service. It offers buffet during lunch on all working days at a very reasonable price. The location of the restaurant is also wonderful, very close to the Museum at city centre - easily accessible with metro and trams. Another good thing about this restaurant is that the meats here are halal. In short, this a must visit restaurant if you want to enjoy Indian cuisine.

Prompt service. phoned in our order and was ready for us on arrival. Great selection, reasonably priced , food tasty. The food is fresh hot and delicious, Authentic Indian sub continent cuisine flavors. Excellent service. Staff are lovely, polite, friendly and helpful. I really recommend this restaurant to everyone for takeaway service during this corona virus pandemic situation when restaurant is close. I am grateful to the restaurant owner as they open their takeaway service daily.

This is easily my favorite Indian restaurant here in Prague. I eat here every week for lunch, sometimes twice a week. The food is tasty, fresh, affordable, and the service is outstanding - very friendly and accommodating staff. You won’t regret eating here.

My husband and I had lunch at Namaste India Palackeho and really enjoyed the entire meal. The restaurant is in a great location and is well decorated in a sumptuous and gorgeous manner, and they have plenty of tables. The servers are really friendly and accommodating, and they're well-versed in the dishes and spice level etc. Our favorite server was even nice enough to take a bunch of pictures of us and managed to teach us something about my husband's camera display that we didn't know existed. I wish I had gotten his name because he was great. The food was also really fantastic. I had the chicken vindaloo and my husband had chicken tikka masala and they were both really, really delicious. I thought the vindaloo's spice level was absolutely perfect. The naan is incredible as well. I doubt you could order anything off the menu that wasn't extremely well done, so please don't hesitate to try this place. Thanks to everyone at Namaste for a wonderful lunch in Prague that we'll always remember!

We ate here in January as part of my birthday & our wedding anniversary celebration. The food was outstanding, we eat in a lot of Indian restaurants and do a lot of Indian cooking as well, and this food was right up there! The staff were very attentive and helpful, the service was prompt and we loved the cellar ambiance. Thank you so much for looking after us so well, and apologies for this very late review! Thank you again.

This place is simply amazing. The food, the atmosphere, the staff! Quite amazing actually. I've been coming here for about a year and they never disappoint. While all the staff do provide an amazing service, I have to say that Mohamed is the most hardworking and always does his best to make sure the customers are satisfied! 10/10 would recommend to anyone who wants to have authentic Indian food in Prague.

Went for lunch buffet with family. Staff doesn't speak properly Czech language. The best is speak in English especially if it is your first visit there and you are not sure how does this place work. Usually in all you can eat restaurants you can take a new plate every time you finish your meal. In this one you have to use same plate during all your visit and we were not aware of it. We finished our first plate and they took our plates and cutlery, we went for another plate and they told us we have to use the same one as it is one plate one person. Anyway food was tasty and nice choice of dishes.

My boyfriend and I had dinner here last night. The decor was lovely first of all. We had starter and main each and most of the dishes were fine the problem was with my main course. I ordered spicy goan prawn curry and the waiter asked if I wanted it spicy or not and I told him I wanted spicy as I enjoy spicy food. It arrived with absolutely no spice whatsoever and was extremely mild which was disappointing. Also there were only 4 prawns in it which I felt was mean for a main course, my boyfriend had had a prawn starter and that had 4 prawns so you'd expect more in a main course dish.

A Friend recommended this place, saying it has the best indian food in the city, thus I went to check myself. It fully matched the expectations! The Gentlemen who work there are hospital, kind and polite. Will patiently explain and suggest if you got lost in a menu with so many yummy things! As a lamb lover, I went for a Tawa Boti Kebab. On the next visits some more lamb and chicken dishes were degustated and every time they were delicious! Please mind, Indian food is quite spicy. If you want your dish to be less spicy, you can ask for it. One of the biggest advantages of the restaurant is the location: right in the heart of the city! Therefore, one can fully enjoy a very fresh beer or a bottle of wine and not to worry about taking a car afterwards. Public transportation and Uber will take you here and back in a very less interval of time. Place is recommended for any kind of visits: we saw families with kids, couples, friends and even a business dinner. Big thanks to the personel for all their care and effort and please keep up!

Incredible Indian restaurant with breathtaking interior, amazingly polite staff, lovely Indian music and dishes to die for. The prices reflect the quality, however they are big enough for even 2 people. And who wants to try many dishes for 1 price, they are welcome to come for a daily all you can eat buffet. I do not have many pics as I always dig in the delicious meals too fast, but trust me, it's so worth it, I can compare to many Indian places! Please support this gem of a restaurant!

We found this restaurant recommended by a friend and it was much more than expected! The deco it is kind of posh and warm welcoming, we went for dinner time and there were quite a few tables but no extra noise. I ordered chicken butter and I must admit it’s the best chicken butter I ever had! My partner had lamb rougan gosh and he said it was fantastic. They made the sweet naan at the moment and you could feel that on the taste. 100% worth it if you are in Prague!!!

We visited for the lunchtime buffet which at 150 koruna is good value. Having read previous reviews we we’re looking forward to some spice but the food was bland and barely warm. We had the vegetarian so the meat options might’ve been better. It filled us up at a good price but we found it uninspiring and not very flavourful

I visit here quite often for its decent price range and good quality of lunch meals. In their lunch menu they provide the curry with 1 portion of rice (for 1 person) and naan (1 naan cut into 2-3 pieces). I must say, the portion is filling. Also, as per the price perspective its decent, considering its in the center of Prague. They have halal lamb dishes in Palackého branch, but please do confirm about it. The staff are very friendly, cooperative, great staff I must say. Excellent service!

Came here as it is so highly rated. Was pretty busy but that was because there was a big group of people in. When it came to taking our order the guy taking our order said we can't have starters as the kitchen is so busy... dont open a restaurant if you can't handle orders, the restaurant isn't that big.. they need to employ more staff if that's the case. We only ordered main courses in the end. When the food came it tasted good though. Strange experience as I've never been told before not to order a starter, they obviously don't want the money.
