Lovely food, reasonable prices and a friendly welcome. Excellent quality dishes including the goulash and steak. The only negative was the removal of some of our plates whilst others were still eating.

its a nice restaurant with great food, the staff where also really nice as well. Another thing is that it's a quick spot to get to because it's pretty much in the centre of Prague and if you live on the outskirts of the city...it doesn't matter because its right next to the tram stop. 5/5 I really recommend the non alcoholic cocktailsMore
Pub and bar hopping around this part of town ( Zizkov District ) my twin brother Stephen and I decided to drop into Restaurace Lavicka ,a great restaurant we always look forward to visiting on any trip to Prague we take . I love the...look of this place ,interior is superb,it's a big rambling restaurant ,eye catching serving bar, eclectic decor and furnishings and plenty of seating options ,it's just a great place to unwind in. We were here on a Friday night,it was busy here but we luckily managed to get a table,we ordered beers from Bernard Brewery while we checked out the menu ,beers arrived iced cold and sparkling and with the distinctive foamy head so beloved by the Czech's ,we checked out the menu while sipping our beers and in the end we both opted to have a lamb meal each and after a relatively short wait our meals arrived and what a great treat. My meal was lovely, the lamb was amazing ,beautifully prepared and seasoned ,so tasty ,potatoes served with the meal were delicious and coupled with our beers made for a great dining experience in a fantastic restaurant. We moved on after our meal and beers and as on every other visit to here we had a great time. Restaurace Lavicka is easy to locate along Seiftervova. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday,11am till 11pm. Well worth seeking out if you're in the area.More
Lavìčka-Zahradní restaurace in Žìžkov is a superb restaurant and pub that offers one of the best value Czech meals we had on a seven day holiday in Prague. This is a really good restaurant and pub and one that we have visited several times. With a...bright and breezy interior and many interesting fixtures and features and great seating options throughout the interior'this is a great place to relax and unwind with a few beers and a tasty meal. We visited here in the evening and it was a little bit busy but we didn't have a problem in finding a table. When here we had a few Bernard brewery Czech beers and a lamb meal which were excellent and well priced considering what we had. This is a fantastic restaurant and pub and really easy to find from Lipanská tram stop it's a few minute's walk.(This is my first review of Restaurace Lavìčka-Zahradní). Opening Hours. Monday-Sunday-11.00-22.00. Public Transport. Tram Stop. Lipanská tram stop.More
We came here three weeks ago and the food was very tasty. Yosef was very pleasant and reassuring when told about my allergies and we had a very pleasant evening. Thank you!
Great food! Very delicious and even for vegetarians 4 main courses to choose. Looking forward for next time :)
We had tomato soup (Italian), musaka (Greek) and dill sauce with dumplings (Czech). Every meal was very delicious. Kind service. Recommended to sit outside if possible due to weather.
After a while of searching for a restaurant, as there are many around, we found this absolute gem. Walking in, the atmosphere was great, the staff were lovely and the decor was beautiful. There’s also a large garden. There are great options for both meat...eaters and vegetarians and all of our choices were delicious. In addition to this, it was great value for money. We have taken the information down for the restaurant as we definitely will be returning. Thank you Lavicka for a lovely evening!More
The place has a really nice inside garden where you can enjoy the food in summer. The menu is good, and beetroot veggie burger is a must. Not pricy, and staff is really good. I will come back 100%
Had a lovely meal of traditional beef and dumplings was really good and a meal for two with beers came out at £20
Great food. Beautiful place. Friendly service. We loved the lamb knuckle and the goat cheese on bulgar. I wish I could eat more.
We found this restaurant on day 1 of a 4 day break here after we hat eaten and had a few drinks on the wayback to our hotel. We returnedto eat last night and both had the tomato soup with basil pesto and parmesan and...the pork ribs. The flavours of both were incredible. So much so that we cameback again today, our last day, to have the same for lunch. Highly recommended.More
Myself and my boyfriend ate here tonight and were pleasantly surprised, having no expectations whatsoever on arrival. We were greeted by pleasant staff who were friendly and efficient in taking our order. We enjoyed a main course each and a shared dessert, accompanied by a...beer each, which came to approx €13 each. Good value for money overall and we will be sure to visit again soon.More
Nice restaurant with good ambiance. Not too chic. I had a great risotto and my husband had ribs. They were great (super tender) but the portion was a bit small. The cheaper Bernard beer was better than the expensive one (less bitter). The service was...ok. It seemed as if she preferred to serve Polish people. I would go here agian.More
This place took my breath away instantly. Being situated on a busy road in Žižkov/Prague 3 it welcomed us with warmth, huge green views into the garden, amazing hot chocolate (they offer three types) with whipped cream. Very friendly staff was very attentive and our...table was never without a drink. They offer meat and vegetarian dishes making us all satisfied. It is my new eat-well-get-cosy hotspot in Žižkov for sure.More
