We ate duck and tunasteak. It was very delicious, but small portion. We tried the deserts as well. The chocolate cake was excellent, i did not like the tiramisu. We tasted several vines, i prefered cabernet savognon from california Bogle. I will come back soon!

Not too far from the castle, but still away from the main tourist areas. Very prompt and multilingual staff. Excellent food. At or above average prices (but well worth it). Mediterranian cousine. Pleasant interior, "outdoor garden"is on a walkway, but the street was not too...busy. Very funky/clean bathrooms. Food was delivered hot, excellent taste. The only reason why not grade them 5/5 was the fact, that despite noon rush being over, it took almost 30 minutes between soup and main course (pasta). We felt a tiny bit forgotten...probably just a minor glitch. Highly recommended.More

My husband had taken a cooking course from the chef, Tomas Cerny, and we decided to try his restaurant. What a fantastic experience! The restaurant is designed in a beautiful, open layout with sidewalk seating also available. The staff welcomed us with such a friendly...manner (something that is not common in Prague). The menu has a limited number of items and that's always a good sign. Everything they served was fresh and thoughtfully arranged. Every dish was as beautiful as it tasted. My husband ordered the gazpacho to start off his meal. It's not a dish I've ever liked. But, I tried this one and was blown away at how tasty it was. We thoroughly enjoyed the calamari, cod and pasta we ordered. And, dessert (Tiramisu!) was divine. They also had a wide variety of wonderful wines to compliment our meal. We have a new favorite restaurant Prague! Thanks to Tomas and his staff for providing such a special evening for us. We'll be back!More

Had a very nice lunch here today eating from the a la carte menu. But when you pay 3300kc for 2 ( ie 120?) you expect a little more than ok or even good. So was there anything exceptional about our experience - NO. The...food was good but made no statement, the service was good ish, the staff were adequately trained & overall we had what I can only describe as a normal experience. My key question always is- will I go back and my answer sadly is, probably not. There was a 3 course lunch menu for 395kc per person without drinks - maybe that wouldn’t be bad but still a no from me. As a general rule right now ( Covid times) wouldn’t it be a sensible idea for restaurants to discount the wine list by 20% at lunchtime??More

Imaginative and beautifully cooked food and very good service, possibly helped by the fact there were only 2 tables occupied, which was a mystery on a Saturday night as this is a very very good restaurant. My only quibble is the rather limited wine list....The beef ribs I had were full of subtle flavour and very delicately cookedMore

We wanted somewhere special for my partners Birthday, and we were not disappointed! This is a bright, beautifully laid out restaurant with the most welcoming staff I have ever experienced. They are passionate and enthusiastic about what they do,answering all questions relating to the menu...without hesitation. The bar man made us the best cocktails we have ever had. He even came to the table to help us decided which the right cocktail was for us. As for the food, an undeniable 10/10. A score I have never given before, the chef deserves a Michelin star. Everything on the plate serves a purpose and the flavours are fantastic on their own and work flawlessly together. I ordered the pork tenderloin. The meat was cooked perfectly, so tender that even though it was a thick piece the knife slid through like hot butter and the meat just melted in the mouth. The smoothest of purees and veg cooked perfectly with a delicious jus that packed so much flavour and tied the whole dish together. My girlfriend's desert arrived with a candle as it was her birthday, a total surprise but really gave a personal touch and made the night feel special. Talking to the bar man at the end of the night he explained that everything in the restaurant is done from the heart. This is evident in every member of staff, the friendly welcome and service, the quality of of the food and how its presented and the attention to detail to ensure you have the perfect night. The whole experience is flawless. Only a 5 minute walk from Dejvicka metro station, the is one that you don't want to miss out on!More

This place gave me the best restaurant experience and customer service I have had in my life. The food is simply incredible! Amazing flavours and felt there was a real passion from the waiting staff, the barman and chefs in the kitchen for getting things right!...I went for my birthday whilst on holiday in Prague and couldn’t have picked a better place to celebrate. We were given a really personalised service and have to say the barman in particular was outstanding in how he recommended and also prepared our drinks (quite honestly the best mixed cocktails I have had in my life!). The barman told me that everything they do in the restaurant is done from the heart and I truly believe this! As a tourist in Prague, I felt so welcomed and when I return to Prague I will definitely be back to visit again! Really easy to walk to from Dejvická Metro station, which was close to where we were staying, but I would happily travel there if not staying nearby as it is such a fantastic find! As you can tell from this review I cannot recommend it enough! Thank you so much for a wonderful birthday!More

Date night at Dejvicka 34 was a real treat. The waitstaff was helpful - and the owner spent time talking to the guests. Things that make a big difference on a night out! The food was really excellent. We had the cream corn and coconut...soup. It was simply perfect. Great texture and subtle tastes of Asia. We were both silent as we enjoyed this rather special treat on a cold November evening. The main courses were also very good. I had the ribs, which were so tender - and my partner had the pork tenderloin in cocoa - not at all what I expected. It was perfectly cooked with no taste of cocoa, but a lovely presentation. We ordered a side of "potato in sea salt." This was our one misjudgment. We misread (misunderstood?) the menu and were expecting some small potatoes, but instead, we were served the largest potato we have ever seen. It was not great. Too much salt - texture not a great compliment for our meal. And although we were advised as such, it was an unnecessary addition to the main course. We ALMOST didn't order dessert. THAT would have been a mistake. The chocolate duo - with passionfruit and salted caramel - was gobsmackingly fabulous. I will be thinking about this all day today as I try to get some work done.More

We had a family dinner at the recently-opened Dejvicka 34 and were very impressed. The starters - ceviche and steak tartar -- were absolutely delicious, and our main courses were fantastic. Our son wanted to order a second portion of the ribs(!) We had a...bottle of reasonably-priced and quaffable Barbera D'Alba which we thoroughly enjoyed. Oh yes, and the desserts were sublime... The interior is chic and comfortable. The service was cheerful. A great addition to the neighborhood and a place that we look forward to coming back to often.More
